WTF is this crap??...damm thing installed itsself while I was searchin for a crack and I had to reboot my whole system???
thing bupassed all my spyware programs and alterd my system files flooded my ish with viruses too!!
does anyone know if It had a key logger in it as my girl too farse and orderd something off the net while the ish was still on there ( I was OUT!!)
holla back if you can shed some info.

It suddenly installed itself on my comp too about 3 weeks ago and said I had 15 highly dangerous threats to my system and directed me to some website telling me to pay x amount of money to get an activation code that would help get rid of the dangerous threats.
Unfortunately I'm no good with fixing comps so i just handed it over to a computer whiz to fix and don't really know exactly what they did, but apparently the system was riddled with loads of viruses that I was unaware of.... What I want to know is why and how Spysheriff could just install itself onto my comp without me doing anything?

i had the same problem , i had to transfer files from one drive to another and format the drive and start a fresh , links like this was not available when i got this virus over a month ago .

In regards, I would suggest that you make a backup of your important stuff and format your computer just to be on the safe side.
With certain crack sites, there are viruses attached with some of these cracks. Luckily for me, my anti virus software picks it up before anything can happen.

I have something similar running on my Computer right now as well but it's called the SpySpotter?
It only appeared after I placed an order on-line for my Mothers Birthday present. As Black _power said above, It installed it'self.
My computer has been shutting on & off by its-self & I get this Attention window popping up everytime I'm on the computer. It's says....SpySpotter System Defender has detected a new process running on your system. It shows me the Process path,Company Name & Process Name. Then at the very bottom it says do you want to block or allow? Clicking on either routes you to another part of the system where it ask for Credit Card information for the complete Use of the service. I don't want the service! Can't seem to delete it from my computer either. I don't really know awhole lot about computers but I will try the link that soulgrooveuk gave & see if that might help.

Two different names SpySpotter SpySheriff thought maybe the link would work because they both do the same. After reading the Link don't think it will work for mine. Anybody have any suggestions of what I may be able to do to remove this program?
Any & all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried Start->Control Panel->Add Remove Programs?

Thank you Huzzah1 & Cell. I have it removed from my computer. I did catch a Virus. Good Morning America actually did a piece about some new Virus that was being sent out to computers.
I don't think I will order off line ever again
