Hey peoples
I'm Yello, not self proclaimed but the name has stuck regardless. 36yrs young, London based and been scanning ya words for a couple of weeks now.
Feeling plenty of the poems, responses, debates and the occasional words of wisdom.
Hobbies: trying to make my Saxophone sound like an instrument instead of a sick Donkey (but then again plenty Brandy helps to do that), a little researching into world conspiracies or just generally learning about anything, this is one of the reasons I logon every day. Very refreshing to hear all from my Brothers and sisters prespectives Happy New Year to y'all

Hi y'all. My name is Trini. In advance of the demise of that other MB thought I would poke my head round Blacknet's door for the first time and see what's going on. Although I have already been posting comments, I have just realised that I havn't officially introduced myself (how rude of me.) Anyway I am a 28 yr old female. Living in London with my hubby and our 6 yr old daughter. I am currently employed as a Crown Court Clerk, I say currently because I'm seriously considering a career change. I will son be starting an Open University Course in Social Policy so i'm hoping that this discussion forum will be beneficial in getting my rusty old mind working. I enjoy sketching, painting and in fact most things arty. I am an avid reader and enjoy discussing and debating. With that said, I look forward to exchanging thoughts in the forums.

EAZY y'all. I am a 19yr old white male who has grown up in a black community. I have a black step father, mixed race fiancee, 3 black uncles and 6 mixed race cousins so therefore have a good understanding of the black culture too. I have grown up hangin out wit black people all my life. I am like Eminem in some respects, BUT I know i am white. I dont talk, act or think I am black in any way, shape or form.

Hey All, this is Angel of Harlem, 36 yrs old and married to a wonderful man. I am unfortunately a little bit of a on again off again, reader and poster. I discovered this site as I was doing some research on Black Leaders of America (USA, originally 30 + years in N.Y.....now in the deep South......)
I really love all the opionions and viewpoints and I feel like I will learn much from everyone. I also love the diversification in our backgrounds & our viewpoints, that will keep me interested. I currently work at a University and I am enrolled in a Doctorate program that begins full time for me Fall 2004 (and this by no means, makes me grammer smart........ 
I do keep quite busy. I hope to keep up with this site at the very least during my next few years of study........please forgive me if I disappear for a while.
I am a former Jazz musician so, hence the Billy Holiday name/Harlem reference as taken from the band U2.
