The CIA's Role in the Anthrax Mailings:Could Our Spies be Agents for Military-Industrial Sabotage, Terrorism, and Even Population Control? A Special Report By Leonard G. Horowitz, D.M.D. M.A. M.P.H.
On October 1, 2001-approximately two weeks before the first publicly announced anthrax mailing-Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials received an urgent warning from this author.(1) Government investigators were directed to consider the growing anthrax fright as the planned response to military-style propaganda. The American news media's coverage of anthrax, and subsequently the anthrax mailings, held many similarities to what military officials in previous years called psychological operations (PSYOPs) for command and control warfare (C2W). The primary objectives in this unique anthrax campaign appeared to be pharmaceuticals sales and forced "emergency" legislation effecting stringent population controls.
Broadcasters such as Peter Jennings on the ABC Nightly News (September 26, 2001) featured the Bayer pharmaceutical company's anthrax antibiotic Cipro, without mention of far less costly and risky alternatives to mass population prophylaxis. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advanced Cipro for anthrax along with a "Model State Emergency Health Powers Act" for generic bioterrorism response including forced drugging and certain vaccinations for anthrax and smallpox.(2)
Due to the panic and official endorsements, Cipro sales skyrocketed more than 1000%. At a single consumer prescription cost of $700 for a mere sixty-day supply, the resulting revenue helped rescue Bayer from the brink of bankruptcy.(3) Then, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Tommy Thompson rushed to spend millions more on a "special" Cipro contract in further defense of the nation's health.(4) By November, in the wake of the anthrax mailings, more than 30,000 panicked people in the United States were taking Cipro.(5) Unreported by the media was the grave likelihood that given Cipro's myriad side effects, and largely untested status, more people had died from taking the drug than the handful who had succumbed from the anthrax mailings.
Meanwhile, the deadly mailings-a form of serial homicide-had seemingly stumped our nation's most adroit sluths. From my perspective as a Harvard-trained behavioral scientist and public health authority with special expertise in media persuasion technologies, this apparent military-industrial PSYOPs was so obvious I felt compelled to report it to the FBI. It was, after all, my constitutional duty as an American citizen and public health professional to do so.
Between 1990 and 1993 I became familiar with the FBI's official methods and materials for investigating and solving such serial homicides. My ninth book, in fact, Deadly Innocence: The Kimberly Bergalis Case-Solving the Greatest Mystery in the Annals of American Medicine, dealt largely with the FBI's "motivational model" for serial homicide. I used it to evaluate the apparently intentional spread of an infectious agent-the AIDS virus (HIV)-by a Florida dentist in his effort to bring national media attention to his conclusion that the AIDS-virus, from which he was dying, was a government biological weapons laboratory creation. He believed that the genocidal weapon was subsequently distributed through contaminated vaccines. Prior to this book, I published three peer-reviewed scientific articles that employed the bureau's "motivational model." The core of the FBI's investigative protocol involved reviewing the developmental histories of their principle suspects, while analyzing their potential motives to best explain the murders. The same approach was indicated in the anthrax mailings investigation, I reckoned.(6)
It took approximately two months before my initial concerns regarding the Bayer corporation and Cipro sales scam were taken seriously. Not by federal investigators, mind you, but by a small portion of the national news media led by the Washington Times.(7)
On December 2 and 3, 2001, following numerous press releases sent to mainstream science reporters and news sources by our affiliated organizations and networks, the New York Times finally focused on the concerns I initially raised regarding the likelihood that U.S. military biological weapons contractors were the source of the anthrax-mailings.(8)
This article relays additional evidence that these criminal offenses are best explained by a relatively new treasonous form of military-industrial sabotage and terrorism in support of population control approaching economic genocide in support of the political pursuits of globalization. This conclusion is supported by massive evidence compiled in the prophetically titled book Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare (Tetrahedron, LLC, 2001; 1-888-508-4787) that preceded the horrible events of September 11, 2001, along with the public access reports cited herein.
While introducing a definitive 20-page referenced report on the anthrax mailings on December 10, 2001, that eventually reached close to 500,000 readers through the Internet, I wrote that "amazingly, despite generally perceived limitations on freedom of the press, enough truths are still told today to allow determined investigators and journalists to piece little known facts together to reflect broad, sociopolitical criminal realities." At that time I was unaware that in the days following that report several mainstream newspapers, including the Baltimore Sun, New York Times, and Washington Post, would be following my leads and additionally supporting my conclusions with the testimonies of many anonymous experts and officials who, like me, felt compelled to relay urgent truths in defense of the American people.
The following report provides important background on the suspects implicated in the anthrax mailings. As with every official FBI investigation of suspects in serial slayings, a review of the developmental histories of chief suspects was conducted while considering military-industrial sabotage and terrorism as a possible motive for the crime of sending anthrax through the mail. From this knowledge, chief suspects were identified, and a determination of the primary, if not sole, source of the mailed anthrax was made. The evidence strongly suggests a conspiracy to commit military-industrial sabotage, terrorism, and treason against America involving anthrax developers at the Battelle Memorial Institute and collaborating agents within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and/or national security system.
Background
On April 24, 1997, a package containing a Petri dish labeled "anthrachs" was received by the B'nai B'rith in Washington, D.C. According to researchers reporting in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists this triggered a new era in mailed anthrax hoaxes and threats. (9)
By February 1999, the CDC reported that seven major anthrax threats were recorded during a three month period in 1998. Perhaps not coincidentally, the same day this report was issued, the media reported four more incidents.(9)
Among the first to suspect military-industrial terrorism involving anthrax was Leonard A. Cole, a political scientist at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. He recalled that the letters claiming to contain anthrax, much like those in recent mailings to news sources, "arrived at the Washington Post and . . . at an NBC news office in Atlanta."
He, like many political observers, balked at the unprecedented announcement by Defense Secretary William Cohen on national television concerning a "5-pound bag of Domino sugar" the military official likened to powdered anthrax. Mr. Cole wrote that the "military's controversial decision to vaccinate U.S. troops against anthrax," gave the anthrax threat a "special cachet." I wrote, at that time, Mr. Cohen's behavior was virtually treasonous. After all, when in America's history had our military leader(s) publicized our nation's greatest attack vulnerabilities? A new military mentality, if not a form of psychological warfare, had obviously foreshadowed current events. In Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare,(10) the use of such "PSYOPs"-psychological operations-was predicted to facilitate severe curtailments of American civil liberties. Professor Cole editorialized that such threats of bioterrorism, "reportedly brandished by an assortment of 'rogue states,' helped the Pentagon, justify its still sizable post-Cold War military budget."
Might all of this reflect the officially heralded, though mostly classified, "Revolution in Military Affairs"?(11)
Within days of the anthrax hoax at the B'nai B'rith, FBI director Louis Freeh suddenly offered a very different view from that which had been previously expressed by leading military and intelligence officials regarding the risk of bioterrorism. The acquisition or use of biological weapons by individuals or terrorist groups, he stated, constituted "one of the gravest threats to the United States."(9)
Discerning the change in articulated official policy and its economic ramifications, Professor Cole lamented over the soaring bioterrorism budget-$1.4 billion at that time. "Even bioscientists who think the threat is exaggerated are reluctant to contradict officials who say it is 'only a matter of time' before one of the many anthrax alarms turns out to be real," he wrote.(9)
In a related article, Jonathan B. Tucker, director of the Chemical and Biological Weapons (CBW) Nonproliferation Project at Monterey Institute of International Studies, and his associate Amy Sands, director of the Monitoring Proliferation Threats Project at that Institute, discussed anthrax-related hysteria. They reflected on "the tendency of U.S. government officials to exaggerate the threat of chemical and biological terrorism" which they wrote was "reinforced by sensational reporting in the press and an obsessive fascination with catastrophic terrorism in Hollywood films, best-selling books, and other mainstays of pop culture." Had their writing not preceded the Hollywood production called "Wag the Dog" they might have modified their dismal view of "Tinseltown" truth-tellers.(12)
Likewise, in the Washington Post (March 16, 1999), science policy analyst Daniel S. Greenberg criticized what he called "a whiff of hysteria-fanning and budget opportunism in the scary scenarios of the saviors who have stepped forward against the menace of bioterrorism. . . . While a gullible press echoes [their] frightening warnings, there are no independent assessments of the potential for terrorist attacks or the practicality of the proposed responses."(12)
Indeed, these scholarly assessments foreshadowed today's news headlines concerning the official origin of the mailed anthrax-reports that seriously implicate military defense contractors, if not government officials themselves. What many may wish to believe is an appropriate National Security response to threatened bioterrorist attacks, is best explained by the words on the back of every dollar bill-"Novo Ordo Seclorum." Without entertaining broad conspiracy theories, current events demonstrate a "New World Order" is certainly evolving from militarily managed chaos.
Investigating the Primary Suspects
Background on the Anthrax Vaccine Maker-Bioport
1. In March 16, 1999, Robert C. Myers, DVM, Chief Operating Officer of BioPort-America's only anthrax vaccine maker-appealed to a Senate Appropriations Committee for urgent funding for both anthrax and smallpox vaccines. In 1996, in his own words, he "was part of a team of organizations, led by Battelle Memorial Institute, which came together to compete for the [Department of Defense's Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program] JVAP. Despite there being dozens of potential bioterrorist threats, Dr. Myers stated these two threats were the greatest since anthrax is easy to handle and "because smallpox is highly contagious and probably most of the world is now susceptible. . . ." He also testified, "Suppose we have a smallpox vaccine stockpile and a manufacturing capability. . . . Funding for adequate security must be included in this program if the threat is to be optimally minimized. Included in these security measures and to prevent against natural disaster, there should be two or more geographical separate manufacturing facilities and two or more facilities for storage of the manufactured vaccine." He further stated that few companies wished to become involved in the production of anthrax and smallpox vaccines due to the high expense and risks involved in research and development. Today, the only other companies linked to smallpox vaccine production include Baxter, Aventis (Hoechst-Rhone Poulenc subsidiary) OraVax/Acambis, and Fort Dodge Animal Health as detailed in the accompanying flow chart.(13)
2. The preceding year (September 1998), Bioport Corporation took over a failing anthrax vaccine business from state-owned Michigan Biologic Products Institute. Less than a month later, the company landed an exclusive $29 million contract with the Department of Defense to "manufacture, test, bottle and store the anthrax vaccine." Admiral William J. Crowe, Jr., a former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and close personal aid to President Clinton, with no financial investment of his own, received 22.5% of Bioport's stock to promote, secure, and manage military anthrax vaccine contracts.(14)
3. Bioport's principal investor was Saudi business man Fuad El-Hibri-a close friend of the bin Laden family, and a previous merger and acquisitions manager for the Rockefeller-linked Citigroup in New York.(14,15)
According to some investigators,(16) additional Bioport shares were believed to be held by The Carlyle Management Group-America's 11th leading defense contractor largely directed by past CIA director Frank Carlucci, James Baker III, George H.W. Bush, and former British Prime Minister John Major.
4. According to the Associated Press, Past President George H.W. Bush acts as a business agent for the Carlyle Group and wealthy Saudi families including the bin Ladens.(17)
Journalist Ian Gurney provided additional evidence linking Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network to Bioport in a report issued over the Internet on December 19, 2001. According to the original story published on December 1, by the P*kistan News Service, documents originating from the US Defense Department that referred to Bioport, Inc. were found in the possession of the al-Qaeda in Kabul, Afghanistan. The documents contained highlighted items and stars scribbled across the top of one page. According to Bioport spokeswoman Kim Brennen Root, "The document was a report on the environmental impact of renovations to our Lansing, Michigan plant, not a 'how-to' manual on making the vaccine." The Bioport official surmised, "The discovery supports the notion that the al-Qaeda and the Taliban have been studying biological warfare and protecting against weapons of mass destruction," despite the greater likelihood that Osama bin Laden, in light of the above revelations-his family's investments in the Carlyle Group and ties to Bioport principle Fuad El Hibri-desired to keep tabs on their alleged Bioport investments.(18)
5. According to Forensic Intelligence International investigator Dr. Stephen P. Dresch, in a report submitted to Henry J. Hyde, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations, two suspicious deaths of biological weapons experts, Larry C. Ford and Vladimir Pasenchnik, may reflect the criminal mentality and behavior of principle suspects in the anthrax mailings investigation, especially those with direct links to Bioport-a virtual front for the British oligarchy controlled Porton Down establishment. (See side bar detailing "Mysterious Deaths.")
6. From 1998 to the present, Bioport has successfully negotiated through a steady storm of controversy and illegalities to secure ongoing defense contracts and government endorsements for anthrax vaccine.(14,15,19) On December 19-20, The New York Times reported that Bioport's vaccine was being offered by government officials to civilians possibly exposed to the mailed anthrax. In response, Connecticut Republican Representative Christopher Shays articulated the opposition's concern regarding the general danger for people "to take a vaccine that hasn't been approved by the FDA and that was made in a plant that hasn't been approved either."(19)
Background on Anthrax Antibiotic Maker-Bayer
7. In July 2000, Germany's Bayer AG negotiated an unprecedented sole endorsement by the FDA of the antibiotic Cipro for anthrax, despite the drug's high risk, high price, and largely untested status.(7) Shortly thereafter, USA Today reported a study of conflicting interests on the FDA advisory committees endorsing drug policies. Author Dennis Cauchon wrote that between January 1, 1998 and June 30, 2000, during 92% of the 159 meetings, "at least one member had a financial conflict of interest. At 55% of meetings, half or more of the FDA advisers had conflicts of intrest. Conflicts were most frequent at the 57 meetings when broader issues were discussed: 92% of members had conflicts. At the 102 meetings dealing with the fate of a specific drug, 33% of the experts had a financial conflict."(20) Given this background, it is most reasonable to speculate that the FDA's unprecedented sole antibiotic endorsement of Bayer's largely untested and outrageously expensive Cipro for anthrax likewise reflected special and grossly conflicting of financial interest.
8. During the 1980s, Bayer AG and Baxter Healthcare both marketed blood clotting factor VIII. Both firms were found guilty of knowingly transmitting the AIDS virus (HIV) to more than 7,000 American hemophiliacs. Both firms settled out of court for what amounted to economically motivated genocide.(21)
9. World War II military background on Bayer: Company President, Hermann Schmitz, also directed Germany's leading industrial organization-I.G. Farben. He was found guilty at Nuremberg trials for running Nazi concentration labor camps. He merely served four years in prison. According to CBS News war correspondent Paul Manning, Schmitz held more shares of Rockefeller Standard Oil Co. stock than the Rockefellers. Farben's principle partner, the Rockefellers, profited greatly from World War II. A Federal Court judgment cited the Standard Oil Co. as America's "Enemy National," that is, a "traitor." Bayer was blacklisted at that time by the U.S. Federal Government.(22)
10. During the late 1940s, I.G. Farben was "decartelized" by the Allied High Commission led by America's John J. McCloy-a Philadelphia banker and lawyer with intimate ties to Rockefeller oil and banking interests. Farben stockholders received equal shares of Bayer, Hoechst, and BASF stock.(10,22,23)
Related Smallpox Vaccine Makers-American Home Products/Baxter and Fort Dodge, Hoechst/Aventis/Oravax-Acambis
11. American Home Products (AHP) was formed in 1926 but evolved largely under the same direction as Bayer, Hoechst and BASF, that is, from I.G. Farben/Rockefeller financial interests according to cancer investigator and author G. Edward Griffin.(24) During WWII, Ayerst Laboratories joined AHP and Wyeth International Limited was formed. This company went on to "perfect" the smallpox vaccine according to company promotions.(25)
12. The Genetics Institute, an offshoot of the Rockefeller initiated and dominated genetics industry, is a biotech research unit of AHP/Wyeth-Ayerst. The Institute contributes to Baxter's product line of genetically engineered products, as does AHP, including the smallpox vaccine.(10,26,27)
13. Aventis Pharma, with headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany-coincidentally the home of I.G. Farben and the post-war CIA-was formed by Hoechst AG and Rhone-Poulenc S.A. during their merger in 1999. American headquarters of the company not far from Trenton, NJ in Bridgewater.(28)
14. The politically powerful Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) is directed by Aventis's CEO Richard Markham. Mr. Markham is also Chairman of the Task Force on Emergency Preparedness that meets regularly with Bush administration officials. The Bayer and Merck companies are also heavily represented in PhRMA and its bioterrorism task force.(28) (Merck should be recalled as the primary recipient of the Nazi "flight capital" on August 10, 1944 at the time the company's president, George W. Merck, was America's biological weapons industry director.(29) According to Paul Manning, who credited CIA director Allen Dulles for his intelligence and guidance in Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile, the "flight capital scheme" assured the rise of the Fourth Reich, alternatively called the "Neuordnung"-New Order, for the global petrochemical-pharmaceutical and banking cartels, according to Farben documents discussed by Manning and others.(22,30)
15. One example of the steady stream of incestuous mergers and acquisitions within the IG Farben/Rockefeller cartel, is American Cyanamid's purchase by AHP in 1994. American Cyanamid is infamous for producing, through Lederle Labs, monkey cancer virus contaminated polio vaccines linked to several contemporary human cancer epidemics.(29) AHP then sold its Cyanamid Agricultural Products business, including carcinogenic pesticides said to reduce the spread of the West Nile virus, to BASF Aktiengesellschaft in June 2000.(31)
Current Events Potentially Impacting the Anthrax Mailing Investigation
16. PhRMA officials have met regularly and illegally with Bush administration officials under the auspices of "emergency preparedness" according to The Public Citizen in November, 2001. Multi-million dollar drug and vaccine contracts have emerged from these mostly secret meetings that violate the Federal Advisory Committee Act-a transparency law enacted to protect consumers against closed-door dealings between government and special interests.(32)
17. The BBC and London's leading Sunday newspaper, The Guardian, reported (Nov. 7, 2001) that the Bush administration, through the CIA, hog-tied the FBI in their investigations linking Bush family and bin Laden family investments, including commonly held stock in the Carlyle Management Group. This may have profoundly suppressive implications affecting the indicated investigations of Bioport and Battelle Labs for this and other reasons cited below.(33)
18. Based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Aventis Pharma AG sought and received a lucrative smallpox vaccine order from the U.S. government. Along with Bayer, Hoechst, and Merck & Co. all four firms have major plants within 45-minutes drive of Trenton, NJ where most of the anthrax mailings originated. Aventis's European operations are jointly (50:50) owned by Merck & Co.(34)
19. Aventis collaborates with Oravax/Acambis to produce enough smallpox vaccine for the federal government's large order, and fulfills Bioport's Chief Operating Officer, Robert Myers's recommendations to the U.S. Congress that his company, and at least one other, be able to produce critical anthrax and smallpox vaccines. The Aventis/Acambis 20-year contract, awarded by the CDC, is worth approximately $343 million for a 40-million dose stockpile.(13, 34, 35)
20. Acambis-evolved from OraVax-allied with Baxter Heathcare to produce smallpox and West Nile virus vaccines. Aventis fully funds the OraVax/Acambis dengue fever vaccine and subsidizes other joint ventures. Months before 9-11, the CDC awarded Acambis a 20-year contract to develop a new smallpox vaccine.(36)
Apparent Origin of the Weaponized Anthrax-The Chief Suspects
21. In April, 1998, OraVax/Acambis Vice President, Dr. Thomas Monath met with President Clinton, New York's Emergency Management Director, Jerry Hauer, Rockefeller University president emeritus and American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) curator, Dr. Joshua Lederberg, CIA Director John Deutsch, and government biological weapons expert William C. Patrick, III, to discuss/negotiate the first of several multimillion dollar anthrax, smallpox, and West Nile virus vaccine contracts. According to New York Times reporters William Broad and Judith Miller,(37) "seven scientists endorsed the stockpile…." These included "two men who stood to gain financially from the decision. . . ." These men included Dr. Monath and Dr. J. Craig Venter, president of The Institute for Genomic Research near Washington working on anthrax genetics. "The apparent consensus on acquiring vaccines masked deep divisions among scientists and military officials," according to the Times reporters.(10,37)
