both my mother and father are from , although on my mothers side her father 1/4 chinese, 1/4 indian and 1/2 black on my fathers side his father is 1/2 scottish and 1/2 black but all my grandparents are born in jamiaca, although i was born in england.

no, i think everything your saying is totally wrong asians are asians blacks are blacks and white people are white and dats never going to change. if what your saying its true that every other race decended from black people how come there's racisim towards us blacks even though i'm only twelve i know that what i'm saying is correct.

my parents are from ghana and so is my brother and sister but i was born in england and thats where were living. My grandma is something called foulanese say (ful-ar-nees) which means that your mixed with culture from the north of africa. so it means that....
i was born in england but im ghanian and im 1/8 of a culture from the north of africa.

My father is african. he is from the Seychelles (east africa island). there is also chinese heritage on my fathers side.
my mother is white. she is from the Uk.
i was born in the UK but i hold my Seychelles flag high!

im hyderabadi, telugu pride!!! im a southern indian. many of my ancestors were africans. from the last few centuries. so i have dravidian & african blood.
anyway i live in the uk. some im british. but i consider myself an afro-indian. 
btw: whats this hating on somalis? my african ancestors are from east africa. im interested in finding out more about my african ancestry. maybe some of the somalis here can send me a private message. i love everything black & african.

i'm nigerian, a west african. i was born and bred in england, but consider myself to be an african no compromise.
somali's are not black. they are africans, as are nigerians, ghanains, senegalese, kenyans etc.
somali's as other africans deserve a hell of alot more than to be disrespected. they are not 'black' they have a culture, language, religion, etc hence should not be labelled with some culturally benign and lazy term. i see that the 'are somali's black' is in someway suppossed to take away from them, make them some abstract 'other'', its shabby., and to the foold who have so much invested in te concept of 'black', itmenasn nothing mate, just 'of dark skin' and that doesn't even scratch the surface of my people our history and cultures.
