| From Booker T, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm x, Rastafari, National of Islam to Kunjufu and many more, have argued the need for for black economic base to solve black peoples social, economic and political challenges. The aim being to have a greater stakeholding(power) nationally and internationally. Otherwise in the not too distant future, black people will be surplus to requirements. Fit only to be consumers and entertainers(remember the court jester or joker). Even our consumer role will be at risk if we are not economically active in the future! Remember we have the lowest owner occupier rates(that creates a future asset base to pass on) and one the highest unemployment rates, especiall young male adults. Oh and not forgetting the non contributing black men in prisons. Steve Pope from the 'Nation' rightly questions ours and white establishments preoccupation with music as an economically and political sound career options. Some will make it but the majority will have to look for alternative income generating activities. I believe the fallout for black boys as against white community is very dire indeed. The old and boring history of low paid jobs,unemployment, poor housing, prison, mental health, increased anger and fustration. But the BIG ONE is those same young people will bring up children of their own with a very low starting base(low stake holding). What do think the result be for their children. Probably more failure. So far 40-50 years worth. A lot of us are doing well but a hell of a lot aren't. Our 5 GCSE A-C pass rate 24%, white 51% Chinese 85%. Are we going backwards?(interms of our stake-holding). Somebody's awake then! Black people are expendable to the european race, only here to meet their needs - physically (work), psychologically (emulate/flatter them) and sexually (I won't go there!). The black man is (easily) bought, used and discarded. Yet still reviled. Willing replacements always available from any hot, black country. Has always been that way and always will be. It's how the West was son. Those of us with any hard-earned crumbs from their tables are so grateful, we do all in our power to not to share amongst ourselves and in fact, give it right back to him. (A show of gratitude). Our God-given creativity is stifled due to the need to 'crossover' and suit the european tastes. (But what the hell, it needs sophisticating anyway).
We will NEVER rise, because whilst you have blacks talking about being British and other suchlike crap they are distracted from the real issues facing them. We need to stop trying to run England and Europe and concentrate on what's going on in our own backyards. (But then, if the natives get too savvy, where would these rich, educated europeans play?)
So there you are, buy, use, discard. Then you die. No thanks for contributing to their civilised society. (But hey, at least some black people lucky enough to live in a civilised country). What a (1st)world eh!