22. Around the same time, according to New York Times reporter William Broad,(8) William C. Patrick, III, was commissioned to compile a report for an undisclosed government contractor concerning the ramifications of mailing aerosolizable anthrax. In an earlier report,(8) investigators Broad and Miller cited the published paper of Dr. Barbara Hatch Rosenberg, a "private expert in biological weapons," in which she contended "that a government insider, or someone in contact with an insider, . . ." was responsible for the mailed anthrax. "One official close to the federal investigation called the Rosenberg theory 'the most likely hypothesis,'" according to the New York Times article. Given this most credible theory, obvious suspects among the government "insiders" with economic and/or political motives to mail anthrax for military-industrial espionage related outcomes are Bioport-sole maker of the anthrax vaccine; allied smallpox vaccine makers OraVax/Acambis, Baxter, Aventis, Bayer-the anthrax antibiotic profiteer; and most importantly the principle government and U.S. military contractor-Batelle Memorial Institute's Chemical and Biological Information Analysis Center with bioweapons research, development, and testing labs in West Jefferson, Ohio and Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah. Astonishingly, a photograph of the specific building in which the Ames strain of hyper-weaponized powdered anthrax was tested appears courtesy of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) from one of their educational slide presentations. This photo further establishes, as detailed in BMI's operations description, the direct association between the Dugway Proving Grounds "Life Sciences Facilities" and BMI's "Aerosol Engineering & Biological Sciences Facilities." Battelle's "Defense Enterprise Integration Services" and their logo apparently reflects the secret coding system used by the British oligarchy's MI6, their Secret Service.
23. Most heavily implicated is Battelle and Bioport, both of which maintain financial and administrative links to highest level U.S. National Security officials, top government "defense" agencies in the United States and Britain, the DoD's "Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program," and the manufacture of the anthrax vaccine domestically and in the U.K. Based on a September 7, 2001 Associated Press report, a "new strain" of extremely lethal anthrax had been under development before September 2001, by an unnamed U.S. biological weapons contractor. This fit William Patrick's report in which he "said the American [anthrax] program had achieved a concentration of one trillion spores per gram." How was William Patrick privy to this classified intelligence unless he had consulted, or worked, on the development? According to William Broad's New York Times article,(3) this concentration of the Ames, IA strain of anthrax was unprecedented throughout the world. Even the Soviets were unable to produce weaponized anthrax concentrated beyond 500 billion spores per gram according top Russian anthrax expert (employed by the CIA) Dr. Kanatjan Alibekov (alias, "Ken Alibek"). No one else had come close to describing such concentrated anthrax powder. Given this astonishing difference alone, the FBI should have been able to quickly determine the few, if not single, U.S. military bioweapons contractor(s) capable of this unprecedented feat simply by interrogating William Patrick. Facetiously, I reported to my radio audience on the World Wide Christian Network on December 3, 2001, this tip may be worth $1 million according to the New York Times.(40)
24. Keenly related, First Amendment Press investigator Christopher Williams, determined that a recent U.S. military project to develop this advanced type of weapons-grade anthrax was reported by the Associated Press. In the article, Russian munitions expert Alexander Gorbovsky voiced his government's concerns regarding the increased threat posed by the obviously active U.S. biological weapons program-a program that according to all mainstream media reports had dead with President Nixon's signing of the 1925 Geneva Accord in 1969. So much for accurate reporting! (Emerging Viruses: AIDS and Ebola-Nature, Accident or Intentional? also reviews the Frank Church Congressional investigation into the CIA's illegal storage and testing of biological weapons during the 1970s. Reprinted herein is a 1975 document from the Director of Central Intelligence that shows 100 grams of Bacillus anthracis was illegally maintained by the agency.)(29) In early December 2000, an anonymous source at the Pentagon told Mr. Williams that Battelle's anthrax program was referred to as "Project Jefferson." Further research by Williams revealed Battelle Memorial Institute's laboratories in West Jefferson, Ohio had been contracted for this purpose.(41)
This operation was ongoing around the same time U.S. military anthrax specialist William Patrick's report on the ramifications of mailed anthrax powder, commissioned by an unidentified "contractor"-apparently Battelle-was being completed.(8) In other words, that was why Patrick was privy to this classified intelligence.
25. According to admitted CIA consultant and exposed bioterror-propagandist Richard Preston,(29) William Patrick and "Ken Alibek" were very "close friends!"(42) Moreover, both leading anthrax experts held classified consulting contracts with the CIA. In this article, Preston revealed that Alibek, besides using CIA provided VISA cards, was then working at the Battelle Memorial Institute (BMI).
BMI, according to its website (http://www.battelle.org/nationsecurity/), is a virtual one-stop-shopping-center for U.S. and foreign militaries, the Department of Energy, the national security industries and the agencies, organizations, and institutions evaluating every major aspect of modern methods of population and environmental control and warfare. With nearly $1 billion of business volume annually, Battelle's 7,500 scientists, engineers and support specialists, have designed and developed a wide variety of innovations from the uranium used in the top secret "Manhattan Project" of WWII to the Xerox copying process. In addition to their voluminous research, development, and testing activities, this private institute co-manages America's most secret enterprises including the DoE's Brookhaven National Laboratory, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Oak Ridge Laboratory, and fully manages several others including the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Their two biological level-3 "Aerosol Engineering & Biological Sciences Facilities" in West Jefferson, Ohio appear in photographs on a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) promotions slide at http://www.nrel.gov/surviving disaster/fema2000/Cbiac/sld016.htm.
The BMI/Department of Energy combined web page explained (on 12/7/01 at http://battelle.org/doe/natsecurity.stm; get it while you can!) that Battelle's "National Security" contract called for the administration of Brookhaven's "chemical/biological stand-off detection technology" for which New York City was selected for an "interagency chemical exercise." Moreover, this test was conducted sometime prior to the new Millennium. Therefore, it would have involved Jerry Hauer, additionally linking Battelle's chemical and biological warfare testing program to the industrialists that met in the Clinton White House in 1998 to discuss, highly suspiciously, vaccine provisions for the impending West Nile virus outbreak that occurred the following year for the first time in history.(10)
Battelle's "Aerosol Engineering and Biological Defense Science" description relays their unequaled ability to develop, test, evaluate, and modify a variety of biological agent detection systems, as well as the agents themselves. This is done, they say, "for the Joint Services including BL-3 [i.e., biological safety level of containment] operations." While superficially publicizing their unique qualifications and activities in the realm of chemical and biological weapons "defense," detailed disclosures here are classified. Relating to their apparent development of the highly weaponized strain of anthrax in question, they reported their "Aerosol Science and Technology (AS&T) group develops lab experimental and field test procedures for . . . point-source emissions and the transport and atmospheric fate of aerosols by means of modeling and field assessments for industrial process." Thus, the government "contractor" for whom anthrax expert William Patrick wrote his mailed anthrax aerosol dispersal assessment could have only been Battelle for whom "Ken Alibek" worked; Robert Myers, Bioport's Chief Operating Officer affiliated; and Jerry Hauer in New York's emergency management helped facilitate tests. All of these suspects (except Alibek), played roles in the Department of Defense's Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program that was accelerated due to the anthrax mailings and national fright they caused.
From December 11 to the 20th, 2001 Tetrahedron, LLC e-mailed the above information implicating BMI in the production of the mailed anthrax to more than 8,700 members of the national news media, 1,500 FBI agents, most members of Congress, and more than 400,000 Americans. Eventually, as days passed, William Broad at the New York Times and writers for the Associated Press picked up on the Battelle lead, as did the FBI.
On December 20, 2001, ABC News reported that the FBI was "now interviewing current and former scientists [at Dugway] in Utah and at the second secret anthrax-producing facility, Battelle in Columbus, Ohio, a nonprofit corporation that does the work for the CIA and the military."(44)
The next day, the Washington Post reported that the primary thesis I had urged the FBI to immediately investigate on October 1, 2001, more than a week before the anthrax letters were sent from Trenton, was finally being taken seriously.(45)
In summary, there are several serious indicators that the source of the anthrax weapon used in the mailings was the Ames, Iowa strain of silica-impregnated and electro-statically charged anthrax produced by the Battelle Memorial Institute under their classified CIA and Defense Department "Project Jefferson." This hyper-weaponized germ was likely produced with the help (or under the direction) of Dr. Alibekov and/or Dr. Patrick. The fact that these Battelle agents and affiliated agencies gained financially as a result of the anthrax mailings and public fright fits the parameters of a conspiracy to commit military-industrial sabotage, terrorism, and serial homicide approaching economic genocide.
Additional Suspects and/or Accessories to the Crime
26. Another vaccine producer, located in Ames, Iowa-Fort Dodge Animal Health (FDAH)-must not be overlooked. (Again, the Ames, Iowa strain of anthrax was determined to be the specific type of anthrax, super-weaponized at apparently the Battelle Memorial Institute's labs, then transported to, and mailed by someone who held high level U.S. National Security clearance.) Originally called the Ames Vaccine Company, the firm was acquired by American Home Products (AHP) in 1945, suggesting at this time the company's evolution and/or financing, like Bayer, Hoechst, Baxter, and Merck/Aventis, from the I.G. Farben/Rockefeller cartel's "flight capital." Ames's FDAH developed numerous "first" animal vaccines including Lyme, parvovirus, feline leukemia, Mycoplasma, and suspiciously the West Nile virus vaccine falsely reported by the media to have been solely produced by OraVax/Acambis. FDAH is the third largest animal health products manufacturer in the U.S.(46)
27. The National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL), also uniquely located in Ames, Iowa, is a USDA administered entity linked by unique location and common interest in West Nile virus and anthrax research and developments to the FDAH. The NVSL reported the first West Nile virus infection in a horse in Florida. Subsequent investigations showed no infected mosquitoes or "WNV-positive pools" by Florida investigators.(47,48) Nonetheless, the news media "wagged the dog" for West Nile vaccine sales once again benefiting FDAH and the Hoechst/Merck/Aventis and OraVax/Acambis partnerships.(47)
28. The NY Times reported on September 9, 2001 that the FBI investigation of anthrax mailings was stymied.(49) What else might be expected given the classified nature of this work and its operatives? Most are afforded protection by the National Security Agency and the CIA. Yet, stunningly, the FBI and CDC were blamed for destroying critical evidence. According to the report, the Ames, Iowa strain of anthrax, determined to be the one mailed from Trenton to Florida and Washington's capitol, had been suspiciously selected for destruction.(49,50) Iowa State officials suddenly confessed that they were ordered by CDC and FBI officials to destroy all of the remaining Ames, Iowa anthrax strain on or about October 8-9. The strain archive was then "destroyed on Oct. 10 and 11."
That means, as national attention was first focusing on the American Media, Inc.'s initial anthrax cases in Florida on October 7, and as the anthrax letters to Senators Daschle and Leahy were being mailed in Trenton on October 9, orders to destroy that particular strain were issued by FBI and CDC officials. This strongly suggests a conspiracy at the highest levels of the federal government.
Incriminating is the fact that this one strain, of more than 1,000 anthrax strains available, had been used in various labs for decades. Allegedly by mistake, these two agencies-the FBI and CDC-simultaneously urged/approved the strain's destruction.
It should be recognized that by April, 2000, the CIA assumed all oversight at the CDC, and other health science agencies, concerning HIV/AIDS and potentially other infectious diseases considered national security risks.(51) Following 9-11, this CIA oversight of the government's top infectious disease research laboratories clearly included anthrax and smallpox.
Again, according to FBI and military officials interviewed by the BBC and The Guardian's Greg Palast (33), Bush administration officials and the CIA had blocked FBI investigations involving terror group financiers with ties to the Bush and bin Laden families, and by extension the vaccine makers with whom they held mutual investments. If assertions by anonymous sources and independent investigators are correct, that is, if there is a real association between the Carlyle Management Group and Bioport, or if additional links between the Bush family and the British oligarchy that control Bioport's principle owner Porton Down can be determined, the FBI's inefficacy in solving the anthrax mailings mystery is thus reconciled. This would, of course, implicate highest level officials at the FBI as well as the CDC.
According to the Washington Post, by December 21, 2001, the FBI had still not investigated Porton Down for possible culpability in the anthrax mailings despite the fact they maintained the identical Ames strain of anthrax, and through ownership in Bioport was connected with BMI and the DoD's lucrative "Joint Vaccine Acquisitions Program."(45)
29. On November, 9, the New York Times also reported that FBI investigators in search of anthrax mailing clues were refused access to certain pharmaceutical companies. These undisclosed companies were said to require court orders for official access to their facilities. No such court orders were subsequently reported.(50)
30. The American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) supplies most of the anthrax globally for research and biological weapons development. They supplied Saddam Hussein with 19 shipments of anthrax in the years leading up to the Gulf War. Their V.P., Nancy Wysocki, reported working closely with the FBI on their investigation.(50)
Dr. Joshua Lederberg, previously reported to have met with vaccine industry and Clinton administration officials regarding in preparation for the West Nile virus outbreak of 1999, was ATCC's director during the time anthrax was shipped to Iraq. He is also the bioterrorism study group leader for the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), largely directed by David Rockefeller, and President emeritus of Rockefeller University.(10) Bioport's C.E.O. Fuad El Hibri, again, had been previously employed by Rockefeller controlled Citibank.
The heavily Rockefeller-influenced CFR is a chief U.S. Government policy analysis and advisory organization composed of 3,600 mostly wealthy industrialists and banking and media officials.
In his "Farewell Address to the Nation," on January 17, 1961, President Dwight D. Eisenhower's counsel was highly relevant to this discussion. He warned: "In the councils of Government [intimating the CFR], we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes."(10)
With much evidence casting shadows of suspicion on the Rockefeller family's financial and historic ties to key administrators and organizations under investigation in the anthrax-mailings (e.g., Hoechst, Bayer, Baxter, and Merck) their bondage to the CIA, especially implicated in this investigation, should not be overlooked. In Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola-Nature, Accident or Intentional?, I reviewed a mountain of evidence linking Rockefeller family members and businesses to the CIA, its chief officials and nefarious functions. More recently, in Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare, the Rockefeller family's dominant role in directing American public health policies and programs, and the bio-medical industry since the early 1900s, along with their financial and political ties to the European oligarchy, intelligence community, and banking industry is detailed. Again, as mentioned above in items 9 and 10, Rockefeller investments, if not oversight and direction, of the leading vaccine and drug companies currently under investigation by the FBI, along with their global political influence, must not be overlooked in both the etiology of this disorder (what appears to be well-managed chaos) and the ineffective FBI investigation of the suspects.
31. The multinational nature of this crime, and the criminal(s) behind it is clearly indicated by the current findings. All evidence point to the anthrax mailings being a "white collar crime"-a military-industrial conspiracy involving chief pharmaceutical and/or "preparedness" firms along with the CIA. This conclusion is evidenced by the highly weaponized nature of the silica powdered anthrax that required a bioweapons savvy microbiologist and expensive equipment to produce. Also, the mailed anthrax letters originated from Trenton, New Jersey, St. Petersburg, Florida and Malaysia-reflecting international financial motive(s). Additional support for this hypothesis comes from an Atlanta package shipped to Kenya on October 9, 2001.(52) The sender was not implicated. Apparently, an agent with access to this private mail, along with Battelle's classified military grade anthrax preparation and program, somehow inoculated the parcel. Again, Atlanta is home to the CIA-officiated CDC.
32. The FBI's investigation of drug makers for "possible financial motives," according to the Washington Post,(45) might best begin with Bayer AG. The company posted $165 million in losses during the third quarter of 2001, according to the Associated Press.(53) Was this sufficient motive for the "wag the dog Cipro sales scam" reported first by this author and later published by the Washington Times?(7) Probably not, because there was far more money and political concessions to be made from the anthrax fright than this.(32)
33. On November 9, 2001, The Guardian reported that U.S. health secretary Tommy Thompson asked Congress for $500 million for enough smallpox vaccine "so every American will be assured there is a dose with his or her name on it if it is needed."(54)
Only weeks earlier the HHS secretary said he had worked a "special" deal with Bayer to purchase 100 million tablets of Cipro for 95 cents each.(55) This, despite equally effective and better tested alternatives, such as doxycyclines, were more readily available for less than five cents each.(56)
Within weeks the New York Times announced that between $1.5-3.2 billion was to be spent "largely on drugs and vaccines" to fight bioterrorism in the United States.(57)
Finally, on November 23, 2001, the New York Times reported that Aventis Pharma of Frankfurt, Germany had developed a promising pharmaceutical formula for smallpox-"cidofovir and a chemical known as S2242." Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), "told a Senate committee last month that 'the animal model data are very impressive. . ."(58) Dr. Fauci is America's AIDS czar, under direct oversight by the CIA. He was heavily implicated by this author in Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola-Nature, Accident or Intentional? (Tetrahedron, LLC Press, 1998) for having helped suppress awareness that the NIAID helped Germany's Merck pharmaceutical company develop the 1974 hepatitis B vaccine given to gay men in NYC and Blacks in Central Africa that according to much scientific evidence was the specific vaccine that triggered the international AIDS pandemic.(59)
Summary and Closing Questions
"One should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything," urged William of Occam in providing his "Razor" analysis. This report seeks to do the same by simplifying the correlates and antecedents to serial homicide in the anthrax mailing mystery. This analysis is based on the FBI's official model of analyzing suspects' developmental histories and potential motives in such cases.
The foregoing analysis recognizes the highly unsavory developmental histories of central suspects in this case-those who stood to gain most by the extensive news coverage of the anthrax crimes-investors in pharmaceutical and vaccine firms.
In conclusion, this report characterizes the unique U.S. military weapons grade of anthrax developed from the Ames, Iowa strain that was used in the mailings and the organization most capable of making and distributing it. Given several incriminating associations and documented testimonies published in reputable periodicals, this author, supported by evidence advanced by Christopher Williams, was the first to determine the logical origin of this extraordinarily deadly form of aerosolizable anthrax-the Battelle Memorial Institute. This allegedly nonprofit multi-national military technology leader employed affiliated anthrax experts additionally linked to the CIA and implicated drug and vaccine companies.
Although several contractors are under suspicion for what might best be called "military-industrial sabotage, terrorism, and serial homicide" the accompanying flow chart depicts the primary suspects are linked to the high levels within the CIA, the Bush administration, and the British government. All of these powers operate with little to no effective judicial oversight. This, then, is the likeliest explanation as to why the FBI's investigation has been slow and inconclusive.
Given the political ramifications and outcomes of the anthrax mailings, economic incentives were unlikely the sole motive for the crimes. On October 31, 2001, The Boston Globe heralded an unprecedented CDC initiative that is pledged to dramatically suspend civil rights in the event of a declared biological emergency. The "Model State Emergency Health Powers Act" was reported to give public health officials and states governors the power to arrest, transport, quarantine, drug, and vaccinate anyone suspected of carrying a broadly-defined potentially-infectious disease. The plan (available for downloading from http://www.publichealthlaw.net/MSEHPA/MSEHPA.pdf.) is precisely the type of document that Battelle Memorial Institute's public policy and social service providers, including leading academicians, periodically compose. The fact that their website promotes the institute's pioneering role in marshalling America's upcoming public health response to future outbreaks is chillingly Machiavellian. Based on the above information, basic questions for serious investigators might include:
1) Who in the Battelle Institute's Jefferson labs had access to the optimally concentrated aerosolized, silica-based, Ames strain of anthrax, and who transported it to Trenton, New Jersey and elsewhere to be mailed?
2) Who in the CIA was assigned to oversee or participate in this classified biological weapons, or bioterrorism, "defense" operation, and who, if anyone in the agency (as with Battelle personnel), had the wherewithal and matching itinerary to effect the anthrax mailings in Trenton, St. Petersburg, Atlanta, and Malaysia.
3) Who at Battelle coordinated the Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program, and might they have held conflicting interests in the company (Bioport or companies) that stood to gain most financially by the acquired vaccines and/or anthrax fright.
4) Who in the Bush administration ordered, according to the BBC and The Guardian, the CIA to clamp down on FBI investigations linking bin Laden family assets to Bush family investments,
5) Who in the FBI received and carried out these suppressive orders, and what role, if any, did they play in stalling or misdirecting the anthrax mailings investigation.
6) Is America at risk and under attack from within our own secretive national security system, possibly more than it is from foreign entities and terrorist groups?
7) Could British agents, agencies and companies be involved with Bush administration officials and the CIA in directing a virtual coop in the United States in keeping with neo-colonialism, globalization, and related geopolitical agendas?
If we were able to accurately answer these questions, the revelations-no less extraordinary than the data and conclusions presented in this report-might serve as a basis upon which to rethink and redirect our national defense initiatives, public health policies, and several pressing wars, including the "War on Terrorism," "War on Drugs," "War on Crime," and "War on AIDS."

