My own Nan (RIP) was mugged twice, so this felt like a personal attack. I suppose because she didn't have long to go it was ok for her to be mugged?

A few things bother me about some of the comments here... to those people I pose these questions.
1) would it matter more if the lady in question was black and the attacker white?...would It touch a heart string..
2) what if they were both black? would It matter then?
3) why DOESNT it matter? why dont you care? please explain....does that mean if you saw this you wouldnt do anything to help? not even shout to raise attention?

I remember when it happened too. A friend told me about it and that the video was played on the news there. Perhaps that's how he was caught. It's a shame how people prey on the elderly. ...I haven't plucked up the courage to watch the video. I absolutely hate seeing people being beaten and from the comments it seem like a grim footage, why anyone wouldn't feel for an old lady being beaten I dont know.............but then tese same individuals would probably screem blue murder if she were black................thats what people dont seem to understand..loving your own people and caring about black welfare does not equal hating other races.

Theres nothing to understand. Anyone who can even hint at the implication that this is somehow warrented for any reason at all is callous and cold hearted and need to prey to somebody that nothing like this ever happens to them or anyone they know.
I can't believe anyone would condone something like this at all. But its ok. words are very powerful things. They will come back and kick your ass when you least expect it believe me. How anyone could even find humour in the comments section is beyond me.
