That's right...this is a dose of reality to the African Muslims who align themselves with the Palestinian and Arab causes more than their African brothers and sisters. This news cast is a bit old, but the message still pertinent.
The representative from the Palestinian newspaper tried to divert from the topic the best he could but only showed the ingrained racist psychology of Arab culture. The article not only caricaturized Condi Rice, but also repeatedly referred to her as "coloured" and "black" reportedly 15 times....
This is old man. We discussed this one when it first came out.
Personally I don't think its offencive at all. Forget why but I remember there was more to it than that, think the monkey is George bush or something.

I can only repeat: those people are NOT ethnically or racially Arab, they are Turks, and in some cases, various combinations of the conquering Greeks, Romans, Turks and the subjugated Black Arabs, Egyptians, Persians etc. If anyone would care to do some reading, they will find that even those people will say that in common modern usage; Arab is a generic term encompassing all Muslims in the Middle East: Since the conquest by the Ottoman Turks and the subsequent subjugation by the Albanian Turks under Muhammad Ali, Arab ceased to be a nationalist or ethnic term. As an example, the official name for Egypt is the Arab republic of Egypt.