The History of the Development of AIDS
Chapter Excerpt from “State Origin: The Evidence of the Laboratory Birth of AIDS�

The true history of the origin of AIDS can be traced throughout the 20th Century and back to 1878. On April 29 of that year the United States passed a “FEDERAL QUARANTINE ACT�.
The United States began a significant effort to investigate “causes� of epidemic diseases. In 1887, the effort was enhanced with the mandate of the U.S. “LABORATORY OF HYGIENE�. This lab was run by Dr. Joseph J. Kinyoun, a deep rooted-racist, who served the eugenics movement with dedication.
Two years later, 1889, we were able to identify “mycoplasmas�, a transmissible agent, that is now found at the heart of human diseases, including (AIDS) HIV.
In 1893, we strengthened the Federal Quarantine Act and suddenly there was an explosion of polio.
In 1898, we knew we could use mycoplasma to cause epidemics, because we were able to do so in cattle, and we saw it in tobacco plants.
In 1899, the U.S. Congress began investigating “leprosy in the United States�.
In 1902, We organized a “Station for Experimental Evolution� and we were able to identify diseases of an ethnic nature.
In 1904, we used mycoplasma to cause an epidemic in horses.
In 1910, we used mycoplasma to cause an epidemic in fowl/birds.
In 1917, we formed the “Federation of the American Society for Experimental Biology� (FASEB).
In 1918, the influenza virus killed millions of unsuspecting. It was a flu virus modified with a bird mycoplasma for which human primates had no “acquired immunity�.
In 1921, lead eugenics philosopher, Betrand Russell, publicly supported the “necessity for “organized� plagues� against the Black population.
In 1931, we secretly tested African Americans and we tested AIDS in sheep.
In 1935, we learned we could crystallize the tobacco mycoplasma, and it would remain infectious.
In 1943, we officially began our bio-warfare program. Shortly thereafter, we were finding our way to New Guinea to study mycoplasma in humans.
In 1945, we witnessed the greatest influx of foreign scientists in history into the U.S. biological program. Operation Paperclip will live in infamy as one of the darkest programs of a twisted parallel government fixated on genocide.
In 1946, the United States Navy hired Dr. Earl Traub, a notorious racist biologist.
A May appropriations hearing confirms the existence of a “secret� biological weapon.
In 1948, we know that the United States confirmed the endorsement of “devising a scheme� in which to address the issue of overpopulation in certain racial groups. State Department’s George McKennan’s memo will forever illuminate the eugenics mendacity necessary for genocide of millions of innocent people.
In 1949, Dr. Bjorn Sigurdsson isolates the VISNA virus. Visna is man made and shares some “unique DNA� with HIV. See, Proceedings of the United States, NAS, Vol. 92, pp. 3283 - 7, (April 11, 1995).
In 1951, we now know our government conducted its first virus attack on African Americans. Crates in Pennsylvania were tainted to see how many Negro crate handlers in Virginia would acquire the placebo virus.. They were also experimentally infecting sheep and goats. According to author Eva Snead, they also held their first world conference on an AIDS-like virus.
In 1954, Dr. Bjorn Sigurdsson publishes his first paper on Visna virus and establishes himself as the “Grandfather of the AIDS virus.� He will encounter competition from Dr. Carlton Gajdusek.
In 1955, they were able to artificially assemble the tobacco mosaic virus. Mycoplasmas will forever be at the heart of the U.S. biological warfare program
In 1957, future U.S. president, Rep Gerald Ford and others gave the U.S. Pentagon permission to aggressively deploy offensive biological agents. There are no recorded cases of AIDS prior to the 1957 creation of “Special Operation-X.� (The SOX) program served as the immediate prototype program for the Special Virus program to begin in 1962.
By 1960, Nikita Kruschev had been let in on the biological weapon. His 1960 statement will long reflect the arrogance of the secret blend of communism and democracy. The two countries would go to a November 1972 agreement to cull the Black Population.
In 1961, scientist Haldor Thomar publishes that viruses cause cancer. In 1995, he and Carlton Gajdusek informed the National Academy of Sciences that “the study of visna in sheep would be the best test for candidate anti-HIV drugs.�
In 1962, under the cover of cancer research, the United States charts a path to commit premeditated murder, the “Special Virus� program begins on February 12th. Dr. Len Hayflick sets up a U.S. mycoplasma laboratory at Stanford University. Many believe the “Special Virus� program began in November 1961 with a Phizer contract.
Beginning in 1963 and for every year thereafter, the “Special Virus� program conducted annual progress reviews at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. The annual meetings are representative of the aggressive nature in which the United States pursued the development of AIDS.
In 1964, the United States Congress gave full support for the leukemia/lymphoma (AIDS) virus research.
In 1967, the National Academy of Sciences launched a full scale assault on Africa. The CIA (Technical Services Division) acknowledged its secret inoculator program.
In 1969, Fort Detrick told world scientists and the Pentagon asked for more money, they knew they could make AIDS. Nixon’s July 18 secret memo to Congress on “Overpopulation� serves as the start of the paper trail of the AIDS Holocaust.
In 1970, President Nixon signed PL91-213 and John D. Rockefeller, III became the “Population Czar.� Nixon’s August 10 National Security Memo leaves no doubt as to the genocidal nature of depopulation.
In 1971, Progress Report #8 is issued. The flowchart (pg. 61) will forever resolve the true laboratory birth origin of AIDS. Eventually the Special Virus program will issue 15 reports and over 20,000 scientific papers. The flowchart links every scientific paper, medical experiment and U.S. contract. The flowchart would remain “missing� until 1999. World scientists were stunned. The flowchart will gain in significance throughout the 21st Century. It is also clear the experiments conducted under Phase IV-A of the flowchart are our best route to better therapy and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS. The first sixty pages of progress report #8 of the Special Virus program prove conclusively the specific goal of the program. By June 1977, the Special Virus program had produced 15, 000 gallons of AIDS. The AIDS virus was attached as complement to vaccines sent to Africa and Manhattan. However, because of the thoroughness of authors, like Dr. Robert E. Lee, we also learn the Stanford Mycoplasma Laboratory issues one of the first papers with AIDS in the title. “Viral Infections in Man Associated with Acquired Immunological Deficiency States.� The primary scientist, Dr. Thomas Merigan, was a “consultant� to the Special Virus program.
Progress Report # 8 at 104 - 106 proves Dr. Robert Gallo was secretly working on the development of AIDS with full support of the sector of the U.S. government that seeks to kill its citizens. Dr. Gallo can not explain why he excluded his role as a “project officer� for the Special Virus program from his biographical book. Dr. Gallo’s early work and discoveries will finally be viewed in relation to the flowchart. We now know where every experiment fits into the flowchart. The “research logic� is irrefutable evidence of a federal “Manhattan-style project� to develop a “contagious� cancer that “selectively� kills. Dr. Gallo’s 1971 paper is identical to his 1984 AIDS announcement.
Progress Report #8 at 273 - 286 proves we gave AIDS to monkeys. Since 1962, the United States and Dr. Robert Gallo have been inoculating monkeys and re-releasing them back into the wild. Thus, even government scientists are baffled that both HIV-1 and HIV-II would “suddenly emerge� from two distinct monkey ancestral relatives during the last 100 years. A 1999 Japanese study will ultimately prove the Man to Monkey origin of Monkey AIDS. The monkey experiments summary definitively proves Monkey AIDS is also man-made.
In 1972, the United States and the Soviet Union entered into a biological agreement that would signal the death knell for the Black Population. The 1972 agreement for collaboration and cooperation in the development of offensive biological agents is still U. S. policy.
In 1973, we find that world scientist, Garth Nicolson reports on his project, “Role of the Cell Surface in Escape From Immunological Surveillance.� His report is accompanied by seven published papers. Dr. Nicolson worked in conjunction with the Special Virus program from 1972 until 1978. Dr. Nicolson is considered by some to be Dr. Gallo’s “West Coast� counterpart. It is strongly held that because of Dr. Nicolson, Dr. Robert Gallo and Dr. Luc Montagnier would secretly meet in Southern California to coordinate what they would and would not say about the special virus development program.
In 1974, Furher Henry Kissinger releases his NSSM-200 (U.S. Plan to Address Overpopulation). It is the only issue of discussion at the World Population Conference in Bucharest, Romania. The men in the shadows had won, the whole world agrees to secretly cull Africa’s population. Today it is Africa and other undesirables. Tomorrow it may be you.
In 1975, President Gerald Ford signs National Security Defense Memorandum #314. The United States implements the Kissinger NSSM-200.
In 1976, the United States issues Progress Report #13 of the Special Virus program. The report proves the United States had various international agreements with the Russians, Germans, British, French, Canadians and Japanese. The plot to kill Black people has wide international support. In March, the Special Virus began production of the AIDS virus, by June 1977, the program will have produced 15,000 gallons of AIDS. President Jimmy Carter allows for the continuation of the secret plan to cull the Black Population.
In 1977, Dr. Robert Gallo and the top Soviet Scientists meet to discuss the proliferation of the 15,000 gallons of AIDS. They attach AIDS as complement to the Small pox vaccine for Africa, and the “experimental� hepatitis B vaccine for Manhattan. According to authors June Goodfield and Alan Cantwell, it is Batch #751 that was administered in New York to thousands of innocent people. This government will never be able to repay the people for the social rape, humiliation and out right prejudice people with HIV/AIDS face on a daily basis. The men in the shadows of the AIDS curtain accurately calculated that you would not care if only Blacks and gays are dying. In fact you don’t care that nearly a half million Gulf War veterans are encumbered with something contagious. Soon there will be no more Black people and a confused military, older White people will start suddenly dying and you still won’t get it. Be here now for us, give us a chance to be there for you.
Suddenly, just as President Nixon had predicted, there was explosive death. On November 4, 1999, the U.S. White House announced,.... “Within a period as short as five years, all new infections of HIV in the United States will be African American....� At some point our experts must be allowed to begin the interface process of allowing the history of this virus program to count. It is ludicrous and preposterous to fail to review the U.S. virus program in which to elucidate the etiology of AIDS.
More of the history of the secret virus program can be found in the archives of Dr. John B. Moloney. A review of the files under Dr. Moloney’s name would further pinpoint additional dates and records consistent with one of the greatest hunts, capture and proliferation of disease in the history of the human race. We have found the missing link. It is the guts of the research logic of a federal program that seeks to kill. We have found a curtain of AIDS. We can identify some of the people who work in the shadows of the curtain. Dr. Robert Gallo and Dr. Garth Nicolson must lead us in review. In light of the attack mechanisms available in which to inhibit AIDS, it is time that not another person be stricken with this relic, synthetic mycoplasma chimera.
Help those of us who are still here to realize full and contributory lives. We are all one people.
On September 28, 1998 I filed suit against the United States for the “creation�, “production� and “proliferation� of AIDS. On November 7, 2000, the appeals court agreed with the lower court and held AIDS bioengineering as “frivolous.� The world continues to wait for the court to rule on the resubmitted issues. The court can not continue to simply brush aside our experts and the government’s flowchart.
I have been asked to give my perspective with regard to the federal program MK-NAOMI . MK-NAOMI is the code for the development of AIDS. The “MK� portion stands for the two co-authors of the AIDS virus, Robert Manaker and Paul Kotin. The “NAOMI� portion stands for “Negroes are Only Momentary Individuals.� The U.S. government continues to orchestrate silence from the very top echelons of the Congress and military. At present there is no accountability. The good people will ultimately create a tsunami of public outrage. We can not allow the state an autocratic right to govern outside of the Constitution. Our society is structured to hide crimes committed by the state, while punishing citizens for minor indiscretions. Their strategy focuses on the general confusion they can create via manipulation of the media. They are very good at what they do. We must become more focused in our continued presentation of the flowchart. The flowchart is the absolute missing link in proving the existence of a coordinated research program to develop a cancer virus that depletes the immune system. New diseases do not create old illnesses.
This compilation of court documents and correspondence is the true effort of one man’s achievement in solving the mystery of the origin of AIDS. We have found the origin of AIDS, it is us.

