Hey Babygirl44, I agree that things are getting a bit out of hand. And your point about demonizing a whole race is a valid one. However as a black man I can also see the other side. For instance although I may talk to and on occassion lime with white people, at the back of my mind I will never ever trust them because on so many occassions, historically and present day, I have seen that trust betrayed. In a similar way, although I attempt to treat all asians I meet on merit, I am nonetheless in no doubt regarding the way the majority of asian view black people especially in areas where they, asians,are concentrated.
Most asians like to consider themselves black when it is their best interest to so and to distant themselves and demonize black people when it is not. Thus while i don't agree with painting a whole race with one brush I also think the 'we are all the same' stance is somewhat naive for a black person to take. Once bitten, twice shy.
Regarding the whole argument about encouraging violence, in the past when black people from the caribbean first started coming here they literally had to fight to gain any sort of respect or peace in the communities they moved to. It was only after they started showing the whites that they would not bow down or be pushed around that things started getting better. It was because of the battles my father and his generation fought that we can walk the streets of london with any sort of peace today.
So when asian youths start trying to imtimidate and push around blacks it is only natural that many will advocate meeting their aggression with aggression because talking rarely seems to work. Now I'm not saying to seek out confrontations or so but they must be made to realise that they may try to dress, talk and act like us but they are not us and if they start something we are more than able to finish it.

I agree with you on many points and commend you for not taking a confrontational tone. My father also had to literally fight for his life many times against everyone from Teddyboys to skinheads. My mum had to fight also and I know of men in the older generation who carried guns to protect their families back in the 60s. But if you read the very first post I made I never said that you shouldn't defend yourself and I never said that there were not INDIVIDUAL Asians trying to harm us. What I basically said was calm down the racist language, its not necessary. Do you need to use rascist language in order to tell your story? You haven't, and I again I agree with much of what you have said becaue you have spoken sensibly and like an adult.
I didn't ;ike the 'P*ki' this 'P*ki' that was coming out of the mouths of others and I am within my right to say this. There must be enough words in some of these people's vocabularys to avoid saying 'P*ki', 'slut' and '[censoredword]'.
Trust me I do know that a lot of individuals in other races feel they are above us and therefore I do watch my back, however, I have to say I don't condone calling the innocents in those groups racist names. I am not some Micheal Jackson ('Doesn't matter if your black or white) fantasist, growing up in a racist area taught me that not everyone who smiles in my face is my friend and I got called all kinds and had to fight back, however, I am still not going to call people to arms and call people 'P*ki'. I am not some black version of a white 197o's football neandothol thug, I'm above that.
My daddy told me to NEVER let anyone take a liberty with me but he would never advise me to attack someone first because they may want to harm me based on 3 stories he saw on the internet. That kind of fight first think later mentality puts people in jail and there are enough angry young black men out there with enough problems without us putting this kind of thinking into their heads to cause them to be put in to jail. If we as black people were to attack people of every other race that wanted to harm us, we would be forever fighting because trust me its not just some of the Asians who don't like us. Its every other race.
If people were thinking straight they would realise that more black people have been murdered by white people than anyone else so should we gather up and attack them all? No Sah, people on here are not going to get me caught up in their hysteria for me to put myself in jail.
Treat others as you would like to be treated and only fight when you have to.

Also Babygirl44 while I admit that I don't really see gangs of asians wandering around looking for black people to fight in my area and that this is probably your reality as well, that still doesn't give us license to assume that this is every black person's reality. There may very well be areas in the country where blacks do face serious pressure from the asian youths trying to prove they are bad. It is understandable then why when you told the american poster that some people are just exaggerating that many took offense.
That being said, I can't agree with some of the personal attacks being levelled at you. C'mon people, surely we can discuss the issue without denigrating each other. Damn...some people be giving themselves high-blood pressure for nothing. I agree that the idea of P*kistanis and others treatening black people is ting to get vex bout but lets try not to direct that vexation at each other nah.

