We've won more than Arsenal in the last 2 seasons
And will win more this year too
@ Le Moor
Emirates is great stadium - but atmosphere is nothing compared to Anfield
Try and get there early if you can - from Arsenal tube - turn right go straight ahead and you cant miss it from there - it will be on ur right
Ok, i only live up the road, so wont be hard. What road is it on then, i vaguely remember the whereabouts when it was being built, cant think of the road though.

Ok here's a bit of trivia for you.
I spoke to someone today who said that he went on one of the Liverpool Stadium tours and said.
"Did you know that Liverpool Football club has a 22 year waiting list for season tickets"

Keep updated on Florent sinama pongolle. Pongolle by name, goal by nature. Been doing well in spain so far. Has scored 4 goals with only 3 starts. Keep it up and then hurry yourself back over here!

Ok liverpool fans...is it fair to say that THIS is a must win game for your lot today, if Liverpool can't beat the current whipping boys of the Premiership then someone or something has to change?

@ le moor
i think theres some serious problems in the dressing room and its showing on the pitch
me think Rafa has lost the dressing room!!
Our last few games prove this....we were shocking - its like the players were on strike - no passion, urgency to our game - all they did was keep passing the ball backwards

@ Rafa you could be right. Tongues are wagging amongst the pundits with the 'sack' word being bannded about. Always an early tell-tale sign.
I just think the team has lost its way after seeing the title slip away. The expectations were high after buying in so many players and the club seems to be sufferring an anti-climatic effect.
They need to focus on a CL run and good runners up position domestically. Its unexceptable to let heads drop which is what they're doing.

Liverpool misfit Jan Kromkamp has accused his former team of being ugly.
Kromkamp, who found a home at PSV Eindhoven after being shown the exit door by Rafa Benitez, claims the Eredivisie side have the measure of their opposition ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash.
With The Reds' form having taken a downturn this season, Kromkamp claims the team's failings have been exposed.
Chief among them according to Kromkamp is Benitez's over-reliance on long balls to Peter Crouch.
"We know how to get at Liverpool. They have plenty of weaknesses," said Kromkamp.
"They often revert to kicking long ugly balls up to Peter Crouch.
"The manager's tactics change as soon as you frustrate his players and that is what we will be aiming to do on Wednesday.
"They have weaknesses in several places, especially in the gap between defence and midfield, and also at centre back.
"In one-on-ones, the two in the middle of defence are very good, but they cannot contribute to Liverpool's build up play. So we will focus on that.
"If you block them from deep they soon lose their rhythm and start playing those long balls up to Crouch."
Although he not a great player himself, seems like a pretty good analysis. Its easy for other defences to suss out our style of play. We are notorious with our long balls especially to crouch. This weakness in our game worried me earlier this year (when we played portsmouth in the fa cup- we were awful!). However we got through the rest of the season ok, but now this weakness in our game is finally exposed.

Good result tonight! Keep it up!
Its gon a lil quiete in here. I know the season has already hit an anti-climax. Keep your head up.
Reds close in on teen star
Nov 22 2006
EXCLUSIVE by Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo
LIVERPOOL are close to snapping up Argentina starlet Emiliano Insua in a deal worth around £1m.
The 17-year-old left-back arrived on Merseyside today from legendary South American club Boca Juniors.
He'll be at Anfield in time to watch tonight's Champions League clash with PSV.
It's anticipated he'll initially sign on loan until the end of the season, with the deal agreed to make the move permanent next summer.
Story continues
ADVERTISEMENT
Insua is part of the exciting Argentine Under-20 side who are currently world champions at their level, and his arrival is part of an ongoing strategy by Rafa Benitez to recruit elite youngsters from across the world and provide a stable foundation for the future of the club.
Chief scouts Frank McParland and Eduardo Macia have been entrusted to scour the globe for potential stars of the future.
Insua comes into that category, having been spotted excelling for his country's youth team, and there are expected to be more recruits in the New Year.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona were tracking Insua, but Liverpool were the first to show an interest in the teenager, prompting him to reject recent moves from Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford.
There are those at Anfield who believe Insua could challenge for a first team spot before the end of this season, and will certainly be an option in time for the 2007-08 campaign.
Ya might think great, another defender! But in all honesty i think we need the kind of defendef thats good at going forward. Hope he fits that category.

Good result last nite. I missed the game but saw the goals. Crouch again. We seem to be finding our form in this competition.

Rumours are hes on his way to a decent side that play in red, in a swap deal with Craig Bellamy. What you think true or false?
Personally i cant see it as it looks more likely he could end up at West Ham where hes soon to play on loan possibly. Cant see Chelsea wanting Craig Bellamy either.
Virtual stadium tour.

Whats rafa's excuse going to be now? Wait for it, wait for it.....'we created lot and lots of chances!' Ahahaha! I'm sorry but that performance wasnt good enough. Le moor you said in an earlier post that its unacceptable for the players to hang their heads down, well it is unaccpetable since they only have themselves to blame. Well hanging their heads down is wot they've been doing. They really cant be bothered anymore. One goal in the last four prem games is proof of this. Garcia and pennant were lazy all night. Both substituted by YOUNGSTERS (guthrie and el zhar) and the game suddenly came to life. An attacking flair was coming in from the wide position from our youngsters because they showed passion and urgency. So hats off to them.
I could go on and on but there's no point really. Im going to spend the next few months anticipating what changes are going to be made (if any). Shaun wright phillips would be ideal. We probably wont get him but we do need someone of his quality in the wide areas.

No gonzalez, No pennant = GOALS!
These two should spend six months in the reserves if they are gonna show any quality that we previously anticipated.