Heard about MK-ULTRA (mind control or mind control by trauma with links to Josef Mengele) but never MK-NAOMI.

HIV has never been isolated as a unique, exogenous(developed from outside the body) retrovirus.
Basically this means HIV has never been reverse-engineered so there can NEVER be a cure.

It was admitted ten years ago that there is no such thing as a typical HIV isolate, therefore, there can be no Gold Standard HIV test because there is no Gold Standard HIV isolate. On each continent there are different criteria for HIV positivity and AIDS definition.

Far from defeating AIDS, the HIV hypothesis has escalated the epidemic by the global promotion of antiviral drugs (AZT, ddI, ddC, 3TC, etc.) which are proven to be a major cause of AIDS conditions.
By focusing exclusively on HIV, researchers, counselors and doctors have failed to examine and halt the recreational drug-driven AIDS epidemic that has hit London, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Amsterdam as well as countries like the former Soviet Union, the Ukraine, Romania, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Korea.
The AIDS epidemic reveals that AIDS would be entirely preventable and in part curable, if:
1. AZT, protease inhibitors and all other antiviral drugs and HIV vaccines were banned,
2. a global educational programme were instigated concerning the health risks of illicit recreational drugs,
3. and the non-specific HIV antibody testing procedures (Elisa, Western blot) were to be withdrawn. Therefore patients may be treated for any real illnesses rather than for the being treated by cyto-toxic antiviral drugs on the outcome of an arbitrary HIV antibody test.
If any people looked into this, they would relise that there is no actual HIV test.
Because HIV has NEVER been singled out, so in turn many positves on a test that isn't no way near 100%(Elisa, Western blot) might lead you on to a drug to slow down the onset of AIDS (AZT, ddI, ddC, 3TC, etc.) which are proven to be a major cause of AIDS conditions.
Still in doubts? AZT is a re-purposed banned chemotherapy drug, which proved to be to toxic when treating leukemia.
And they're giving this to you when diagnosed with HIV from an inacurate test?
 WAKE UP!!! depopulation is amoungst us but you nah see it....yet.

I try to refrain from using the word 'conspiracy' because this just gets peoples 'backs up'
What I try show is a factual view from another side which is currently being supressed because of big money.
Someone shows me, I show someone else and so on is how we all get educated.
Peter H. Duesberg Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and well over 300 others from the elite medical profession are questioning HIV/AIDS. These people want a cure and don't see it coming from the current practises.
Prof.Duesberg one of the pioneers in cancer reserch had funding withdrawn because he questioned the way progress is being made with HIV/AIDS.

Now the western world have mastered the arts of many sciences, including the study in dangerous viruses. Their adeptness at delving into WMD and coming up with the goods is as astounding as their precision weapons. Also astounding is their capacity to tell barefaced lies. Take today's news about the Muslim man who has just been sentenced to a long time for the murder of a policeman, however, the BBC and the rest of them are reporting the story as the reason for his incarceration is that he was involved in a terror plot. BBC on the web reports that he has already been senctenced for the killing of the policman. Peoples dont you believe it before checking it out. Has he received 22 years earlier for the murder, did he receve 17 years for the murder and not terrorism. At any rate, whichever agency was tasked to test the items found in the flat reported back there was no ricin. Investigation of the flat proved that there was no ricin plot. I believe all were found not guilty of terrorism this week. Yet we are being told the opposite.
His lawyer was on radio 4 today, and he was shaking his head at the way the bbc represented the report. When asked whether he persanally viewed AlQuaida as a threat, he replied a definate NO.
Peoples let us get real. Arm yourself with the knowledge of the agenda of the beasts of prey. They are all 'wanna be richer' folk and they will lie and steal their way to their goal. Would be nice if you read some of the posts....instead of 'just commenting'
by 'just commenting' and not learning could mean you being diagnosed with HIV from an inacurate test and then being prescribed antiviral drugs with symptoms or side effects that are the same as AIDS, this isn't scare tactics these are facts, then who would be the fool?
I do NOT wish this upon anyone!
Fact: People are living much longer periods with HIV in Africa before contracting AIDS then people are in the western world. As funding for medicine is increased so has the AIDS cases.
Antiviral drugs are readily available in the western world and the lifespan is shorter. Does anyone remember the person from the US who was diagnosed HIV+ and ended up with AIDS within a month?
This man was on pcp and antiviral drugs at the same time, this alone is enough to cane your immune system.
This is what top scientists have been saying since 1997. Funding is withdrawn and they're not even allowed to put small adverts in medical journals about an HIV/AIDS reappraisal.

Actually its a blood bourne disease, hence some hetrosexual monogamous people caught through blood tranfusions and junkies catch it through sharing needles.

Are Human and Viral Experiments Responsible For Unleashing The HIV Holocaust?
AIDS in America rarely makes headlines anymore. In the mind of the public the disease is still believed to be a sexually-transmitted disease mostly affecting male homosexuals, drug addicts, prostitutes and promiscuous people. Starting officially in June 1981 as a "gay disease" affecting only a few dozen men, there are now 800,000 reported U.S. AIDS cases and 460,000 deaths, mostly young men. The prediction of a "major threat" to the "general" heterosexual population never happened.
Every December 1, we commemorate World AIDS Day. This year (2003) there are 36 million people worldwide estimated to be living with AIDS/HIV. Twenty-two million people have died of the disease.
This year, AIDS will get more attention than usual. On November 16, 2003, CBS was supposed to have to aired "The Reagans" - an unflattering portrait of President Ronald Reagan who presided over the first years of the AIDS epidemic. The miniseries was cancelled due to a flood of protests, particularly over a line in the script where Reagan says, "They that live in sin shall die in sin." There is no historical evidence that the president ever uttered such a line; and Reagan admirers fumed over the attempt by CBS to "rewrite history." However, it is a fact that the political infighting between the various federal health agencies, and the shameful refusal of the Reagan administration to fund AIDS research and education, all combined to provide a serious indictment against the government's handling of AIDS in the early years of the American epidemic. Most disconcerting is the fact that Reagan never once uttered the word "AIDS" in public until March 1987, when 16,000 Americans (mostly gay men) had already died of AIDS.
More furor over the failure of the Reagan administration to act against the epidemic will undoubtedly escalate when Tony Kushner's famous AIDS-themed play "Angels in America" airs on HBO on December 7. All of this current rehash into the early years of AIDS will lead to a further historical reexamination of the government's role in handling the mysterious outbreak that first began as a gay disease and now is an unstoppable worldwide pandemic.
But the media and the AIDS scientists have never told the real history of AIDS and its origin to the world public. We are repeatedly told that HIV came from Africa. But how is that sexually and biologically possible? How could a supposedly black African heterosexual disease- that some scientists claim has been around for decades or centuries in Africa- suddenly transform itself into an exclusively white male homosexual disease in America, and at a time when AIDS was unknown in Africa?
Is AIDS, in reality, a man-made disease originally produced by human experimentation or human error? Could the bio-engineering of dangerous viruses that preceded the "gay plague" be responsible for the origin of AIDS? In view of covert and unethical government-sponsored human radiation experiments that preceded AIDS, is it fair to blame gays, blacks and chimpanzees for a disease that could have been started by vaccine programs utilizing gays and blacks as guinea-pigs?
These are historical issues that will never be considered by the media in the wake of the AIDS controversies surrounding "The Reagans" and "Angels in America." However, there is strong evidence to suggest that HIV/AIDS is indeed a man-made disease, and it is time to "rewrite history" to include long-forgotten and suppressed facts about AIDS and its origin.

