JB......I know that I have contributed already but the following words that Mafdet reproduced were spoken at My Mums Funeral and those words nearly 9 years later will always carry me thru'....I'm sure it'll be the same for you..Continue to be Strong and cry when U have to..and you will....

All Is Well
Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household world that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It it the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Jet Black:

You have my deepest sympathies sweet-heart.......blkrubhead

That's for real.

My mother passed a while back and the only thing that sustained me those first few weeks was the fact that I was fortunate enough to have had a loving and wonderful relationship with her right up until the end.

It's truly a relief and blessing to know that you've had a good relationship with a loved one when they pass.

If your mother dies...you WILL grief...believe me.

But just remember that you mother is at peace right now and would want the same for you even under these trying circumstances so remember that and don't let your grief overwhelm you.

God bless.....

God bless, Jet Black.

You and your family have my sympathies.

Though in your heart her time was far too short, be sure to thank God for giving you such a gift and for such a long time.

Be strong for the journey is yours now.

My deepest deepest sympathies go to you Jett Black. May your beautiful mothers soul rest in perfect peace.

At this time, not much can bring comfort, except for kind words, and the knowledge that people have you in their hearts.

Take any comfort where you can get it, the pain eases with time, and your mother is still with you, always.

REST IN PEACE EBUJAH.

Jettblack, I am so sorry :(  I think about losing my mom and dad and I don't know what I will do. Death is something we will all have to face at some time,  yet it does not lessen the pain. I will pray that you be comforted in your time of grieving.

jett black

all i can say is that i know your pain. i lost my mum a few years ago. it was just 4 days after i turned 21 which is 3 days before my brothers 27th.

for me it was too much to read all your post as it made me confront feelings that i try to lay down. but know this as hard as it may seem now the times will get easier. my friends lost her dad shortly after meeting him and that was like 10 yrs ago,

you are not alone and i understand. need to talk just pm me

So sorry Jetblack, I know what you're going through based on experiences as yours.

She is resting peacefully now,  and the bond you both shared and fond memories of her is a blessing to you.

Well im back...

Just got back from New York about 5 hours ago.

Well this experience didnt kill me as I always suspected it would...but maybe im dying slowly?? I dont know.I do know that I am thoroughly depressed and heartbroken and the grief can be somewhat unbearable, but yet im still standing.

When I have slighty decompressed I will report back on the runnings of which there are many, whilst I was there my good friends aunt died so I extended my stay by a week so I could attend her funeral...in the back of my mind I was like"uh oh these things come in 3,s".Sure enough as soon as I step off plane I turn on my mobile only to receive a text that my friends Mother died....when it rains it pours eh?

Anyway there is much to talk about,it will be a-to quote Kunjufu"long tings alert" but I believe a lot of the Village will find it a worthwhile read.

Until then take care of yourselves Villagers.x:)

Jett Black....Welcome Back......Please remember as we all said at the time the grieving will not go in a straight line....there will almost certainly be "peaks & troughs" emotionally.. when,at times,U will seemingly fo
