hayo peeps
first post here ever, found this site on another site and havent yet inspeculated it. am 29, from the dirrty south and have two monsters. daughter, seven, and son, two.

Watta gwan people? i'm a 17 yr old but have the brain and maturity of a 50(sumtimes).......i aint afraid 2 tell people if i disagree with there opinion. Just comin on this site because I used 2 go on blackpeeps but the discussions on dat forum was gettin kinda dry and from what i see it isnt the case here everyone in here is very strongminded which is good.

Hi everyone,
I'm a 26 yr old grad student living in the U.S. I've been on BN for 2 weeks now and enjoy coming here. At some point I'll take the plunge and register my name b/4 someone else takes it. I love the fact that Diasporans are interested enuff to take the time to find each other for the purpose of communicating.

A little about me: I work for myself and get a real buzz out of helping others to help themselves. I like to travel, make music, invest in property and I have a strong interest in mental health issues...

Greetings! I guess this is good place for my first official post to this website..I'm a 34 year old black american man.Ummmm! with a keen interest in meeting blacks from other countries.I've lurked for a few weeks and have found the dialogue here to be quite interesting.Oddly enough...........I can relate to much of it,in spite of the fact that I live thousands of miles from the u.k.

My name is Alan Kitwana Crawford, I am Mixed Race (Black Caribbean and White British) and I'm from St. Helens, Merseyside in the North West of England.
I've just joined today and think this forum is fantastic reading the posts on MIXED RACE KIDS thread has already helped me a lot, and I hope to be an active member of such an excellent community.
I'm 19 and a Law Student at Nottingham University...
I'm into Politics... I'd label myself a progressive, liberal socialist and I'm a member of the Labour Party, I'm passionate about current affairs, human rights and Issues relating to the black community.

It nice to the variety of people accessing these forum from so many parts of the UK and America...Like i say to all new people it..the debate here can be a bit passionate..(the nature of our people,) but hang in there...If it gets too rough contact me or the admin team all views are welcomed and encouraged, as long as it respects the African centred culture of this site. One other point generally it is good practise NOT too many personal details about yourself on the web for obvious reasons.. So Alan no disrespect intended i think you've said too much about yourself and i would urge you to tone down the amount of personalised info you give in future ok....

Hi Kunjufu,
It's actually nothing but religion I'm studying all kinda of religious tradition from christianity to hinduism. The whole thing take 5 years to finish, then you'll get your university degree. I'm in my 2nd season so I got long back.