Since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic there have been persistent rumors that the disease was man-made, and that HIV was deliberately "introduced" into the American gay and the African black populations as a germ warfare experiment. This so-called conspiracy theory was quickly squelched by virologists and molecular biolologists, who blamed primates in the African bush and human sexuality for the introduction and spread of HIV.
In the fall of 1986 the Soviets shocked the world by claiming that HIV was secretly developed at Fort Detrick, the U.S. Army's biological warfare unit. Although the claim was dismissed as "infectious propaganda", Russian scientists had worked hand in hand with biological warfare scientists in the transfer of viruses and virus-infected tissue into various non-human primates (monkeys, apes, chimps) during the 1970s before AIDS appeared. With improved international relationships, the Russian accusation vanished.
Although evidence supporting the man-made theory has never been mentioned in the major U.S. media, the theory continues to be ridiculed. For example, in the San Francisco Chronicle,( "Quest for the Origin of AIDS", January 14, 2001), William Carlsen writes: "In the early years of the AIDS epidemic, theories attempting to explain the origin of the disease ranged from the comic to the bizarre: a deadly germ escaped from a secret CIA laboratory; God sent the plague down to punish homosexuals and drug addicts; it came from outer space, riding on the tail of a comet."
AIDS certainly did not come from the hand of God or outer space. However, there is ample evidence to suspect the hand of man in the outbreak of AIDS that first began in the late 1970s in New York City.
Creating AIDS in animals before the epidemic
Lost in the history of AIDS is evidence pointing to HIV as a virus whose origin traces back to animal cancer retrovirus experimentation in the "pre-AIDS" years of the 1960s and 70s. Evidence linking the introduction of HIV into gays and blacks via vaccine experiments and programs in the late 1970s has been totally ignored in favor of the politically correct theory claiming that HIV originated in chimpanzees in the African rain forest, and that HIV "jumped species" into the African population around 1930 or even earlier.
Conveniently overlooked is the series of outbreaks of AIDS-like epidemics that broke out in U.S. primate centers, beginning in 1969. A decade before AIDS, the first of five recorded epidemics of "simian AIDS" erupted in a colony of stump-tailed macaques housed in a primate lab at Davis, California. Most of the macaques died. Two types of primate immunodeficiency viruses were eventually discovered as the cause. A few silently infected monkeys transferred to the primate colony at Yerkes in Atlanta subsequently died of simian AIDS in the late 1980s. Veterinarians claim the origin of the simian AIDS outbreak is unknown. However, one obvious possibility is the experimental transfer of viruses between various primate species, which is common practice in animal laboratories.
In 1974 veterinarians actually created an AIDS-like disease when newborn chimps were removed from their mothers and weaned exclusively on virus-infected milk from cows infected with "bovine C-type virus." Within a year the chimps died of leukemia and pneumocystis pneumonia (the "gay pneumonia" of AIDS). Both diseases had never been observed in chimps before this virus-transfer experiment.
Also downplayed is the laboratory creation of feline leukemia and "cat AIDS" by the transfer of HIV-like cat retroviruses in the mid-1970s. These experiments were conducted at Harvard by Myron (Max) Essex, later to become a famous AIDS researcher. All this man-made creation of AIDS in laboratory animals directly preceded the "mysterious" 1979 introduction of HIV into gay men, the most hated minority in America.
Nowadays, scientists hunt for "ancestor" viruses of HIV in chimps in the African wild and ignore all the immunosuppressive viruses that were created in virus laboratories shortly before AIDS. No consideration is given to any of these lab viruses as possible man-made ancestors of the many "strains" of HIV (and HIV-2) that jumped species to produce AIDS in humans.
The gay experiments that preceded AIDS (1978-1981)
Scientists also discount any connection between the official outbreak of AIDS in 1981 and the experimental hepatitis B vaccine program (1978-1981) at the New York Blood Center in Manhattan that used gays as guinea pigs shortly before the epidemic. Curiously, the exact origin of AIDS in the United States remains unstudied. Health authorities simply blame promiscuous gay men, but never adequately explain how a black heterosexual African disease could have transformed itself exclusively into a white young gay male disease in Manhattan.
Researchers claim HIV incubated in Africa for more that a half century until AIDS broke out there in 1982. However, in the U.S. there was no incubation period for gay men. As soon as homosexuals signed up as guinea pigs for government-sponsored hepatitis B vaccine experiments, they began to die with a strange virus of unknown origin. The hepatitis B experiments began in Manhattan in the fall of 1978; the first few cases of AIDS (all young gays from Manhattan) were reported to the CDC in 1979.
Scientists have also failed to explain how a brand new herpes virus was also introduced exclusively into gays, along with HIV, in the late 1970s. This herpes virus is now believed to be the cause of Kaposi's sarcoma, the so-called "gay cancer" of AIDS. Before AIDS, Kaposi's sarcoma was never seen in healthy young men. Identified a decade after HIV, in 1994, this KS virus is closely related to a primate cancer-causing herpes virus extensively studied and transferred in animal laboratories in the decade before AIDS.
Also downplayed to the public is a new microbe (Mycoplasma penetrans), also of unknown origin, that was introduced into homosexuals, along with HIV and the new herpes virus. Thus, not one but three new infectious agents were inexplicably transferred into the gay population at the start of the epidemic (HIV, the herpes KS virus, and M.penetrans).
In his book, Virus [2000], Luc Montagnier (the French virologist who co-discovered HIV) blames promiscuous American gay tourists for bringing this new mycoplasma to Africa, and for bringing back HIV. He provides no evidence for this homophobic theory. Nor does he mention the various mycoplasmas that were passed around in the 1970s in scientific labs, and the fact that these microbes were frequent contaminants in virus cultures and vaccines.
Why are all these simultaneous introductions of new infectious agents into gay men ignored by scientists? Surely a credible explanation would be important in determining the origin of HIV and AIDS.
Why are scientists so opposed to the man-made theory? And why do they believe so passionately in the chimp theory? One explanation might be that scientists don't want the public to know what happened to the tens of thousands of imported primates who were held captive in laboratories throughout the world in the decade before AIDS.
The forgotten Special Virus Cancer Program (1964-1977)
Rarely mentioned by AIDS scientists and media reporters is the fact that surgeons have been transplanting chimpanzee parts (and chimp viruses) into people for decades. When Keith Reemtsma died in June 2000, at age 74, he was hailed as a pioneer in cross-species organ transplants (now known as xenotransplantation). By 1964 he had already placed six chimpanzee kidneys into six patients. All his patients died, but eventually Reemtsma succeeded in many successful human-to-human organ transplants.
Much more likely to have spread primate (chimp and monkey) viruses to human beings is the largely forgotten Special Virus Cancer Program (SVCP). This research program was responsible for the development, the production, the seeding, and the deployment of various animal cancer and immunosuppressive AIDS-like viruses and retroviruses. These laboratory created viruses were capable of inducing disease when transferred between animal species and also when transplanted into human cells and tissue.
The SVCP began in 1964 as a government-funded program of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Maryland. Originally designed to study leukemia, the program was soon enlarged to study all forms of cancer. The scope of the program was international and included scientists from Japan, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Israel, and Africa. The mission of the SVCP was to collect various human and animal cancers from around the world and to grow large amounts of cancer-causing viruses. As a result, thousands of liters of dangerous man-made viruses were adapted to human cells and shipped around the world to various laboratories. The annual reports of the SVCP contain proof that species jumping of animal viruses was a common occurrence in labs a decade before AIDS.
The SVCP gathered together the nation's top virologists, biochemists, immunologists, molecular biologists, and epidemiologists, to determine the role of viruses and retroviruses in the production of human cancer. Many of the most prestigious medical institutions were involved in this program.
Connected with the SVCP were the most famous future American AIDS scientists, such as Robert Gallo (the co-discoverer of HIV), Max Essex of "cat AIDS" fame, and Peter Duesberg, who claims HIV does not cause AIDS. Gallo and Essex were also the first to promote the widely accepted African green monkey theory of AIDS. This theory was proven erroneous as far back as 1988, but was heavily circulated among AIDS educators and the media until the theory was superceded by the chimp theory in the late 1990s.
Biowarfare research, primate research and the SVCP
Also joining forces with the SVCP at the NCI were the military's biological warfare researchers. On October 18, 1971, President Richard Nixon announced that the army's biowarfare laboratories at nearby Fort Detrick, Maryland, would be converted to cancer research. As part of Nixon's so-called War on Cancer, the military biowarfare unit was retitled the new Frederick Cancer Research Center, and Litton Bionetics was named as the military's prime contractor for this project. According to the 1971 SVPC annual report, the primary task of the now jointly connected National Cancer Institute-Frederick Cancer Research Center was "the large scale production of oncogenic (cancer-causing) and suspected oncogenic viruses to meet research needs on a continuing basis." Special attention was given to primate viruses (the alleged African source of HIV) and "the successful propagation of significant amounts of human candidate
viruses." Candidate viruses were animal or human viruses that might cause human cancers.
For these experiments a steady supply of research animals (monkeys, chimpanzees, mice, and cats) was necessary; and multiple breeding colonies were established for the SVCP. Primates were shipped in from West Africa and Asia for experimentation; and virus-infected animals were shipped out to various labs worldwide. By 1971, a total of 2,274 primates had been inoculated at Bionetics Research Laboratories, under contract to Fort Detrick. Over 1000 of these monkeys had already died or had been transferred to other primate centers. (Some animals were eventually released back into the wild). By the early 1970s, experimenters had transferred cancer-causing viruses into several species of monkeys, and had also isolated a monkey virus (Herpesvirus saimiri) that would have a close genetic relationship to the new Kaposi's sarcoma herpes virus that produced the "gay cancer" of AIDS in 1979.
In order to induce primates and other research animals to acquire cancer, their immune system was deliberately suppressed by drugs, radiation, or cancer-causing chemicals or substances. The thymus gland and/or the spleen were removed, and viruses were injected into newborn animals or into the womb of pregnant animals. Some animals were injected with malaria to keep them chronically sick and immunodepressed.
The U.S. is the world's leading consumer of primates, and 55,000 are used yearly in medical research. Primates (especially newborn and baby chimpanzees) are the most favored lab animals because they are similar biochemically and immunologically to human beings. Humans share 98.4% of their DNA with chimpanzees. Chimps were extensively used by SVCP because there would be no official testing of "candidate" lab viruses on humans.
In the decade before AIDS, Gallo was a project officer of a primate study contracted by Bionetics that pumped cancerous human tissue, as well as a variety of chicken and monkey viruses, into newborn macaques (a small species of monkey that carries a close relative of the KS virus).
Recorded in the 1971 SVCP report (NIH-71-2025), Gallo's project notes state: "Inasmuch as tests for the biological activity of candidate human viruses will not be tested in the human species, it is imperative that another system be developed for these determinations, and subsequently for the evaluation of vaccines or other measures of control. The close phylogenetic relationship of the lower primates to man justifies utilization of these animals for these purposes."
Researchers at Bionetics injected human and animal cancer material into various species of monkeys to determine the cancer effect. Newborn and irradiated monkeys were injected with blood ("using multiple sites and volumes as large as possible") taken from various forms of human leukemia. In other studies, tissue cultures infected with various animal viruses were inoculated into primates. How many "new" and "emerging" viruses were created and adapted to human tissue and to various primates is not known.
Some primates were released back into the wild carrying lab viruses with them. The possible spread of these lab viruses to other animals in the wild has been ignored by scientists searching for the origin of HIV and its close relatives in African animals.
Cats were also bred for leukemia and sarcoma cancer studies. Germ free colonies of inbred mice were established. Mouse cancer viruses were manipulated to produce resistant and non-resistant strains. These adapted viruses would be employed in the 1980s in human gene replacement experiments. Such experiments utilized a weakened strain of the mouse
leukemia virus to infect and "taxi-in" the missing genes to genetically-defective human beings.
The end of the SVCP and the birth of AIDS
By 1977 the SVCP came to an inglorious end. According to Gallo, "Scientifically, the problem was that no one could supply clear evidence of any kind of human tumor virus, not even a DNA virus, and most researchers refused to concede that viruses played any role in human cancers. Politically, the Virus Cancer Program was vulnerable because it attracted a great deal of money and attention and had failed to produce dramatic, visible results."
Despite all this, the SVCP was the birthplace of genetic engineering,
molecular biology, and the human genome project. More than any other program
it built up the field of animal retrovirology, which led to the vital understanding of cancer and immunosuppressive retroviruses in humans.
As the SVCP was winding down, thousands of gay men were signing up as guinea pigs in government-sponsored hepatitis B vaccine experiments in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. These same cities would soon become the three primary epicenters for the new "gay-related immune deficiency syndrome," later known as AIDS.
Two years after the termination of the SCVP, the introduction of HIV into gay men (along with a herpes virus and a mycoplasma) miraculously revived retroviral research and made Gallo the most famous scientist in the world.
Could virus-contaminated hepatitis vaccines lie at the root of AIDS? In the early 1970s the hepatitis B vaccine was developed in chimpanzees. To this day, some people are fearful about taking the hepatitis B vaccine because of its original connection to gay men and AIDS.
Was HIV (and the KS herpes virus and a new mycoplasma) introduced into gays during these vaccine trials when thousands of homosexuals were injected in Manhattan beginning in 1978, and in the West Coast cities in 1980-1981?
As mentioned, the first gay AIDS cases erupted in Manhattan a few months after the gay experiment began at the NY Blood Center. When a blood test for HIV became available in the mid-1980s, the Center's stored gay blood specimens were reexamined. Most astonishing is the statistically significant fact that 20% of the gay men who volunteered for the hepatitis B experiment in New York were discovered to be HIV-positive in 1980 (a year before the AIDS epidemic became "official" in 1981). This signifies that Manhattan gays in 1980 had the highest incidence of HIV anywhere in the world, including Africa, the supposed birthplace of HIV and AIDS. And epidemic cases in Africa did not appear until 1982.
Although denied by the AIDS establishment, a few researchers are convinced that these vaccine experiments served as the vehicle through which HIV was introduced into the gay population. My own extensive research into the hepatitis B experiments is presented in AIDS and the Doctors of Death: An Inquiry into the Origin of the AIDS Epidemic [1988], and in Queer Blood: The Secret AIDS Genocide Plot [1993]. These books also debunk the preposterous "Patient Zero" story of 1987, which claimed a promiscuous gay Canadian airline steward brought AIDS to America. The highly implausible story was sensationalized in the media and served to further obscure the origin of AIDS in America and blame gay promiscuity. Even Montagnier is doubtful that the U.S. epidemic could have developed from a single patient.
Never mentioned by proponents of the chimp theory is the fact that the New York Blood Center established a chimp virus laboratory in West Africa in 1974. One of the purposes of VILAB II, at the Liberian Institute for Biomedical Research in Robertsfield, Liberia, was to develop the hepatitis B vaccine in chimps. A few years later this vaccine was inoculated into gays at the Center.
Chimps were captured from various parts of West Africa and brought to VILAB. Alfred Prince, Head of virology at the NY Blood Center, has been the director of Vilab for the past 25 years. The lab prides itself by releasing "rehabilitated" chimps back into the wild.
Also closely allied with "pre-AIDS" development of a hepatitis B vaccine is the little publicized primate colony outside New York City called LEMSIP (the Laboratory for Experimental Medicine and Surgery). Until disbanded in 1997, LEMSIP supplied New York area scientists with primates and primate parts for transplantation and virus research.
Founded in 1965, LEMSIP was affiliated with the New York University Medical Center, where the first cases of AIDS-associated Kaposi's sarcoma were discovered in 1979. Researchers at NYU Medical Center were also heavily involved in the development of the experimental hepatitis B vaccine used in gays; and the Medical Center received government grants and contracts connected with biological warfare research beginning in 1969, according to Leonard Horowitz, author of Emerging Viruses: AIDS and Ebola [1996].
Scientific disinformation and the 1959 HIV-positive blood test from Africa
By predating HIV back to the 1930s, the chimp theory effectively discredits the man-made theory of AIDS, which dates the introduction of HIV to the late 1970s. Only time will tell whether the chimp theory will hold up to further scientific scrutiny.
Conspiracy theorists believe some widely published AIDS origin stories in the media are merely examples of scientific disinformation designed to cover-up the man-made origin of HIV. One example is the famous Patient Zero story. Another is the media blitz surrounding the English sailor who supposedly contracted AIDS in 1959. This now-disproven story made worldwide headlines in 1990 and obviously served to contradict the underground conspiracy theory (particularly among African-Americans) that AIDS was man-made.
The New York Times (July 24, 1990) declared: "The case also refutes the widely publicized charges made by Soviet officials several years ago that AIDS arose from a virus that had escaped from a laboratory experiment that went awry or was a biological warfare agent. The human retrovirus group to which the AIDS virus belongs was unknown at the time. Nor did scientists then have the genetic engineering techniques needed to create a virus." Several years later, the case was discovered to be not a case of AIDS because the sailor's tissue remains were accidentally (or deliberately) contaminated with HIV.
In 1998 the media alerted the public to further evidence that AIDS started in Africa. The proof consisted of an old 1959 stored frozen blood specimen discovered to be HIV-positive. Researchers claimed the tiny amount of serum contained fragments of HIV "closely related" to a virus found in 3 chimpanzees in the African wild and in the frozen remains of a chimp named Marilyn, discovered in a freezer at Fort Detrick.
The 1959 specimen was obtained from a Bantu man living in Kinshasa, the Congo. His name and health status were not recorded. Details of the history and testing of this specimen (later heralded as the "world's oldest HIV-positive blood sample") are recorded in The River: A Journey to the Source of HIV and AIDS [1999], by journalist Edward Hooper who theorizes that HIV was introduced into Africans via the polio vaccine programs in the late 1950s. Hooper claims the polio vaccine was prepared using chimp kidney cells contaminated with the ancestor virus of HIV.
When tested for HIV in the mid-1980s, the 1959 blood sample was the only specimen out of 700 stored frozen Congo bloods that tested positive for HIV. Originally collected by Arno Motulsky on a Rockefeller grant, the African sample was one of many sent to the University of Washington in Seattle and used for genetic testing and included in a report, "Population Genetic Studies," published in 1966. Around 1970, the remaining 672 frozen bloods were flown to Emory University in Atlanta for further genetic tests.
In 1985 the specimens again changed hands, this time for HIV testing by Andre Nahmias, a virologist and animal researcher associated with the Yerkes Primate Center at Emory. The Congo specimens were tested along with 500 other blood specimens taken from blacks living in sub-Saharan Africa between the years 1959 and 1982. Initially over 90% of specimens taken in 1959 tested positive for HIV by the ELISA test. However, these HIV-positive tests were later determined to be false-positive. After the examinations at Emory, the specimens were shipped to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for HIV testing in Max Essex' lab.
Three specimens initially tested HIV-positive, but finally only the 1959 specimen from the unidentified Bantu man was confirmed HIV- positive. Around the time of these examinations, Essex's lab was unknowingly contaminated with primate viruses.
In 1986, Essex discovered a new "human" AIDS virus that later proved to be a contaminating monkey virus. The source of the primate virus traced back to a captive monkey at a primate center in nearby Southborough, Massachusetts. This primate contamination at his lab resulted in the erroneous green monkey theory, heavily popularized by Gallo and the media.
Also unpublicized is the little known fact that Gallo's lab at the National Cancer Institute was plagued with contamination by primate viruses. In 1975 he reported a new human "HL-23" virus that eventually proved to be three contaminating ape primate viruses (gibbon-ape virus, simian sarcoma virus, and baboon endogenous virus). Gallo claims he has no idea how these viruses contaminated his research.
In 1996 Hooper convinced Nahmias to turn over the remaining 1959 specimen to David Ho of Rockefeller University in Manhattan for PCR testing. In 1996 Ho was named Time magazine's "Man of the Year", at a time when few people had ever heard of him. Ho is also the director of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, affiliated with Rockefeller University since 1996. The Diamond Center is also now connected with the New York Blood Center, home of the gay vaccine experiments that gave birth to AIDS.
Ho determined the tiny amount of the remaining specimen did not contain live virus, nor was the complete virion of the virus present. Instead, some fragments of the virus (about 15% of the total genome) were tested and presented to the scientific world as the oldest specimen of HIV in the world. Ho's PCR results cannot be confirmed by independent investigators because the 1959 specimen is now totally used up.
When published in the journal Nature on February 5, 1998 ("An African HIV-1 sequence from 1959 and implications for the origin of the epidemic"), Hooper's name appeared on the report, along with Ho, Bette Korber, Nahmias, and others, The report was heavily publicized as proof that HIV existed in the African population in 1959.
Although there are no HIV-positive tissue specimens from Africa from the 1960s and 1970s, and no proven cases of AIDS either, Hooper relies heavily on this 1959 test to support his theory that HIV entered the African population via the polio vaccines programs in the late 1950s.
In The River Hooper quickly dismisses the claims of physician Robert Strecker, the first whistle-blower of man-made AIDS, as well as the research in Horowitz's Emerging Viruses, and in my own books, AIDS & The Doctors of Death, and Queer Blood.
In condemning AIDS biowarfare research, Hooper declares, "Sadly, supporters of the Streckers have continued to peddle their ill-informed and outdated versions of the myth, blaming variously the Soviets, the CIA, the Germans, and the World Health Organization (WHO) well into the nineties." He dismisses the hepatitis B vaccine connection to AIDS by noting that only two of the 826 gay vaccinees had developed AIDS by 1983. Hooper ignores the fact that by 1981 over 20% of the men in the trials were HIV-positive and that by 1982, over 30% of the men were HIV-positive. He dismisses the World Health Organization's African smallpox vaccine connection by saying, "there is no reason for either HIV or SIV [simian immunodeficiency virus] to be accidentally present in the vaccine." Hooper fails to consider the possibility that the vaccines could have been deliberately contaminated with HIV. Hooper has been a United Nations official, but no details of this are included in his book .
Despite his massive research, Hooper seems naïve about the continuing transfer of viruses between various primate species at primate centers. For example, in 1995 he interviewed Preston Marx at LEMSIP. At that time Marx was a representative of David Ho's organization, the Aaron Diamond Research Center. Hooper writes: "I was shocked by the cavalier way in which tissues and sera from one species had been introduced into other species, long after the risks of cross-species transfer had been highlighted by the SV40 [polio vaccine] debacle, and I was astonished that survivors from troops that had been stricken by mystery illnesses could have been casually sold to other centers, for use in experiments there. Furthermore, this apparent lack of monitoring and central control seemed to be echoed in other fields, like xenotransplantation (the transplanting of organ or cells from one species to another) - and here, of course, the implications were even more frightening."
By predating his polio vaccine theory back to the late 1950s, Hooper greatly simplified his theory of AIDS origin. He ignored all those animal viruses that were placed into human tissue in the 60s and 70s, and all those dangerous viral creations that were genetically altered for cancer research, vaccine research, and secret biological warfare.
The chimp in the freezer at Fort Detrick
On February 1, 1999 Lawrence K Altman, longtime physician-writer for The New York Times, dutifully reported "the riddle of the origin of the AIDS virus has apparently been solved." A team of researchers, headed by Beatrice Hahn at the University of Alabama, performed viral studies on three chimps in the African wild and had also studied the frozen remains of a chimp, discovered by accident in a freezer at Fort Detrick. The chimp had tested positive for HIV in 1985. On the basis of all this research, Hahn declared that a common subspecies of chimp (Pan troglodytes troglodytes) was the animal source of the virus "most closely " related to HIV.
In a media blitz U.S. government scientists presented a phylogenetic ancestral "family tree" of primate viruses (which few people could understand) to prove that HIV was genetically descended from a chimp virus in the African bush. Molecular analysis of virus genetic data, performed by Bette Korber and the supercomputer Nirvana at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, indicated that HIV had jumped species from a chimp to a human in Africa around the year 1930. (Los Alamos is the official home of nuclear bomb-building, alleged Chinese spies, and the laboratory which directed secret human radiation experiments on unsuspecting civilians from the 1940s up to the beginning of the AIDS epidemic.)
Beatrice Hahn theorized that the epidemic started when a hunter cut himself while butchering chimp meat and subsequently became infected. Scientists readily accepted Hahn's notion that the AIDS virus and its closest relatives jumped species from chimps to humans on multiple occasions, thereby explaining the origin of the three separate subtypes of HIV-1 (M, N, and O), as well as HIV-2.
Chimps in West Africa are hunted for food, as well as for medical experimentation. Young chimps are especially prized for scientific research and are usually caught by shooting their mothers. Many die from stress and inhumane conditions during capture and transport to laboratories and zoos in Western nations.
Due to all this killing, chimps are now an endangered species. During the past century the African chimp population has dropped from two million to less than 150,000. Despite the mass killing of chimps, they are still blamed for causing the worldwide epidemic of AIDS.
Beatrice Hahn is no stranger to primate theories, having worked in Gallo's lab when he was heavily promoting the green monkey theory in the mid-1980s and the "close relationship" of the monkey virus to HIV. Now Hahn's virus was claimed to be a closer relative than the contaminating monkey virus in Essex' lab that formed the basis of the false green monkey theory.
Media journalists paid no attention to these discrepancies. Hahn's new chimp findings, along with the old 1959 blood specimen, fully convinced the
AIDS establishment, and an adoring media, that Africa was indeed the source of HIV and the AIDS epidemic.
The 2000 London Origin of AIDS Conference
When Hooper's book appeared in the fall of 1998, molecular scientists quickly used the new chimp virus data to completely discredit Hooper's polio vaccine theory. AIDS in Africa could not be caused by a virus jumping species in the 50s if it had already jumped species back in the 1930s. Researchers refused to believe scientists could have played any role in the origin of HIV and AIDS.
Hooper bypassed the biowarfare theory by predating HIV back to the 50s. Now scientists bypassed Hooper by dating HIV back several decades earlier. The fact that there was no African epidemic until the early 1980s did not seem pertinent. To make their view official, a small group of scientists proposed an "invitation only" meeting to settle the origin matter once and for all.
In October 2000 the Royal Society of London held a two-day conference on the origins of HIV. Obviously, the biowarfare theory of AIDS was not discussed. On the contrary, one professor emphatically declared "all human infectious diseases have an animal origin." Although there never was a disease like AIDS (until scientists started to flagrantly pass viruses around to repeatedly break the species barrier ), the same professor declared that "natural transfer of these infections is a common event in animal populations."
Using the viral fragments from the 1959 specimen and comparing them with the select viruses contained in the data bank at Los Alamos , Betty Korber refined her computer calculations to establish a likely date of 1940, "with confidence levels extending from 1871 to 1955." The Rega Institute in Antwerp estimated the transfer could have occurred between 1590 and 1760, with 1675 the most likely date.
Hooper spoke but his views were largely ignored by the molecular biologists. Preston Marx warned about more human diseases caused by viruses emerging from primates, None of the speakers mentioned what happened to the thousands of liters of animal viruses that were passed around the world by the Special Virus Cancer Program in the decade before AIDS.
Instead, the London conferees alerted the public to a new view of medical science, championed by the virologists. The "Last Word" at the conference was that "all human viral infections were initially zoonotic (animal) in origin. Animals will always provide a reservoir for viruses that could threaten human populations in the future." And the scientists predicted: "There is still a myriad of current unknown viruses in animal populations on land, sea, and air with the potential to cause human disease." Apparently, none of these viruses were in animal laboratories.
AIDS, cancer, genetic science and covert human medical experimentation
Although rejected completely by most scientists, the man-made theory of AIDS is a rational explanation for the origin of HIV. This theory is partly based on an awareness of the gene-polluting activities and species jumping virus experiments of irresponsible scientists during the two decades before the epidemic.
In addition, the record clearly shows that scientists and biowarfare scientists experiment secretly on unsuspecting people. Horrific aspects of the Cold War Human Radiation Experiments attest to the fact that covert medical experimentation is not an "X-Files" fantasy or a totally paranoid belief.
It is easy to understand why researchers might want to obscure the man-made origin for AIDS and blame primates. It is now apparent that most of the major researchers promoting the African primate origin of AIDS were connected with the largely secret Special Virus Cancer Program, or are scientists involved in the transfer of viruses in animal research, particularly primate research.
From the very beginning of the epidemic, researchers disclaimed any connection between AIDS and cancer, as well as any connection between HIV and animal retrovirus cancer research. In 1984, Gallo originally named HIV a cancer-causing "leukemia/lymphoma" virus. To obscure the cancer connection, the name was immediately changed to "lymphotropic" virus.
My own Kaposi's sarcoma research, first published in medical journals in 1981, showed "cancer-associated bacteria" as possible infectious agents in "classic" KS tumors. Before HIV was discovered in 1984, additional papers in 1982 and 1983 showed similar cancer bacteria in the enlarged lymph nodes and KS tumors of gay men with "gay cancer" and AIDS. Since the 1950s, cancer-associated bacteria have been linked to viruses, as well as to mycoplasmas. This aspect of cancer research has been suppressed for decades by the cancer establishment. A history of this research and its relevancy to AIDS is the subject of my books, AIDS: The Mystery and the Solution [1984] and The Cancer Microbe: The Hidden Killer in Cancer, AIDS and Other Immune Diseases [1990].
Gallo, in his 1991 book, falsely claims that no infectious agent had ever been found in KS. The refusal of AIDS scientists to recognize cancer microbe research, published in peer reviewed scientific journals, is a further indication that the AIDS establishment seeks to control all aspects of HIV research in such a way as to never connect the origin of AIDS with previous cancer research and covert biological warfare research. This cover-up conceals the possibility that AIDS, in reality, is a new man-made form of infectious and contagious cancer.
Could a small coterie of government scientists concoct a bogus (but scientifically plausible) primate theory of AIDS origin and bamboozle the public to believe it in order to cover-up the truth?
In the 1930s the highly respected German scientific community was entirely transformed by fascist beliefs proclaiming the genetic inferiority of the Jews and the genetic superiority of the German Master Race. This Nazi takeover of science and the media eventually led to the murder of millions in the Holocaust. Could the genetic science surrounding the origin of AIDS obscure a genocidal and world depopulation program of man-made origin?
It is time for the man-made theory of HIV to be examined fairly. Proponents of this theory should not be dismissed as paranoid conspiracy theorists; and AIDS educators should educate themselves about this hidden history of AIDS and its implications for the origin of HIV.
How many more species jumping viruses will we have to endure before we question the integrity and the agenda of scientists who still blissfully jump viruses between species in animal laboratories?
Lawrence K. Altman, the Times reporter who in 1999 wrote that the origin of the AIDS virus was solved, recently asked "Where did AIDS come from?" Now seemingly undecided, Altman answers, "We can only guess. Determining the answer would be important because discovering how AIDS came to be an epidemic might prevent a similar catastrophe in the future." ("The AIDS questions that linger," January 30, 2001).
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how researchers could have created HIV and how they could have transferred the virus to gays and blacks in a covert medical experimentation for genocidal or population control purposes.
The secrecy and scientific disinformation surrounding the Human Radiation Experiments of the Cold War era has taught us how easily government scientists can fool the public on scientific matters. And when it comes to scientific monkey business, researchers know that most people are chumps.

