Nah everyone was saying "Gwan Toyin" and stuff and posting newspaper clippings and I have done my research but I still don't know what a "Sorry" is going to achieve

I hear ya Incognito. But as a royalist, I am not condoning insulting our head of state to make a point.

If it were in Parliement, or House of Lords great but in a place of Worship no.

Ahh well I suppose the moral of the act was:

NOT !!!!

This is a protest that I can respect from a man I respect loads.

The security issue is something for them to worry about, we are not MI5. If he had been a terrorist he could have popped Queen and Blair though

Lucky he was not in the US as they would have shot him and asked questions later. If at all

Dada - I can well and see your point. Toyin is clearly passionate in his endeavours and I've always held a reservation that he is probably over passionate which could play havoc on his strategy but in the context of an insult, if showing how disrespected or insulted you feel is to show and give back that same disrespect and insult in equal magnitude, I shake Toyins hand...I can relate, I had to do a similar thing with the ex wife. Indeed the message is probably more a case of if you feel disrespected or insulted now, then magnify that a thousand times and then maybe, just maybe, you will begin to appreciate the disrespect and insult you have shown to my values, my pride my dignity and my ancestry.

Africans have been fighting for freedom and the abolition of slavery since the very first was enslaved...in its most basic concept this celebration is just another illustration of babylon trying to claim something stolen as their own to champion everything white. In his actions, his targeted audience and his message, Toyin was spot on!

I've had it to the teeth with people judging other people on their money as opposed to the values behind that money....this is where the wife failed big time. Protestors from different races all over the world will identify with Toyin as a protestor but only those sharing the values behind his protest will identify with him as a man.

Toyin gets full props from me and a big salute.

Though I couldn't see myself doing the same thing (for various reasons) I fully support the action he took and have heaps of respect for the man for continually showing his passion and belief in the 'Cause' and that he is not just a talker but a doer willing to lead by example.

To you Bro clp)clp)clp)clp)

Respect

@Kunjufu

I don't know if anyone knows but Toyin was released yesterday, and came straight to Kwakus Nubian Forum  Talkshow yesterday and told us what happened. He stayed till about 11.45pm.

According to Toyin, Henry Bonsu was not leading him out, in fact he was protecting him from the security guys, and others who were handling him roughly. According to Toyin only Henry Bonsu, and a lady named Pam were the only people who fully had his back. Toyin and Kwaku both bigged up Henry Bonsu after that.

(I know what you mean though because from the way they edited it, I originally thought Henry had  stabbed him in the back as well).

Toyin also mentioned how he verbally shut down that idiot... Pastor Nimms.

He also mentioned how the police didn't really treat him that bad, however he was kinda pissed off that certain criminals in the same jail as him were able to get in contact with their solicitors before him (considering he didn't even commit any crime).

Many people went to Charring Cross Police station to support tOYIN.

During the show, we had people texting in, and updating us on what was happening at the police station.

Many people even started to ring into the police station to make sure he was okay.

Well done Toyin for your actions. I bet the Queen and her Prince Phillip had a lot to talk about last night! With this and our complaints about the trident advert having an affect. I feel very happy today, I think we've turned a corner and hope for all of this type of activity to increase. We've let the piss be taken out of us for too long, 400 years to long!

I really wanted to thank you all for the love and support expressed from the village.
The level of emails and calls of solidarity from Africans across the world is incredible. :)

It would be good if some of us can go on other websites, radio phone in shows and express solidarity to debunk the 'lone madman' theory the media is putting out by distorting the facts and claiming that I ran, that I 'gatecrashed' the event, that I ranted, claimed I said I was being taken like a 'black slave' that I called our people 'traitors to the race', etc.

But people please, please keep an eye out for the coconuts, those who truly have the welfare of our people at heart will understand the need for unity at this time and will stand unequivocally beside me and defend my actions irrespective of massa seeking them to condemn Africans and be good little 'blacks'.

Trevor Philips, Simon Woolley and now John Sentamu have played their hand. Please be vigilant and report back any other descendants of those who were likely to have colluded with the British slavers during the Maafa.

What I did was nothing compared to the actions of Nanny, Boukman, Sam Sharpe, Queen Nzinga, Yaa Asantewaa, Malcolm X, the list goes on with the millions of African freedom fighters who lost their lives and endured the Maafa on the Continent, the Middle Passage and the forced labour camps in the Caribbean and Americas. The police asked me in the interview if I would do it again. I said if the circumstances were the same and they showed the same level of disrespect and contempt for our ancestors then YES I would.

Expect ideological warfare over the next few days.

We are only here because of our ancestors, they birth us, they guide us, and they will protect us in life and the hereafter.

Peace, love and revolution.

Toyin words cant even express brother......

What you did  will stay in my mind forever,I feel proud to know you...if only tenuously. For me what you did is on par with what many of our great warriors of yester-year did.

You take care of yourself...and I will be expressing my view about your actions via one or two mediums..of course it's in their interests to make you look like a "lone-wolf"..but we know what time it is.

I respect Henry Bonsu for supporting Toyin.

That was a noble thing of Him to do.

Will Toyin be doing the same thing in Ghana and Nigeria this year given what we know about Afrcian involvement in the Slave trade?

I believe Ghana is marking the Occasion but not sure if it's on Nigeria's radar.
