Thanks Michelle33,Rastawoman,Miss Nellia,MidwestGirl and AmeriJamCam.
Well folks ive been in New York for the last week hence my absence from the Village and im still here,will be for a few more weeks,its hard to find internet access in New York believe it or not,I guess maybe coz everyone has it in their homes,you can go to the various libraries but I havnt investigated that yet.
Things here are as hectic as per usual,but that just my life.
Still recovering from the shock and shame of "It`s hard out there for a pimp" winning an Oscar for best original song.I can just imagine the academy members laughing their asses off at the prospect of that win.
The Oscars or at least that category has officially Jumped the Shark!!!
Oh,I now bring you news of a Hasidic Jewish rapper who is blowing up the charts here in NY,I cant remember or pronounce his name but suffice it to say when I saw him performing my head almost exploded!!
His music is a combination of Hip-Hop beats,with reggae flavours and he dresses on stage in full orthodox regalia.
Look for him to be soiling a screen near you sometime soon.
Can we have nothing without these Vampires sucking the life-force out of it?????

So today is two years since my Mother passed away and I would just like to publicly big up the spirit of my Mum she was an amazing character,wonderful,generous and gifted human being and I was blessed to have her raise me.
I really dont know where the time has gone......I do know that I have gone through some trials and tribulations mentallysince I lost her but I manage to get through even the bleakest times,somehow.
I would also like to thank Blacknet for its part in helping me maintain my sanity.
So here's to my Mother Mut Ebujah Afua.
I will love you always

Thanks for your kind words everyone,it means more than you could know.
@Happiness,first year is the toughest I reckon,dont think I can say it ever really gets easier,what happens is you just become more accepting and philosophical....the best thing about this happening..if there is any best to be gotten out of a situation like this...is knowing that if you can survive this,you can get through anything....every other trauma in life will pale in comparison to this..except maybe God forbid the death of a child,...and you will draw strength from her spirit,I talk to my Mum everyday in some form or fashion,even if it's just saying Hi and smiling at her photograph,her earthly house is gone but she is still very present for me.So keep your head up girl and remember to laugh raucously as often as you can,coz thats what your Mom would want you to do.
