As you will know, the government appeal against last year's Chagossian victory in the High Court is due to be heard shortly.
We do not know the exact time and court number until the Lists are made public after 2.30 on Friday 2nd February but we think the case will start on Monday 3rd.February at either 10.00 or 10.30 (and Wednesday and Thursday)
The case will be Sec of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs versus Louis Olivier Bancoult. It will be the Civil Division of the Court of Appeal at the Royal Courts of Justice on The Strand.
I will be there from 9.30 and will be happy to meet any sympathisers and supporters. I will be wearing an old green wax jacket, red scarf and a name badge.
If you are planning to be there, please let me know so that we can meet up.
If you wish to check exact court and time, please ring 0207 947 6917 after 2.30 on Friday or try the Court website.
There will be a demonstration of support for the Chagossians at 12.00 on Monday 5th February, meeting at Richmond Terrace which is opposite to the entrance to Downing Street. We would be happy to see you there too.
