| your very into your roots and culture. Tell me this, The world is full of people colour. if we were all of one colour, will we not be the same. so in referecnce to africians and jamacians they are the same, so what is the argument.

I, too, have noticed that Black Americans have "genuine" and closer ties with West Indians even though we maintain separate cultures for the most part. Tribalism runs deep with many Africans and they don't seem to understand "mutual" respect. And therein lies the problem. Some of my Jamaican friends with relatives in the UK often speak of the conflicts which were exacerbated after that article by Dianne Abbott discussing her visit to Nigeria.