I am not taking sides here..............but I had to intervene, although your concern is with the racist talk, you have to understand that as black people to hear horrid stories of mistreatment among your people it does make you go on attack and defend mode.............or else no race will survive................so yes racist language is used but it within reason.
What I do not like is for posters constant need to bring Gender into everything, yes we are aware men are leaders..............we have already went over this...........the only reason men are leaders is beacuse their discrimination against women in which they have been not given the chance to become leaders..ntohing to do with ability...........but then look around you their are female prime ministers around the world...........and they are re-elected..................so please all of that rubbish about women not knwoing certain things is simply rubbish.

so it is true ........u guys looooooooovvvveeeee to fight....hmmmmmm........
i wonder how the numerous short africans in my uni feel......since the only thing u guys usually talk about is about ur physique and all.......given the fact that most of the people who win iron man contests are usually caucasian......must be pretty depressing.......
......most indians have a lot more body mass which i read is usually due to genetics ......which means even if u pump up all the food u want it would make u fat but still would not change ur muscle ratio.........
u guys must have been so pissed off when that asian basket ball dude came along ............oooooohhhhhh ........i can just imagine the anger ........all the frustration.......seeing shaque dwarfed in height........must have been very very.......

Afro-American men are usually the most muscular and biggest men in the world. Southern Sudanese people and the Masai of Africa make up some of the tallest people in the world. West Africans are short but they are stocky and muscular and can still break your twiggy arms so what is your point exactly?

i bet in the night u probably dream about u being the 'hero' and 'saving ur people from the asians'. its not babygirl44 that needs to grow up....ITS U THAT NEEDS TO GROW UP.........most asians dont bother about africans. but when they do bother they try to get along. get on wikipedia and read about mauritius, its jus off the coast of africa and is probably the second most prosperous country in that region after south africa .........its true that indians constitute about 65% of the 1 million population .......but still they get along with the aboriginal mauritians, the chinese and the minority french.........we did manage to turn around the country ........even though indians were in power for a long time u didnt see us putting up racial divisions like what happened in south africa ..........the sad part is even though most of the colonial powers have long gone most african countries still have european languages as one of their national languages...........perhaps no one takes the intiative to educate these people about their languages.......and slowly day by day they lose their culture and language..........until they wont have any identity left........ DO SOMETHING FOR THESE PEOPLE PEACEMAKER DONT WASTE UR TIME DAY DREAMING ABOUT HEROICS.........

The good thing about this thread is black pep talking with one voice..
As for asians they are irrelevant. Why? Sit Why? Well the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
There is a race war coming in the UK. Asians (they all look the same) are in the firing line, and you watch how quick they'll be to come to their 'black brothers' (I'm taking the piss by the way).

In truth there's never been a better time to be black in the UK.

As for those bro's who have had "P*ki stress". My advice is learn something (martial art). I could not encourage the carrying of any tool's  . I have mixed feeling on this as I don't know any black girls who are going out with 'them'. There are some people in of our race who can't see them selves going out with other black ppl, either of sex or love, that's a rough thought but true.
As for P*kis coming on to our sis, it's pure malice. They are just out to prove they can fuk a black and there is nothing her family can do about it.
In fact, its worse than a white crossing over because she could still eat at his mother's table, but as for a P*ki, you know it's not happening in a billion years or a thousand kids.

