I am designing a website and am having problems with my Form. I would like a user to fill in the form with their name, adress and enquiry and when they click the send button I want to receive the email in my Mailbox.
The code I used is when you click send it opens Outlook with nothing on it except my email adress. This is not how I want it
Please can someone help?, Which code do I use.

| You are probably just using javascript at the moment to open a "new message" window. If you want it to directly send the mail, you will have to use some sort of Server Side Scripting either ASP or PHP. You need to make sure your web host supports one of these before you start though and that it allows you to send mails from their servers.

Don't know what language you are using but the book:
PHP, MySQL and Apache by Julie C. Meloni
has the stuff you are talking about on page 213.

I think that you can use something like...
mailto:user@domain.com?Subject=Testing
...for the "mailto" link, however that is as complex as it is going to be. To do anything other than that you will definitely need something running on the server that will handle things properly. Also, you don't cover the instance where someone may be using a computer that doesn't have an email client properly configured on it (i.e., surfing the web using a computer at a public library). You should contact your web hosting provider and ask them if they have something called "formmail". Most providers do have one available, and they should be able to provide you with instructions on how to insert it into your web site.
Of course, not all formmail programs are alike (many are very basic, and some have security holes), and if your provider does not have one that can allow you to specify the form fields, then you will definitely have to download, configure, and install one on your web site.