SYNTHETIC BIOLOGICAL AGENTS
There are two things about the biological agent field I would like to mention. One is the possibility of technological surprise. Molecular biology is a field that is advancing very rapidly and eminent biologists believe that within a period of 5 to 10 years it would be possible to produce a synthetic biological agent, an agent that does not naturally exist and for which no natural immunity could have been acquired.
MR. SIKES. Are we doing any work in that field?
DR. MACARTHUR. We are not.
MR. SIKES. Why not? Lack of money or lack of interest?
DR. MACARTHUR. Certainly not lack of interest.
MR. SIKES. Would you provide for our records information on what would be required, what the advantages of such a program would be. The time and the cost involved?
DR. MACARTHUR. We will be very happy to. The information follows:
The dramatic progress being made in the field of molecular biology led us to investigate the relevance of this field of science to biological warfare. A small group of experts considered this matter and provided the following observations:
1. All biological agents up the the present time are representitives of naturally occurring disease, and are thus known by scientists throughout the world. They are easily available to qualified scientists for research, either for offensive or defensive purposes.
2. Within the next 5 to 10 years, it would probably be possible to make a new infective microorganism which could differ in certain important aspects from any known disease-causing organisms. Most important of these is that it might be refractory to the immunological and therapeutic processes upon when we depend to maintain our relative freedom from infectious disease.
3. A research program to explore the feasibility of this could be completed in approximately 5 years at a total cost of $10 million.
4. It would be very difficult to establish such a program. Molecular biology is a relatively new science. There are not many highly competent scientisis in the field., almost all are in university laboratories, and they are generally adequately supported from sources other than DOD. However, it was considered possible to initiate an adequate program through the National Academy of sciences - National Research Council (NAS-NRC, and tentative plans were made to initiate the program. However decreasing funds in CB, growing criticism of the CB program., and our reluctance to involve the NAS NRC in such a controversial endeavor have led us to postpone it for the past 2 years.
It is a highly controversial issue and there are many who believe such research should not be undertaked lest it lead to yet another method of massive killing of large populations. On the other hand, without the sure scientific knowledge that such a weapon is possible, and an understanding of the ways it could be done. there is little that can be done to devise defensive measures. Should an enemy develop it there is little doubt that this is an important area of potential military technological inferiority in which there is no adequate research program. And in any case you don't actually die from AIDS but from other related illnesses as a result of having virtually no immune system
example: if you are diagnosed HIV+ and catch pneumonia and die this would be classed as AIDS, but if you catch pneumonia and die, you're dead because of pneumonia.

i will give all that i can over a period of time. I am sure you will come to the same enlightenment on this subject, which wil complement the light that all of us shine.
Put the following into persepective. The European media treats Black People in utter contempt. Only if you have made it in the public eye will a black person be considered humane by the media, and then the fun takes on a new twist. You become the object of a direct attempt to compromise yourself as a black person, thereby at a stroke complementing and continuing the war of slavery, i.e, ensuring the black mass is kept at the botttom of humanity, while those on top simultaneously rape the land and the people.
I have so much to tell.
One morning, whilst listening to a radio news item on Sudan, (somehwere in the early hours of the morning), the programme aired a recorded statement from a child in Dafur. This child said, and I paraphrase '(he or she) saw a 'armed white man on horseback lead a marouding gang through their village, also planes shot up the village'. Now, I was vindicated. I KNEW that this whole Sudan thing was being orchestrated by europeans on the ground, paying the locals to do their bidding. By the way during normal waking hours, this report was never aired.
The western media would have you believe the white man was a light skinned 'peshmerga' and the planes were government military planes killing their own nation. In reality the 'peshmerga are rebels who the CIA pay and indoctrinate to grab power and the government planes are mercenaries buying planes and terrorizing peoples of colour all over the world.
Remember, Mark Thatcher, brought a plane that was used to fly mercenaries to another african country to start a coup. Well interestingly, that plane was purchsed initially for a mission in Sudan...does the penny drop yet.