@Peacemaker. No I didn't say anything to Anaym1 but when did I get the chance? You will see that my last post was at 7pm UK time and I said that I was going home. I have been in a client presentation since 9am UK time and this is the first time I have had a chance to sit at my desk so no I haven't said anything before now. However, I can see that he is being inflammatory about African height etc but anyone with an IQ above 50 can see that he is talking out of his arse and deliberately trying to wind us up. Just ignore him and he'll go away, enemies of our race will thrive on our angry responses so if you don't even address him, he will get bored and go away then eventually the mods will ban him.
I still maintain though that black people should be able to disgagree with eachother without insulting eachother personally. I appreciate that there have been victims of Asian brutality but we have been victims of brutality from everyone and thus I will still say that I hate racist language and we can inform people of our experiences without using blanket insults developed by white people. That is not the ways of our race and I feel that whenever someone resorts to using such language it says more about then than the person its directed at because what it says is that you fear that person and I don't fear other races because I have no insecurities about them and do not feel that they are better than me. Loss of anger shows loss of control because you cannot deal with a situation using your brain and that's why I will only fight at last resort I will never attack first. If they bring it on, I will fight back but I still think that although there may be isolated incidents we are not about to enter some kind of race war.

If Orientals are among the shortest people on earth, and this is scientifically proven, while blacks are among the tallest people, then how do you get more Orientals being taller than blacks?
I never once said that orientals are not racist to us, I just said that they don't have much love for you either. That's why they refused to let a Sri Lankan boy into China to receive an operation.

well ive run out of time .......and anyway all the african athletes such as marion jones et al ..........are called disgraced athletes these days becos they all took drugs ........her own husband and former coach dobbed on her ......sadly it even affected the way american athletes were perceived in the olympics later on..... Don't be a moron, you know perfectly well that, that isn't true. Has Micheal Jordon been disgraced? Has any of the football players been disgraced? What about all of the black runners at the Olympics last year? I've seen many Indians in my lifetime and none of them have been very manly so unless you are hiding these people somewhere, I will stick with my original opinion of you. I'm tired of debating with a fool.
...........im not gonna give the definition of caucasian .....ive already given it to many times........check wikipedia or google.........indians and middle easterners are classified as caucasian.........its not a race its the way u look.........But in life do they see you as a part of their race or do they look down on you? Do you not have white racists in Europe complaining about Indians and Arabs on a daily basis? Just go to any Irish site, you'll see what I mean. And they don't call you caucasians, they call you caucasoid because of your features, but since your skin colour is different from them, they view you as not being a true caucasian. The Australian natives are like you in this sense but they are given their own race, which makes me wonder....

I find you statement about african children offensive.Not all live in the jungle.Not all starve.Not even the majority.The same situation in UK is the same as Africa - the difference is the geography.Here we have the homeless, the sick and hungry, the uneducated children and the drugs .....yu name them.We have the same in africa but instead of Drugs we got AIDS killing us.Yu can't blame africans coz the education on AIDS came late.After America tried wiping them off the face of the earth.Read about the origins of AIDS and the motive and learn more about the real african not the media Africa.

