In this talk Dr. William (Lez) Henry will explain why it is crucial for Afrikans to have a clear understanding of the differences between the MAAFA of chattel enslavement and other forms of slavery. He will argue that without this knowledge we will not be able to appreciate why we are in our current global predicament and what must be done to protect our future. Therefore we must fight against the various, Government funded, WILBERFEST events that will take place throughout 2007, ‘celebrating’ the 200th anniversary of the end of the so called ‘slave trade’. All that is asked is that you bring your minds and make sure they are open!
