"The wise say that the best way to predict one's future is to create it yourself. But can Africans create their own future without an identity? Africa's governments must start investing in traditional programs, were elderly people can visit schools and tell about life in the past so that children will grow up knowing who they are.
Modern Africans are suffering because they luck identity. They have adopted and adapted themselves to television lifestyles that mean nothing in their everyday life. It is far from Hollywood to Mtenguleni or even to Chiwempala. Ludwig von Mises writes; “Economics is not about things and tangible material objects; it is about men, their meanings and actions�.
What are men and these actions? Its the mentality, their background, their cultures and traditions, for without these characters, man wouldn't be able to control his own resources.
He would be like a wrecked ship lost at sea."

"Vision is the ability to see the future through the past.
Therefore, an Afrikan centered manhood requires Afrikan men to begin envisaging themselves as ancient warrior scholars. It requires a newfound, but traditional, male role model that integrates educator with warrior. It requires them to visualize themselves as jenoch.
The extreme polarization of warrior from educator brought about by the Western drive toward excessive specializtion, e.g., separating thought from action, negates this possibility. Regardless, Afrikan men must embrace and actualize a holistic personality which accepts
and nurtures both mentalities. The Afrikan community needs a model of manhood that accepts neither the ivory nor ebony towers as safe havens during times of ignorance and war."
