Can somebody explain to me how I get my ipod to work with windows 98 as I dont really want to upgrade for the sake of a silly ipod
Ie found the 98 driver for the ipod and tried to copy/paste the tunes direct into the folder as it comes up as a mass storage device but when I look in the ipod the tunes aint there???
cam somebody help?

Are these ipods compatible with windows media player?
I mean can I transfer my playlists and songs from media player to the ipod?
Im thinking of getting one but if they cant do that then Ill forget it.

Looking through the instructions I cant see why not
the itunes software you get with it does all the importing/exporting for you

| I am thinking of getting (or harrassing my family at christmas for!!) an ipod mini. But call me backward, i am not sure how it works. I know you can d/l music from their itunes site onto it, but when it comes to your own CDs do you just download your CD's onto your laptop then conect the ipod to your laptop and down load the music onto it? Will it be compatible with XP? Thanx for any feedback
