In this Sunday’s programme we will be joined by Sister Mawete of the Moyo Wa Taifa Afrikan Women's organisation.  At the age of 14 sister Mawete participated as a frontline soldier in the liberation war of the people of Angola against Portugese imperialism.  In addition, briefly exploring her experience as an armed warrior, she will updating us on the role of Afrikan women in fighting neo-colonialism in west Afrika where she has been based recently.  The phone line will be open for you to raise questions and comments about the new film and his heroic feat in the belly of the beast
