My apologise for my tardiness can I welcome the following new posters to the Blacknet Village and say a big big hello on behalf of all the BN participants to the following recent newcomers:

Hello, name is NubianQueen, 35 from NewJersey, stumble onto the site from a nother site, started reading the messageboard, got hook, wanted to join, and establish some distance friends around the world, noticed the interaction with everyone on the boards
( the fun, the laughter), and wanted to be included, not new to messageboards, or the computer, have been online for nearly 4years, intermingling with pals across thw world, own my own penpals site on msn, over 500 and counting, but wanted to shy away and find time for chat with my brothers and sisters and open my mind to what's around me , and share and enlight as much as i can, ...so i hope you embrass me wit love and respect and i would do the same in return....thnks and see you around the board, ...Nubian

| Big big Welcome Nubian Queen, you may or may not know but we already have a few of your American cousin on board already Look out for Ashanti & Bluehoney.. also we have the maturer poster here too borthers like Ijexa, Fred and sisters like Mafdet.. Hi Im BlackBeauty.
Have been on here for about a month or 2 as a guest, but only decided to register.
Im 20 y/o, currently a student and i am throughly enjoying my studies-except the deadlines cause i always tend to get writer's block around those times!
I love writing, reading, debating/arguing, watching a variety of film (when i have time), late night bowling, kissing and eating-food that is Started to get interested in greek mythology (though haven't started doing n e thing about it i.e. reading, researching) and i have always been interested in martial arts (partic Tai Chi), meditating-but never seem to do it.
I consider myself to be passionate about what i believe in  and can get frustrated when i am not understood. I like to converse on a range of topics, though i dont know everything about everything-so am open to new theories on issues, being educated about other things out there.
Ok enough rambling!-CAN N E ONE TELL ME OF IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE AN AVATAR OF YOUR CHOICE BECAUSE WHEN I TRIED TO GET ONE UP IT WOULDNT WORK?! thanks.

Oi my name is Iyainha,
I live in the USA in California. I'm a girl, but in the last 12 years my heart has belong to Bahia Brazil! Some of yardies call me a trader, but what can I do, African Brazilians of have more Passion. Brazil is my new home, so I will be moving there soon.
What am I into, well I am in a Brazilian performing dance company, I work in the School of Optomtery at UC Berkeley, I teach dance and of course I am the Queen of Carnaval in San Francisco 2003. I've gone to Brazil three times, each has been better then the last. I love communicating with my brothers and sisters from around the world. I've been searching for a website like this. I have a cousin who lives in the UK. I just met her this past summer. I was great seeing someone that looks so much like me. If people want to know more about me you can email me

Welcome Iyainha...Well i can say without fear of contradiction that you are definately the first Jamaica we've had posting from Brazillll.... Although I'm not sure about Jamaican's not having passion have ever tried tekking someones food wid out asking first..then you'll see passion..
Anyway Glad you enjoyed the site hope to read more stuff from you from a Brazilian perspective and more about the comparisons between Brazil & Jamaica..

Oi Kunjufu,
Thanks for the warm welcoming! I'm not saying that us Jamaicans don't have passion, we do for sure, it's just African Brazilians have something that is very different. It's just more passion! The men are much more romantic and sweetier then the men from home. When a African Brazilian men romance you, you feel like you are on top of the world. I had two great boyfriends when I was there. They really take their time with you and love you just right; however this is not the reason why I'm moving to Brazil. Like I said before I perform with a Brazil dance company and Brazil is like mecca for me when it comes to various style of dances I do. So I want to learn even more, plus I just fit in there. This is basicly Bahia Brazil. I would love to share more of my stories with everyone in the future.
On another topic, does anyone here celebrate Kwanzza? If so please let me know I would like to know what it's like for you.

Hello everybody!
My name is Twang extremely versatile. I'm new to the game and would like posters to go easy on me as my post's at times could be deemed to be a tad little extreme as I believe that we as black people are being biologically cleansed by a genetically inferior species and along with various methods of mind control are very close to extinction.
