Never too hot on John La Rose on one level, even though respected his commitment and hard work. Just never swallowed that socialist integration sh*t and their white women, who he had. Did go to his funeral and as for Linton Kwesi Johnson another one of them with this so called radical integrationist ideology and white and Asian women disliked him even more than La Rose. Johnson's five minutes of fame went to his head and made him drunk.
But none theless the Third World and Radical Book fare which La Rose was instrumental in was and still is very important for numerous reasons. Plus New Beacon books was a pioneer and very good book shop and centre of radical publishing in Britain and elsewhere internationally.
