Ok Folks its that time of the year again....Blacknet Village forum awards, where we show appreciation to those posters that make us think, laugh, and inspire us with their views, thoughts and passion..
These awards were orginally started wa back on the old forum by Blacknet Villager 'incognito' hence the name... The categories this year have been chosen by our very own Ashanti..so here goes.
Overall awards:
Best Male poster is?
Best Female poster is?
Best newcomer is?
Best Thread is?
Best debate was?
Specialist awards.
Common sense poster (his/her posts make you think and are always on point)
no-nonsense poster (poster who can spot a windup and properly deals with troublemakers)
Wittiest poster (person who always makes the village laugh.)
Best comical exchange (a discussion between two posters that had the village laughing hysterically.)
Poster with the most-est (the villager who is the total package....a person who can inform, educate, inspire, make the village laugh and is a good debater all in one.)
Most involved poster (villager who engages in a variety of topics and starts an equal number of threads)
Best newcomer (newbie who joined the village and held their own.)
Best Oldschooler (veteran villager whom the village respects for not only helping to set the tone but to keep those who step out of line in check.)

Best Female poster is? Black Beauty. She give sensible arguments/balanced viewpoints.

@All the only categories which I don't have to think about are the two following:
Wittiest poster (person who always makes the village laugh.)
Has to be shared. Sooofresh and Peacemaker. Sharpest wits and bitting intelligence in the house. These two kill me. Every time.
Best comical exchange (a discussion between two posters that had the village laughing hysterically.)
Has to be Sooofresh. Know it by heart. Think the thread was" Do black men like Asians or something similar. Famous, infamous unforgetable exchange where Sooofresh was offering the Asian person a Samosa. Then someone who is half Asian and African Caribbean came on and asked what would you offer me? Sooofresh replied Somosa with chicken and some hot pepper sauce....
Will die and still remember that classic encounter. I remember the day and what I was doing when I read that...Top draw....