The Stunning Investigative Story on the Birth of Balochistan Liberation

MARCH 1: Deception and treachery. Live and let die. The ultimate zero
sum game. Repetition of bloody history: Call it what you may, something
is happening in the P*kistani province of Balochistan that defies
comprehension on any conventional scale.
Four correspondents and dozens of associates who collectively logged
more than 5000 kilometers during the past seven weeks in pursuit of a
single question – What is happening in Balochistan? – have only been
able to uncover small parts of the entire picture.
However, if the parts have any proportional resemblance to the whole, it
is a frightening and mind-boggling picture. Every story must start
somewhere. This story should conveniently have started on the night of 7
January 2005 when gas installations at Sui were rocketed and much of
P*kistan came to almost grinding halt for about a week. Or, we should
have taken the night of 2 January 2005 as the starting point when an
unfortunate female doctor was reportedly gang-raped in Sui. However, the
appropriate point to peg this story is January 2002 and we shall return
to it in a minute.
Actually, the elements for the start of insurgency in Balochistan had
been put in place already and the planners were waiting for a convenient
catalyst to set things in motion. The gang-rape of 2 Jan, around which
this sticky situation has been built, was just the missing ingredient
the planners needed.
Two former KGB officers explained that the whole phenomenon has been
assembled on skilful manipulation of circumstances. We shall keep
returning to their comments throughout this report.
As P*kistan and India continue to mend fences, as Iran, P*kistan and
India try to pool efforts to put a shared gas pipeline, as P*kistan,
Afghanistan and Turkmenistan join hands to lay a natural gas pipeline of
great economic and strategic importance, as the United States continues
to laud the role of P*kistan as a frontline nation in war against
terrorism, as Chinese contractors forge ahead with construction work in
Gwadar port and on trans-Balochistan highway, as the P*kistan government
makes efforts to bring Balochistan under the rule of law and eliminate
safe havens for terrorists and drug barons, as the whole region tries to
develop new long-term models to curb terrorism and bring prosperity to
far flung areas, there is a deadly game going on in the barren and
hostile hills of Balochistan. Liens are muddy; there are no clear-cut
sectors to distinguish friends from foes.
Right in the beginning we would like to clarify that when we say
Indians, we mean some Indians and not the Indian government because we
don’t have any way of ascertaining whether the activities of some Indian
nationals in P*kistan represent the official policy of their government
or is it merely the adventurism of some individuals or organizations.
When we say Iranians or Afghans, we mean just that: Some Iranians or
Afghans. We don’t even know whether the Iranian and Afghan players in
Balochistan are trying to serve the interests of their countries or
whether their loyalties lie elsewhere.
But – and it is a BUT with capital letters – when we say Americans or
Russians, we have reasons to suspect that the American and Russian
involvement in Balochistan is sanctioned, at least in part, by Pentagon
(if not White House) and Kremlin.
We would also like to acknowledge that the picture we have gathered is
far from complete and except for the explanatory comments of two former
KGB officials, we have no way of connecting the dots in any meaningful
sequence. For the sake of honesty, this story should better remain
abrupt and incomplete. The story we are going to tell may sound a lot
like cheap whodunit but that is what we found out there.
Before zooming in to January 2002, let’s set the background. We
consulted Sasha and Misha, two former KGB officers who are Afghanists –
the veterans of Russo-Afghan war – and they seem to know Balochistan
better than most P*kistanis. Obviously, Sasha and Misha are not their
real names. They live on the same street in one of the quieter suburbs
of Moscow. Two bonds tie them together in their retirement: While on
active duty in KGB, they were both frequent travelers to Balochistan
during the Russo-Afghan war where they were tasked to foment trouble in
P*kistan; and they are both wary of Vodka, the mandatory nectar of
Russian cloak and dagger community. They visit each other almost every
day and that is why it was easy to catch them together for long chats
over quantities of green tea and occasional bowls of Borsch.
We made more than a dozen visits to the single-bedroom flat of Misha,
where Sasha was also found more often than not, and we picked their
brains on Balochistan situation. As and when we unearthed new
information on Balochistan, we returned to Sasha and Misha for comments.
As they told us, during the Russo-Afghan war, the Soviet Union was
surprised by the ability and resourcefulness of P*kistan to generate a
quick and effective resistance movement in Afghanistan. To punish
P*kistan and to answer back in the same currency, Kremlin decided to
create some organizations that would specialize in sabotage activities
in P*kistan.
One such organization was BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army), the
brainchild of KGB that was built around the core of BSO (Baloch Students
Organization). BSO was a group of assorted left-wing students in Quetta
and some other cities of Balochistan. Misha and Sasha can be considered
among the architects of the original BLA.
The BLA they created remained active during the Russo-Afghan war and
then it disappeared from the surface, mostly because its main source of
funding – the Soviet Union – disappeared from the scene. In the wake of
9-11, when the United States came rushing to Afghanistan with little
preparation and less insight, the need was felt immediately to create
sources of information and action that should be independent of the
Government of P*kistan.
As Bush peered into the soul of Putin and found him a good guy, Rumsfeld
also did his own peering into the soul of his Russian counterpart and
found him a good game. The result was extensive and generous
consultation by Russian veterans who knew more about Afghanistan and
Balochistan than the Americans could hope to find.
It was presumably agreed that as long as their interests did not clash
with each other directly, the United States (or at least Pentagon) and
Kremlin would cooperate with each other in Balochistan. That brings us
to January 2002. “Actually, most of the elements were in place, though
dormant, and it was not difficult for anyone with sufficient resources
to reactivate the whole thing,� said Misha about the present-day BLA
that is blamed for most of the sabotage activities in Balochistan.
In January 2002, the first batch of ‘instructors’ crossed over from
Afghanistan into P*kistan to set-up the first training camp. That was
the seed from which the present insurgency has sprouted. It seemed like
a modest effort back then.
Only two Indians, two Americans, and their Afghan driver-guide were in a
faded brown Toyota Hilux double cabin SUV that crossed the border near
Rashid Qila in Afghanistan and came to Muslim Bagh in P*kistani province
of Balochistan on 17 January 2002. For this part of the journey, they
used irregular trails. From Muslim Bagh to Kohlu they followed the
regular but less-frequented roads.
In Kohlu they met with some Baloch youth and one American stayed in
Kohlu while two Indians and one American went to Dera Bugti and returned
after a few days. They spent the next couple of weeks in intense
consultations with some Baloch activists and their mentors and then the
work started for setting up a camp.
“Balach was one of our good boys and even though I don’t know who the
present operators are, it can be said safely that Kohlu must have been
picked as the first base because of Balach,� said Misha.
Balach Marri is the son of Nawab Khair Baksh Marri and he qualified as
an electronic engineer from Moscow. As was customary during those times,
any Baloch students in Russia were cultivated actively and lavishly by
the KGB. Balach was one of their success stories.
Because of intimate connections with India and Russia, it was no
surprise that Balach Marri was picked as the new head of the revived
BLA. The mountains between Kohlu and Kahan belong to the Marris.
The first camp had some 30 youth and initial classes comprised mainly of
indoctrination lectures. The main subjects were: 1. Baloch’s right of
independence, 2. The Concept of Greater Balochistan, 3. Sabotage as a
tool for political struggle, 4. Tyranny of Punjab and plight of
oppressed nations, and 5. Media-friendly methods of mass protest.
“Manuals, guidelines and even lecture plans were available in the
Kometit [KGB] archives. Except for media interaction, they virtually
followed the old plans,� told Sasha.
As was logical, the small arms and sabotage training soon entered the
syllabus. First shipment of arms and ammunition was received from
Afghanistan but as the number of camps grew, new supply routes were
opened from India.
Kishangarh is a small Indian town, barely five kilometers from P*kistan
border where the provinces of Punjab and Sindh meet. There is a supply
depot and a training center there that maintains contacts with militant
training camps in P*kistan, including Balochistan.
There is also a logistics support depot near Shahgarh, about 90
kilometers from Kishangarh, that serves as launching pad for the Indian
supplies and experts.
These were unimportant stations in the past but they have gained
increasing importance since January 2002 when Balochistan became the hub
of a new wave of foreign activity.
The method of transfer from India to Balochistan is simple. Arms and
equipment such as Kalashnikov, heavy machine guns, small AA guns, RPGs,
mortars, land mines, ammunition and communication equipment are
transferred from Kishangarh and Shahgarh to P*kistani side on camel back
and then they are shifted to goods trucks, with some legitimate cargo on
top and the whole load is covered by tarpaulin sheets. Arms and
equipment are, as a rule, boxed in CKD or SKD form.
The trucks have to travel only 140 or 180 kilometers to reach Sui and a
little more to reach Kohlu, a distance that can be covered in a few
hours only. This is most convenient route because transferring anything
from Afghanistan to these areas demands much sturdy vehicles that must
cover longer distance over difficult terrain.
The small arms and light equipment are mostly of Russian origin because
they are easily available, cheap, and difficult to trace back to any
single source.
This route is also handy for sabotaging the P*kistani gas pipelines
because the two main arteries of Sui pipe – Sui-Kashmore-Uch-Multan and
Sui-Sukkur – are passing, at some points, less than 45 kilometers from
the Indian border. Whoever planned these camps and the subsequent
insurgency, had to obtain initial help in recruitment and infrastructure
from Indian RAW. “When we first started the BLA thing, it was logical to
ask for RAW assistance because they have several thousands of ground
contacts in P*kistan, many of them in Balochistan,� said Sasha.
“Anyone wanting to set shop in P*kistan needs to lean on RAW,� added
Misha. The number of camps increased with time and now there is a big
triangle of instability in Balochistan that has some 45 to 55 training
camps, with each camp accommodating from 300 to 550 militants.
A massive amount of cash is flowing into these camps. American defence
contractors – a generic term applicable to Pentagon operatives in
civvies, CIA foot soldiers, instigators in double-disguise, fortune
hunters, rehired ex-soldiers and free lancers – are reportedly playing a
big part in shifting loads of money from Afghanistan to Balochistan. The
Americans are invariably accompanied by their Afghan guides and
interpreters.
Pay structure of militants is fairly defined by now. The ordinary
recruits and basic insurgents get around US $200 per month, a small
fortune for anyone who never has a hope of landing any decent government
job in their home towns. The section leaders get upward of US $300 and
there are special bonuses for executing a task successfully.
Although no exact amount of reward could be ascertained for specific
tasks, one can assume that it must be substantial because some BLA
activists have lately built new houses in Dalbandin, Naushki, Kohlu,
Sibi, Khuzdar and Dera Bugti. Also, quite a few young Baloch activists
have recently acquired new, flashy SUVs.
Oddly enough, there is also an unusual indicator for measuring the
newfound wealth of some Baloch activists. In the marriage ceremonies the
dancing troupes of eunuchs and cross-dressers are raking in much heavier
shower of currency notes than before.
Based on the geographic spread of training camps, one can say that there
is a triangle of extreme instability in Balochistan. This triangle can
be drawn on the map by taking Barkhan, Bibi Nani (Sibi) and Kashmore as
three cardinal points.
There is another, larger, triangle that affords a kind of cushion for
the first triangle. It is formed by Naushki, Wana (in NWFP) and
Kashmore. Actually, landscape of Balochistan is such that it offers
scores of safe havens, inaccessible to outsiders.
Starting from the coastline, there are Makran Coastal Range, Siahan
Range, Ras Koh, Sultan Koh and Chagai Hills that are cutting the land in
east-west direction. In the north-south direction, we find Suleman
Range, Kithara Range, Palma Range and Central Ravi Range to complete the
task of forming deep and inaccessible pockets. Few direct routes are
possible between the coastline and upper Balochistan. Only two roads
connect Balochistan with the rest of the country.
Apart from the triangles of instability that we have mentioned there is
an arc – a wide, slowly curving corridor – of extensive activity. It is
difficult to make out as to who is doing what in that corridor.
Here is how to draw this arc-corridor on the map: Mark the little Afghan
towns of Shah Ismail and Ziarat Sultan Vais Qarni on the map. Then mark
the towns of Jalq and Kuhak in Iran. Now, draw a slowly arching curve to
connect Shah Ismail with Kuhak and another curve to connect Ziarat
Sultan Vais Qarni with Jalq. The corridor formed by these two curves is
the scene of a lot of diverse activities and we have been able to gather
only some superficial knowledge about it. The towns of Dalbandin and
Naushki where foreign presence has become a matter of routine are
located within this corridor.
Different entities are making different uses of this corridor. Despite
employing some local help, we could find very little about the kind of
activity that is bubbling in this corridor.
We found that the Indian consulate in Zahidan, Iran, has hired a house
off Khayaban Danishgah, near Hotel Amin in Zahidan. This house is used
for accommodating some people who cross over from Afghanistan to
P*kistan and from P*kistan to Iran through the arched corridor we have
described. But who are those people and what are they doing, we could
not find.
We also found that although Pasdaran (Revolutionary Guards), the trusted
force directly under the control of Khamnei, are monitoring
Zahidan-Taftan road, there is no regular check post of Pasdaran on the
road between Khash and Jalq, making it easy for all kinds of elements to
cross here and there easily.
We also found that the border between Afghanistan and Iran is mostly
under the control of Pasdaran who come down hard on any illegal border
movement and that is why the arched corridor passing through P*kistan is
the favorite route for any individuals and groups including American
‘defence contractors’ and their Afghan collaborators who may have the
need to go across or near the border of Iran. Not surprisingly, part of
this corridor is used by Iranians themselves when they feel the need to
stir some excitement in P*kistan. Iranians also use the regular road of
Zahidan-Quetta when they can find someone with legal documents as was
the case with an Iranian who has business interests both in P*kistan and
Iran and who came to Quetta just before the start of 7 Jan trouble. He
has not been heard of since then.
There is a coastal connection that also provides free access for
elements in Dubai and Oman to connect with militants in Balochistan.
This is a loosely defined route but there are three main landing points
in Balochistan: Eastern lip of Gwater Bay that lies in the Iranian
territory but affords easy crossover to P*kistan through unguarded land
border; 2. Open space between Bomra and Khor Kalmat; and 3. Easternmost
shoulder of Gwadar East Bay.
Some Indians, a curious mix of businessmen and crime mafia, came in
fishing boats from either Dubai or Oman and landed on the Gwater Bay in
the Iranian territory before the start of 7 Jan eruptions. From there
they traveled to Khuzdar and then Quetta where they met with some Baloch
militants. It is rumored in those areas that the Indians came with heavy
amounts of cash but there was no way of verifying it. They were escorted
both ways by some Sarawani Balochs who run their own fishing vessels.
Simultaneously, there were reports from our Washington correspondent
that some ‘sources’ in Pentagon had been trying to ‘leak’ the story to
the media that Americans and Israelis were carrying joint reccee
operations inside Iran and for that purpose they were using P*kistani
soil as launching point. The lead was finally picked and disseminated by
Seymour Hersh of The New Yorker.
However, from our own observations in the area we could not confirm this
report although there is a possibility that the curving corridor that we
have identified may have been used by the Americans and Israelis to
travel from Afghanistan into P*kistan and then into Iran and back for
this purpose although this is mere speculation, based on the movement of
foreigners in this area, and we can neither confirm nor deny the
substance of this report.
Also, there was some buzz, as reported by our correspondent in New
Delhi, that some high circles were questioning the wisdom of two-faced
policy of engaging Islamabad in peace dialogue while at the same time
supporting insurgent activity in Balochistan. It was also not clear as
to why Iran would be interested in stirring trouble in Balochistan when
it was faced by an imminent war from the American side and it needed all
the allies it could muster on its side and one of those allies could
possibly be P*kistan.
It was also difficult to reconcile Iranian involvement in Balochistan
with the fact that Iran-P*kistan-India gas pipeline, that is a crucial
project for Iran, was in the final stages of negotiation and there
seemed no logical point in sending mixed signals by creating
difficulties in Balochistan.
These were some of the questions that we took to Misha and Sasha and
here is the explanation they gave. Their answers came in bits and pieces
but we have reconstructed their replies in the form of one coherent
interview:
Question: What was the purpose of Russian invasion of Afghanistan?
Misha: The Soviet Union was not in love with Afghanistan itself and by
now everyone must have understood it. We, or at least our leaders,
wanted a convenient corridor to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean --
the idea was to first establish full control in Kabul and from there to
raise the double-bogey of Pakhtunistan and Greater Balochistan and try
to detach at least a part of Balochistan from P*kistan and to either
merge it as a new province of Afghanistan or to create a new country
that should be under the firm control of Moscow. That would have solved
most of the problems facing Kremlin.
Question: When you helped create BLA back in the 1980’s, what objectives
did you have in mind?
Sasha and Misha: It was simply an instrument to create problems in
P*kistan. There were no ideological reasons – it was merely a pragmatic
solution for a strategic problem.
Question: Who could have revived BLA after so many years of inactivity?
Misha: Most likely, Pentagon. With good lot of support from Kremlin. You
should keep in mind that reviving such an organization is a tricky task
and it needs active support from a number of players. Pentagon and
Kremlin would not be able to do much without some help from RAW that has
hundreds of active contacts all over Balochistan. Russia could have
helped negotiate the involvement of Balach Marri in the project.
Sasha: RAW must have jumped at the chance because last July the
‘discretionary grants’ budget [a euphemism for espionage fund] was
increased by 700% in the Indian consulates in Kandahar, Jalalabad and
Zahidan.
Misha: Yes, discretionary grants are not subject to central audit and
the station chief can do what he wants with it.
Sasha: Balach possibly came to head the revived BLA through Russian
facilitation but you cannot say the same for Sardar Ataullah Mengal. He
returned from his self imposed exile in London and established his
headquarters in Kohlu. Was it a mere coincidence? I don’t think so. In
all probability, he is the American man to keep a check on Balach
because Americans can never fully trust Russians.
Question: From your comments it appears that Balach and Mengal are
heading the resurrected BLA and the BLA has been revived by the
Americans and Russians to create trouble in Balochistan but could you
give us any coherent reasons for going to such great lengths for
disturbing P*kistan that is supposed to be a frontline ally of the
United States on its war against terrorism?
Misha and Sasha: [Misha laughed so hard that tears came to his eyes
while Sasha merely kept smiling in an absentminded way] – Frontline
ally? Are you kidding? Americans are using P*kistan and P*kistanis would
soon find it out if they have not already. Americans don’t need that
kind of allies and they have made it abundantly clear for anyone who can
read their policy goals correctly. Let them deal with Iran and you would
see. If there can be any desirable American ally in that region, that is
Iran – Iran under a different regime, and they are working to that end.
Except for Balochistan, the rest of P*kistan is useless for them.
Question: It is still not clear from your answer as to what do the
Pentagon and Kremlin hope to achieve by stirring trouble in Balochistan?
Sasha: Americans have two long-term policy objectives in that region:
First, create a safe and reliable route to take all the energy resources
of Central Asia to the continental United States, and second, to contain
China.
Misha: Balochistan offers the shortest distance between the Indian ocean
and the Central Asia, that is to say, shortest distance outside of the
Gulf. The moment the conditions are ripe, Americans would like to take
all the oil and gas of Central Asia to Gwadar or Pasni and from there to
the United States.
Question: If the Americans are interested in creating safe channel for
shipping energy resources through Balochistan, why would they encourage
trouble there?
Misha: That is for now. By inciting trouble, they would effectively
discourage Trans-Afghan Pipeline or any other project that is intended
for sending Central Asian resources to South Asia. They are not
interested in strengthening the South Asian economies by allowing them
to obtain sensibly priced oil and gas. They would be more interested in
taking all they can to their own country and let everyone else starve if
that is the choice.
Sasha: The Americans would also like to discourage China from entering
into more development projects in Balochistan than it already has. By
developing the port and roads in Balochistan, China is ultimately
helping itself by creating a convenient conduit for commerce that would
connect China concurrently with Central Asia, South Asia, and
all-weather Balochistan ports. The space is limited – where China gains,
America loses, and where America gains, China loses.
Questions: OK. This sounds plausible. But what interest could Russia
have in helping Pentagon in this trouble-Balochistan project?
Sasha: Russia has its own policy goals and as far as the present phase
of creating trouble in Balochistan is concerned, American and Russian
goals are not in conflict with each other. Russia wants to maintain its
monopoly over all the energy resources of Central Asia. At present, the
Central Asian countries are dependent entirely on Russia for export of
their gas project succeeds, it would open the floodgates of exodus.
Central Asian countries would understandably rush to the market that
pays 100% in cash and pays better price than Russia. It is therefore
very clear that by keeping Balochistan red hot, Russia can hope to
discourage Trans-Afghan pipeline or any other similar projects. Russian
economy in its present form is based on the monopoly of Gazprom and if
Gazprom goes under, so will the Russian economy at some stage.
Question: So far, there is some in sense what you have said but how
would explain Indian involvement in the Balochistan revolt?
Sasha: India has its own perceived or real objectives. For instance,
India would go to great lengths to prevent P*kistan from developing a
direct trade and transportation route with Central Asia because it would
undermine the North-South corridor that goes through Iran. Also, while
the acute shortage of energy may have compelled India to extend limited
cooperation to P*kistan, the preferable project from Indian point of
view still remains the Iran-P*kistan-India gas pipeline.
Misha: Moreover, you cannot ignore the fact that India is preparing to
use Afghanistan as its main artery system to connect with Central Asia
and it would not allow P*kistan to share this sphere if it can.
Question: What about Iran? Why should Iran be a party to it?
Misha: Iran has incurred great expenses to develop Chah Bahar, the port
that is supposed to be the Iranian answer to P*kistani ports of Gwadar
and Pasni. Iran has also done lot of work to create excellent road link
between Herat and Chah Bahar. All this would go to waste if P*kistani
route comes on line because it is shorter and offers quick commuting
possibilities between Central Asia and Indian Ocean.
Sasha: At the same time you need to allow certain margin of
unreliability when dealing with Iran. You cannot be sure whether they
mean what they are saying and you cannot be sure whether they would keep
their promises. They do what suits them best and to hell with any
commitments. I am sorry but that is how I judge Iran.
Question: While both of you have given some explanation of American,
Russian, Iranian and Indian involvement in Balochistan, what is the role
of Afghanistan?
Sasha: There are many influential circles in Afghanistan that are deadly
opposed to P*kistan for one reason or the other. While Afghanistan as a
country may not be harboring any ill will against P*kistan, it is
difficult to rule out the possibility that some power circles would not
be inclined to damage P*kistan wherever they can. It is clear from the
recent developments that as India, Iran and Afghanistan have made great
strides to form some kind of economic, trade and transportation
alliance, all efforts have been made to exclude P*kistan from any such
deal.
Question: While BLA is being used by a number of power players for their
own objectives, does it have any potential, even as a byproduct, to
serve the cause of Baloch people?
Misha and Sasha: BLA is not the only fish in the pond. There is Baloch
Ittehad and there is PONAM and there is lots of small fry out there. But
none of them can be expected to do any good to the Balochi people
because the command this time is mostly in the hands of Baloch Sardars
and they have no past record of bringing any benefit to their own
people. If anything, they are known to sell their own people down the
river.

