Can somebody suggest a good program for video editing and burning?
I have lots of video files on my pc in formats like mpg, avi, xvid, divx and so on. I'd like to burn them onto DVD.
Now I have a burner with the basic software that comes with it but you can't edit video on that. I want to cut and splice the files I have and also put chapters on them so I dont have to fast forward for 10 mins to get to good bits. Also the software I have cant read xvid format and I have a few files of those so I need something to convert them or read that.
Who knows a good program for me?

All hail the time is nigh!
The DVD turntable is amongst us! Cut, splice and scratch DVD movies with full effect, mix it with music and all sorts. Not sure if it can record to be honest but there are diffrent versions some even have an MP3 slot so you can mix net videos from your IPod/other HHD device as well.
Would love to have one as my standard DVD/CD player but thats just me being materialistic.
Technics SL-DZ1200 Digital Turntable.
Stick with the Pioneer or Technics though.

I have NERO and it's not all that for converting files though it burns ok.

You misunderstand, I'm dealing with video files not audio ones

They're video turntables... you can cut, edit, mix and all sorts with them. Theres even video DJs out there now.
