Ebony and Abissinia seem to have a very spirited fight going on related to East/West Africans, with only DSP and Admin knowing what it’s all about. Maybe it’s because I live in the west, but I don’t have a clue. Then again DSP is in the west and he seems to know. Anyway, for the edification of the clueless like me, is it possible for someone to simply explain the issues without taking sides.
I’m not asking for the sake of stirring controversy, but I was troubled by a thread being closed to avoid the subject. If there are issues that we can’t calmly discuss between ourselves, then we are in bigger trouble then even I thought

It started when people made a big deal out of how east africans look diffrent from west africans. as if were not all black people in the end...we might look diffrent but we are still black and proud of it. and sometimes I just feel like west africans are trying to seperate themselves from us and in vice versa. which is impossible because even though germans look different from other whites there still whites..even though the japanese look diffrent from other asians there still asian. All I want is acceptance really...but nobody cares..oh well 
I think its just the divide and conquer thing planted into our brains..we dont all have to look the same people...we know we are all black.