Sardar Mehrulla Marri sold all mineral and petroleum rights of Khatan
region to the British government in 1885 for a paltry sum of Rs. 200 per
month. There was no time limit to this agreement – it was, as they say,
in perpetuity.
In 1861, Jam of Bela allowed the British government to put a telegraph
line through his territory, thus helping substantially the British
government in consolidating its control over large areas of Balochistan.
He received less than Rs. 900 per month for this disservice to his own
people and took the responsibility to safeguard the telegraph line. In
1883, the Khan of Kalat sold the Quetta district and adjoining
territories to the British government. This was an outright sale. The
agreement that was signed in Dasht, included the provision that the
heirs and successors of Khan of Kalat would also be bound by the same
agreement. He received annual grant of Rs. 25000 for selling the most
attractive part of Balochistan to the British government.
In the same year, the British government paid Rs. 5500 to the Bugti
Sardar for his cooperation although it was not specified as to what kind
of cooperation he extended to the British government.
While the Baloch Sardars were enthusiastically selling Balochistan to
the British government, there was no support to the idea of P*kistan
whereas the ordinary Balochs gave full approval for P*kistan. Any
positive development in Balochistan would go against the interests of
Sardars and only a fool would expect them to do anything for the good of
their people. Bear in mind that Marri and Mengal Sardars first stood up
against the P*kistan government when the law was passed to abolish
Sardari system in Balochistan to free the ordinary Balochs from the
clutches of their tribal leaders.
Question: The way the things are progressing in Balochistan, what could
be the likely outcome?
Misha: If no strong action is taken for another few months, the result
could be bifurcation of P*kistan.
Question: Is that the only likely outcome?
Misha: No. In fact, that is the farthest possible scenario but that
could eventually happen if P*kistan fails to assess, analyze and address
the situation quickly. For example, I have yet to see any P*kistani
effort to contact the ordinary Balochs. They are still trying to woo the
same Sardars who are living on the blackmail money since the creation of
P*kistan.
Sasha: I am surprised at the way P*kistan goes about tackling this
problem. During my few years in Afghanistan when I was engaged with
Balochistan, I found that while Baloch Sardars would sell their
loyalties and anything else at the drop of a hat, ordinary Balochs are
stupidly patriotic. They are hard to buy and harder to manipulate. If I
were a P*kistan government functionary, I would gather enough ordinary,
educated Balochs to counter the Sardar influence and deflate this whole
insurgency balloon.
Question: Both of you were, let’s say, among the developers of the
original BLA. Do you find any differences between the original and the
present BLA?
Misha and Sasha: Plenty. Original BLA was mostly led by the young people
and Baloch Sardars had very little to do with it but the present BLA is
concentrated in the hands of Sardars.
The present movement in Balochistan, led by BLA, PONAM and Baloch
Ittehad is a mismatched concoction of ancient and modern.
They are trying to run a modern media campaign but there are crucial
gaps in that effort. Ours were different times and we could do without
media support. They have created a list of P*kistani journalists who are
supposed to be sympathetic to any move against the government and they
are feeding them daily a mixture of truth and lies, a practice that has
been perfected by the Pentagon.
They managed to bring some Baloch women in Dera Bugti but the results
would be little if they cannot repeat the performance in most other
areas of Balochistan.
They have built their campaign around a single incident – the Sui
gang-rape – and if the Government is smart enough, it would hang the
real culprits and ask the victim of the rape to announce publicly that
she was satisfied with the justice meted out to the criminals and that
would take all the wind out of the sails of the BLA campaign. A real
hard campaign needs to be built around much broader and hard to solve
issues.
Question: Hypothetically speaking, if the P*kistan government asked your
advice, what would you suggest?
Sasha: The options are few. They should abolish Sardari system
immediately and crack down powerfully on the private armies. As far as I
know, the constitution of P*kistan does not allow Sardari system and
private armies and there would be no legal questions if those laws are
implemented with the full help of state power.
Misha: They should involve broadest possible range of ordinary Balochs
in the dialogue. The can find enough educated youth in Marri and Mengal
tribes to match the influence of tribal leaders. They should also allow
the fragments of Bugti tribe to return to their ancestral lands and that
would be enough to calm down the ageing and eccentric Bugti who pretends
to be the leader of that tribe.
Sasha: P*kistan government should hasten the development process in the
province because it would open job opportunities and that would allow
the escape hatch to ordinary Balochs to distance themselves from their
leaders.
Misha: They should try to cut down the sources and channels of supply of
arms and cash to insurgents.

British Terrorist Assualt on Zimbabwe
1st February 2002

The British Foreign Secretary, Jack Staw, a once radical student leader, of the British National Union of Students in 1968, is doing his rounds to expel Zimbabwe from the British Commonwealth. This remnant of British Colonialism, now acts as a international Pressure Group, and a lingering relic for British imperialism. The so-called 'Aid' packages which flow from this body is claimed by some to be the greatest benefit of the organization. However, when it came to the 'Banana Issue' with the World Trade Organization, (WTO) the British Commonwealth and Britain, in particular, were like a fish with a bicycle.
However, in the atmosphere of 'fighting terrorism', the United States and Britain, who played an important role in defending Ian Smith's Rhodesian Front and his Setters regime in the 1960/70s, have resumed their war against the Zimbabwean people.
Confronted by outside interference and naked destabilization by right-wing Contra elements and organizations in the West, President Robert Mugabe, was forced to initiate protective measures. Some of these measure included dealing with the racist 'European controlled media' and a foreign controlled and directed 'Opposition Party'. Strangely enough, many of the leaders in the 'Opposition Party' supported the Ian Smith's Rhodesian Front regime during the Chimurenga (War of Liberation). Despite the Britain's failure to comply with the 'Lancaster House Agreement 1980', Britain has accused Cde. President Mugabe with everything and anything except, being a 'child of God'.
After the Second World War, the British settled a large number of White Britons in what was then Southern Rhodesia and Kenya on Afrikan land. These White Settlers were given training and finance to farm the most arable lands in both countries, thereby pushing the Afrikans into the cities and as farm labourers on land which they once owned. In Kenya, the 'Land and Freedom' movement led by Field Marshall Dedam Kimathi ( Elder Kimathi was hanged by the British and buried in a unmarked prison grave) 1950/60s, was defeated from within the movement and outside the movement with the support of British Colonial Troops from Uganda and Somalia. In Zimbabwe, after the Zimbabwean Afrikan Liberation Army, (ZANLA) with the support of Frelimo of Mozambique, and the JW (Tanzanian Defence Force) of Tanzania, broke the back of the Smith/Botha/NATO, military pack, the British called the 'Lancaster House Agreement 1980', in London to save what was left of the White Settlers regime.
Despite the opposition to any settlement short of total victory on the battlefield led by Cde. Minister of Defence, Joshua Tangogara, the former General-Secretary of the Zimbabwean Afrikan Nation Union(ZANU)Cde. Robert Mugabe, with the support of the Frontline States agreed to a compromise with the British/United States axis. Labeled 'Terrorist', 'Communist' etc, Cde. President Mugabe, agreed to corporate with the former 'Ian Smith/Bishop Abel Muzorewa' gang, despite rejection from the ZANLA military leadership. Ian Smith's Terrorist gang leader, General Peter Wall, was appointed by Cde. President Robert Mugabe, with the prompting of Lord Soumes (Britain's Chief Imperialist Architect in Zimbabwe) , to head the then newly formed 'Zimbabwean Armed Forces'(ZAF). During the 'Lancaster House Conference' Cdes Tangogara, Zingi, Rex, amd othet ZANLA Military Commanders called for the hanging of Peter Wall, Ian Smith and other 'War Criminals' but the British and the United States, rejected this proposal. British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher referred to the hanging of the Rhodesian War Criminals as 'obsurd'.
General Wall was finally forced out of the position as Head of the Zimbabwean Armed Forces, after he attempted to overthrow the ZANU-PF popularly elected government using reactionary elements from Vice-President, Elder Joshua Nkomo's 'Zimbabwean African People's Union'(ZAPU-PF). As a result, Cde. Defence Minister, Tangorara, was murdered by imperialism and passed off as a motor accident in Maputo, Mozambique, to silence the opposition. In the absence, of Minister Tangorara, and failure of the General Wall inspired coup d'etat, imperialism attempted to destabilize Zimbabwe, by playing on ethnic differences inside the Zimbabwean Armed Forces. Cde. Mugabe and the ZANU-PF Central Committee, asked and received assistance from the Republic of North Korea to train their 'Fifth Brigade', who eventually brought calm to the situation in the country. However, as the 'War Veterans' sharpened the contradiction around the land issue in Zimbabwe, the 'Fifth Brigade' were send to the Democratic Republic of the Congo,(DRC) to fight against the Clinton Administration's attempt to overthrow the Laurent Kabila's neo-Marxist Government.
As our ancestors have taught us, "What goes around comes around", as a result Cde. Mugabe's compromise has returned to haunt him. Elder Muhammed Babu, Tanzania's former Development Minister, and one of my early mentors, told an audience at 'Africa Centre', Covent Gardens, London, in 1980, "any compromise with the fascist in Zimbabwe, will result in the defeat of the people's objectives."
Elder Babu, knew from his experience resisting imperialism in Zanzibar, that it must be defeated or it will return, seeking your destruction. Now the "chicken has come home to roost", and Cde. President Mugabe, is hanging on the ropes, trying to plea his case to the Black world. The question is, has the Black World leadership gone deaf, or with the historical revisionism spearheaded by the British Broadcasting Corporation, and their satellite stations in Black countries, they are suffering from amnesia and the fear of being accused of supporting terrorism. With the upcoming so-called 'Commonwealth Conference' let us all hope that in the absence of our Caribbean giant Cde. Michael Manley of Jamaica, the new Caribbean leadership will remember who are the real terrorists.

The cure for AIDS is quite simple. Round up everybody with the disease and then kill them. Sooner or later it will have to be done. Of course we're too humane for that sort of behaviour, so we'd rather just sit back and watch as companies make millions selling drugs which do everything but cure the disease. And hey it's still spreading. The question is how far do people want this disease to spread in the world.
Kill people, or watch people die from a long lingering and sometimes painfull illness, oh and while spreading the virus further into other people too so that they can suffer the same fate.

I say spade and you see garden, with two trees, and a fence, plus the next door neigbours yard, house and kitchen. Not to mention the food in her cupboard eh!.

Interesting that you think of things of being tough. Life is fantastically easy especially in the UK. Then again when you plan things out beforehand it would seem that way. But hey keep groping around in the dark.
Obviously I touched a nerve with my AIDs comment so much so that you created a fantasy in your head to cover that fact and then project your insecurities and fantasies about life onto me. . Too bad... and so easy to see from a mile off..
What is it they say?. Misery loves company. *lol* Lets just suppose that you really believed what you said about me. What sort of person believes a person to be Jaded and depressed and then tells them to hang themselves. I can almost see it now, in 20 years time some madassed dictator unites the African continent and their first target is those with the HIV virus, since they're a potential threat to the security and heatlh of the African people. Of course the west would never allow that, just think of all the money they'd lose out on.
Oh well nevermind, people can continue to quientese meekly while people continue to die anyway.
However it's one terrible solution to a horrible and potentially irreversible problem.
Personally I don't like seeing stats that state that 40% of lets say South Africans carry the HIV virus, whether it's true or not is not important, the fact the that stats never seem to get any better is.
Some people like seeing trojan horses turn into avalanches though, pretty much why the virus was created in the first place.
Killing people doesn't stop a people from breeding. But giving them a reason not to breed (potential deadly infection) will eventually wipe them out anyway.

I'm still trying to figure how "Tammy" and "religion" are relevant? Maybe some sort of subconscious past trying to reemerge from it's larval form.
