Please do not respond to or encourage debate with the racist troublemakers your come across on our site as this tends to steer debate away from issues we are discussing (which is the point of their provocation). Rather than do that, I ask you to contact one of the mods
Drunkmonkey, Backatya, LadyDay, Kunjufu, Happiness, Miss Brighter Days Blackbeauty, Breadfruit, Athaba, Free, Safetyblitz in PM and point us to the offensive or provocative post which one of us will remove.
Please note we are not online ALL the time nor do we see EVERY thread and we require your cooperation and help to keep the village a clean and constructive environment for us.
Fellow villagers...
BN is currently operarting a ZERO tolerance approach to nonsense posters. New members will be monitered closely..
It may seem as though we are being unfair at times but due to recent circumstances we have to get serious, apologies in advance for those decent regular members who may be treated harshly.
We have had an influx of non black posters here who have set out sneakily and openly to disrupt discussions and derail threads from what we are discussing. Provoking people with sneaky racism and their "challenging" views into being vexed with them and responding by being overtly racist. These infestors work by running and using US as an example of the racism they themselves aimed to stir up. We are no longer playing the game. We have strong reason to believe that many of these people were acting in concert with each other and coordinating their attacks on this site together from another site we are familiar with...
Suspicious posters will be removed without explaination and dubious posts deleted without discussion. If people object to their posts being removed then CONTACT A MOD. If you attempt to open moany threads they will be deleted and you will be ignored.
Please note: This extends to "black posters" and trouble makers here who do not abide by the village guidlines. It has been said before... there is an ethos here, it is not a free-for-all and you do not promote your nonsense under the guise of free speech, it is not free. It is what you agreed to as a member of the site.
Side note.
What happened last week when a certain poster took it upon herself to OUT people she dislikes and disagrees with as being white, fake, or whatever is UNACCEPTABLE. Starting threads to talk negatively about other people is considered by us to be harassment and will not be tolerated. If something concerns you, you contact US as the mods and we will deal with it...
which brings me on to the main point, I have raised this before.
We are NOT all seeing and everywhere in every thread. We need the help of responsible posters to point out the trouble makers (black and white). I cant stress how important this is folks, we need to clamp down on them before they get settled in to debates and arguments which amuse them... We need your help, I have to say at this point that some of you like Judge dredd have been good at this and always let us know when trouble makers are online and where they have posted.... Thanks for you guys...

Once again sorry for any inconvienience this may cause in the short run but for now this is a temporart measure and hopefully we can all carry in our irreverent and sponataneous fashion within these limits.

I'd just like to say that we too have had our share of racist agitators over the past few months. They Troll, they spam, and generally try to disrupt things.

Many thanks Lady Day. Glad you like the new look, sadly I haven't had the time to do as much work as I'd like to on the site.
I appreciate that the Forum might not be your cup of Tea, we are not as established as Blacknet.
I think that when I started using the Internet in 96 ...Blacknet was one of the Few sites out there for people of African Descent.
I will be improving the look and layout of the website in the near future and hopefully allow users to add historical data.
Hope to see some of your contributions.

You are correct Philgreg is a mod over at Blackpresence. However, the above quote is not Philgreg's. In his post he was simply quoting from BlackNet. That is what Kunjufu was trying to point out

Kunjufu was not refering to that quote, which you correctly stated, was from Ramii. It was the first quote in Abs post which she took as coming from Philgreg but in fact was not his, he just happened to re-quote it in his post. The comments (not the ones by Ramii, but the other ones) were made in a BlackNet post by someone else completely.....not Philgreg...............or Ramii.

 ... aww, my head hurts... how confusing!... I think I just about get it now, thanx @ Backatya... not that it actually concerned me like... i just got giddy at the thought of an undercover wide-up of epic proportions and stuck my big nose in... lol.. ... I need to get out...
... so this person and these thread titles are for real then?... what a shame... I think Abissina was correct to bring it up... it seems highly relevant (as well as somewhat contradictory) to Phil's point/assertions... but I accept reading things out of context creates biases in itself... does anyone know what the response was from the mods on Black presence?... how were Remmis comments received and dealt with?...
