Hi everyone,
This is just to announce the birth of my first nephew, the first of the second generation of my family in this country. He was born yesterday evening. He is beautiful, healthy and alert.
My family is over the moon.

SF & DM - trust that baby will be spoilt by me. DM , its soo funny, i really want to buy him a pair of timbos - just waiting till the child can walk comfortbly.
@Wotsits - lol my cousin who is a spurs fan, told my bruv to call him Jermaine Defoe. Then he said he is bringing a spurs baby gro for him. My brother promptly told his twin, to get out and go and buy his baby arsenal gear. Not to mention a season ticket!
LOL! - Another gooner added to the fold.

Listen this baby has the biggest eyes, i have ever seen on a baby, his whole face is eyes, he really takes after my brother! LOL

Congratulations to ur brother and the extensions of ur family clan - aunt days that sounds more like a granny's name. BIG MAMA DAYS.
As an uncle myself I tell u they can be a terror sometimes when they get a bit older. You need to allow all that adidas and timbos talk.
My niece was saying at 6 YEARS OLD "I don't like Puma and Reebok I like Adidas and Nike" So we started getting her market trainers. Two stripe Adihash.

The kids are learning fast these days but yeah thats what I did so many educational books and games and every once in a while some nice kicks. Then she learnt too quick about brand names so we had to change the program.
Anyway u can't help but spoil kids, especially when they ur sisters/brothers children and u see them every couple of weeks.
And trust they get smart and try to play u, but u can't fall for them ones especially when I still remember and USE all the tricks in the book.

Being an Aunt is so great, because you can spoil him rotten and send him home to his mommy and daddy soon, as he gets crabby. LOL
My nephew is 18 months now, and already so smart he knows where to run after doing something naughty, he got the entire family wrapped around his tiny fingers.
He is just so precious, a joy and an absolute entertainment for the whole family….

Og a o! Ok coltrane, not sure if you picked up on it, but my cousin was just teasing my bruvva, cos my bruvva is a gooner and he is a spurs fan. And also, the child is half Nigerian and half Sierra Leonian, so there is no way he would have a name like Sundiata Kwame Toure. aaaa-aaaaa.
Anyway Abbissinia - i just can't wait. Listen the child is already the centre of attention. He such a peaceful baby.
I want to see him walk, and talk. I want to take him out! I just love him so much! and he's only been in the world for 2 days

Hey maybe rather than just welcoming a new life, yall could welcome him 'into' a new life where our youngins can respect us for making efforts to secure them, rather than having another African who is way pressured into the obstrcutions of our common social sphere?
There r many things on this board that gets neglected but yet is very well connected to the well being on your new born nephew, from 2Pac, Maolcolm X, to the alcoholics on road, were also once new born babies. Wishes is great, actions r greater! And thats how I express my appreciation for your new born!!
