Funny how when posters disappear for a bit, threads have been created asking where they are. I remember one last year asking after Coltrane, even recently there was one asking where maffy and sooofresh have gone too.
I for one am very glad Coltrane had the decency to properly say good bye and definitely he's presence will be missed, after all Coltrane is not just any poster he is and has been one of the most influential posters on BN since the time he joined and i and i am sure many others have been enlightened and entertained by the many and many of his contributions to BN.
Coltrane, I do hope you’ll come back from time to time and say hello, if not good luck with everything.

You can't leave C' you're a part of the villiage now... if anyone sees him on another forum they should report it here, I don't think the man is going anywhere too far... but by saying that I'm probably pushing him to prove himself thus making the situation worse.
Where are you off to anyway? Is there a new forum we can follow you to or have you summrised that using the internet to form and bond new friendships/communities over long distances pales in comparision to face to face contact, the conversations, mostly being typed and not spoken, aren't quite as honest and are slightly more stubborn in reason than they would be otherwise... Being nothing but a hot wired tv set, the internet engages one in a search, a persuit for knowledge and human contact/experience, all in total disregard to the persons immediate enviroment. As people type so jovially on forums or in chat rooms, around them time flies past like a migrating bird heading in which and what direction, an experience not shared amongst anyone in the immediate vacinity (normally the household) as forum chats seem private... an expression of individuality in thought, hidden behind an alias to further an anonominity amongst those that they type with, making the conversations that much more open by being that bit more private, any purposed meetings that bit more embarrasing. The eternal question being, ''does anyone even read long posts?'' If the general answer is a negative one, then is there any point in typing at all?
As most inventions do it will eventually be proven to take experience away from the user rather than give it to them, now null to worldly goings on due to quick dowloads and the confusion of reality with film... no need to visit the shop or search long and hard for a product as it is now at each and every fingertip of each and every modern man/woman... the thumbs providing accessability to the space button rather than being used to pick up objects and hold the tangiable, they now only aid a frenzied search of MP3s and file formats that hold no tangiability at all.
So to Mr Coltrane the experience of the internet is then devoid, an invention that shall undo itself with time, offering society new problems as youths draw to it like flies to UV rays forgetting about sports and the great outdoors to replace it for intangiable experiences in front of a quick firing proton gun (used to provide images to monitors/tv sets).
So hes leaving to lead by example... To boycott the evil empire bent on the de-evolution of mankind through petty gadgetry and a glutton for convienience!

Still find it hard to belive that you can forsake your email inbox for that long though.

For personal ,security and professional reasons I decided to get off and take a battle to a different front using different strategies
In other words, he does not have a pc at home so was surfing Blacknet at work. His white employers were doing some kind of audit of employees computer use, came across this site and it seemed suspiscious to them. They have either sacked him, suspended him, or put a lock down on certain sites. So he can now only check his message swhen he can get to an internet cafe.
Simple as. lol