Asians: The People In Between

During the riots following the acquittal of the police officers in the Rodney King case, I was surprised to read in the Daily News that stores owned by Koreans were being targeted by Blacks for looting, burning, and destruction.
I was surprised because it had been a pretty long time since I had read or heard about a single article, editorial, public service announcement, speech, or anything else pertaining to prejudice against my race (Asian). I was proud of the media for actually paying some attention to the harassment of Asians, especially during a period of unrest that at first seemed to involve only Whites and Blacks.
But most of the coverage treated the turmoil in L.A. as a Black and White issue. On the same day, another Daily News article quoted someone as saying, "Our nation is moving towards two societies, one black, one white." Excuse me, but wait just a minute here-"one black, one white?" What about the people in between? What about the tensions that exist between Asians and other races? I saw them during the Los Angeles riots and my friends and I have experienced them firsthand right here in New York.
He Made Fun of Me
I had my first experience with prejudice back in the fourth grade. I had just changed schools and most of my new classmates were Caucasian. Everyone was pretty close to each other but I made friends quickly. There was one Caucasian boy, though, who always laughed and said, "Hi, Ch-nk!" when he saw me. I had never heard that word before. I wondered what it meant and why he seemed to think it was so funny.
This same kid would pull up the outer corners of his eyes and babble a string of sounds that seemed like Chinese, but wasn't. He would keep on doing this, waiting for me to react. His voice seemed to take on a mean and sneering tone so I guessed that he was making fun of me and my nationality.
I turned red whenever he pretended to speak Chinese. He always made my language sound really stupid and harsh and ugly. He made Oriental people seem ugly too when he made his eyes all weird. His insulting actions made it seem as though something was wrong with me. It made me wonder, "Did Chinese people really look or sound as stupid as he made them look and sound?" I felt like crying and leaving the school and never coming back. I felt completely humiliated. I couldn't look at anyone. I told him to shut up, though what I really wanted to do was hit him.
Unfortunately, this kind of "teasing" did not stop in the fourth grade. I still hear these slurs and insults and so do my Asian friends. The only difference is the perpetrators aren't little kids who don't know any better. They're teenagers and adults.
Pretending To Speak Chinese
Let me tell you about the afternoon my friend Julie was going home on the train and noticed a group of African-American girls sitting a few seats away from her. There were about eight of them, all around 16 or 17. Julie was a little nervous. "I didn't get a good impression of them because they were talking really loudly, not giving a sh-t about what anyone thought of them," Julie told me. Almost immediately, two of the girls came over to her and pretended to talk in Chinese.
Julie ignored them and tried to keep her eyes fixed on the ads. But it wasn't easy because they towered over her. One girl kept asking Julie, "How come you can't speak Chinese?" They kept laughing and pretending to speak Chinese.
Then, one of the girls reached down and pulled Julie's pin off her shirt. Julie became really angry and grabbed it back. The girls seemed happy to get a response from Julie and continued taunting her. Julie tried hard not to show her anger. She didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing that they'd upset her. When Julie got off at her stop, she tried to calm herself down but she couldn't forget the incident.
Something similar happened to some other friends of mine. Three of them were on the train, going home from school.
'You're So Ugly'
A middle-aged African-American man who was sitting opposite them started yelling, "You Chinese are so ugly!" My friends were very embarrassed because everyone else in the car started looking at them. They laughed a little, trying to make the guy's comments seem like a joke to ease their embarrassment. The man continued: "Man, you are all so ugly!" And: "I always knew Chinese people were ugly, but man, you three are the ugliest of them all!" My friends were really angry but they just continued to ignore him. They were glad when they reached their stop.
Yes, both incidents ended when my friends got off the train. No, nobody got beaten up or robbed or anything like that. I mean, no way were these incidents as serious as some of the things we've seen on the news this past year. You know, the racially motivated spray paintings, the violent racial assaults, the racial murders, the Rodney King beating. The kind of racism my friends and I have experienced-the obnoxious impersonations, the degrading remarks-seem to pale in comparison to the more violent ones. But that isn't to say that they weren't important or that they didn't affect us deeply.
It's All Racist
I think that these "little" incidents are much more common than the big dramatic ones on the news. You don't have to be Chinese to understand. I'm sure that these little incidents have happened to Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, and Indians alike.
Racism is not just the Rodney King case. It is not just a White versus Black issue. And it doesn't have to involve physical violence. The attacks on the Korean grocers were racist. The racial slurs and taunts my Asian friends and I hear on the train are racist too.
If these milder forms of racism can be stopped, then maybe they won't get a chance to explode into the violence that seems to be so common today. If not, the unrest between all the races will probably continue.

One poster stated that not a week gos by without some one starting a thread about asians. And why do you think that is? Because the majority of them are a constant pain in the side thats why.
We have all had bad dealings with them and we all have serious issues regarding their attitude towards us, which we all want to get off our chests.
It just seems to me that you cannot do anything or go any where in this world without the asians trying to latch a free ride. They can never leave black people alone.
In the UK for example, we all know that orientals don't like black people, but at least they have the decency to keep themselves very much to themselves. And they know how to mind their own business.
Those from the indian sub continant? They are always constantly in our faces. The antaganisation is always there.
They seem to have this attitude that we as a race have this word, "stupid" tatooed on our forheads and that we can very easily be manipulated and taken for fools by them.
