I just thought Id throw it up see what people think but I cant say too much or else I'll prob get attacked. I just find certain black websites to be very black, black, black to the extent where if it was coming out of another colours mouth It would sound very offensive.
As it happens more strongly on African American sites I can understand it to some extent because desegregation wasnt too long ago and they are the most corupt country but when a big group of people get together and say "black people are best, blah, everything black blah blah, respect the ancestors, resist the slave masters, blah " then white people get together and say "white people are the best blah, blah, best looking, blah, more intelligent, blah" it cant help matters along in the bigger picture of cohesion and fairer (genuine) opportunity and cooperation for the next generation.
Everybody displays their proudness in different ways but I find some off these black love/ white pride organisations very dubious and racist. Racism as I found out 4 years ago is usually a two way street.
I have members in my family who say the racist things sometimes directed at Asians, African asylum seekers ect... But when a racist comment gets said about them they very hurt. Thats a bit off topic anyways but I find it a bit rich for some people to start these groups and section themselves off, use racist language and then get outraged when another group does that directed at them.

What is this, black racism month?
And what would you rather that we all bow down to whites and not have any sort of pride in ourselves what so ever? I'd rather that black people are intensely conciouse than intensely self hating and kissing the arse of every non-black they see. But seeing as how you're bent on raising a mixed family, I can understand why you would take that stance.

I never once said that everyone should bow down to anyone, or that people shouldnt have any pride in themselves. I said some people are racist in these organisations and it does not help things.
And im not sure where you found that I was hell bent on raising a mixed family from or is that just some more racial judging on your part.

I guess my girl is trying to get black women to be more accepting of IR relationships but instead of coming out and saying it, she's beating around the bush with this over conciousness bs.
I swear these IR dating people are some of the most selfish people on earth. They'll sell you to the highest bidder if it will make it more acceptable for them to mess around with non-blacks. That's what their whole united colours of beneton agenda is about. They feel like they're on a ship by themselves because whites continue to look down on them and they lose the support of a lot of blacks because of our growing racial conciousness. But instead of making their bed and lying in it, they take the mantel of colour blindness and decide to attack black people for any strides we make towards racial progression that doesn't include bowing down to whitey. Somehow they feel as if we're the problem, and we're the ones standing in their way of being able to walk down the street with their non-black significant other without someone gawking at them.
This is really what all this bullsh*t is about. Why won't black people put down whatever little pride they might have, and embrace people who can't even put their racism aside to play football, so that I can mess around with whites and still have the respect of members of my race?

Are you or are not dating a white man? Should I go and pull out that thread to prove my point?
And some people are racist in what organization exactly? And how did you define this racism? Oh yeah, they're saying that we should honour the ancestors, resist slave masters and black people are the best, so they obviously must be racist. Lol. Since when is it racist to honour those who struggled for and won the little freedom we enjoy today? Since when is telling your people to resist the physical and psychological warfare white people have and continue to wage against us racist? Since when is it racist to try and instill a since of racial pride in a people who have had their self-esteem beaten down for 400 plus years by telling them that they're the best.
White people have an entire culture telling them that they're the best, we are lucky if we even have a handfull of organizations doing the same yet you still want to begrudge us of that because it's standing in the way of your romance.

For your information I was not talking about anything like that, where exactly did I say anyone has to be interracial? I do not need anyones approval for anything in my life as I am happy and my friends are happy for me and thats all that matters.
Trying to get racist people to like something is not worth fighting for as it never works. I have noticed that black people do section themselves off and say racist things about other groups and then moan about being judged by others. If you had the impression I was talking about something else im sorry but It doesnt give you the excuse to bully me or look down on me because of my personal life.
You can honestly burn me on a cross if my personal life bothers you that bad.
To answer your question, there is nothing wrong with having pride but when you state that your group of people, black white, muslim whatever is better you are being racist. It doesnt matter what mouth it is coming out of. There are some corupt white people in the world refering all white people as all slave masters as I have seen some people do is racist. Its just ok when black people say it for some reason. When a white nationalist states (extreme) white pride that is unacceptable. I dont like it when white people refer to black people as all this or that so im not gonna do the same back.
I know no white person is better than me in my soul but I also am not going to say that my race is better than anyone else.
