The American posters will already be familiar with this incident. I only saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it had me in stitches. This is one game I would have loved to attend:
Ben Wallace versus Ron Artest versus the entire Arena!

More like Ron Artest punked out by Ben Wallace and then turns his anger on the smallest white guy he can find. LOL
Prince go back and look at Artest lying on the table and then notice the AA lady talking mucho ish and then when Artest climbs into the audience watch how her demeanor changed......ROFL talk about an OH SH*T moment LOL

drunk racist white guy threw cup of beer on Artest like he was at the zoo or something......
Black fans who joined in, in that arena had to feel like COMPLETE bozos and coons when they relaized how the incident started.....

| I still cannot figure out why they attacked the wrong guy, still through all of that mayhem, I only remember the picture they showed of the AA kid holding his very frightened younger brother who was in tears. Not sure where the kids parents were in this. I have not looked at the NBA the same since that incident.....

LOL I didn't notice an AA woman, but still those white guys who threw the popcorn and beer at Artest only did it because they knew they could get away with it since they were pretty much at an unreachable height.
The total chaos was funny as hell and I'm sure 90% of the people that joined in only did that for the thrill!
Ben Wallace was out of order because he wasn't even fouled that hard! All that madness was his fault.

Wallace's mother had recently died
in fact...his brother was in the stands..and beat up fred jones(pacers team mate who went over to help get artest out of there)
it was a dumb meaningless foul by Artest...
wallace is a hardnosed player....he flt artest was cheap shotting him...

But if Wallace wasn't ready to go back just yet after grieving, he should have kept away for a bit longer. There's no point in playing if you're going to be a ticking timebomb. Besides it's not as if Artest did that on purpose and it wasn't that bad a foul, I've seen a lot worse.Last edited on Friday September 22nd, 2006 19:44 by Prince Hakeem

Moro.....the game was well over....the hard foul was not called for...
I love Artest but it was an un necessary hard foul with the game already decided.....and less than a minute left(if I recall)
Wallace acted admirably considering the circumstances...and Artest DID foul him hard on purpose.....

Ben Wallace is stronger and tougher than 99% athletes alive....I'd bet money on that...
my complete post said that....game was over.....think less than minute left...think pistons had 15 point lead or something... foul was uncalled for......
people can have their opinions but calling wallace soft is a joke....

Pistons organization didn't learn anything..
under reported but TRUE story....
during bulls/pistons game....rip hamilton got into argument with tyus thomas.....both got ejected..as Thomas headed to locker room.....low life in Detroit threw stuff on him.......maybe 2 or 3 fans did it....
Pistons and NBA are sweeping story under the rug
