I was in Somalia 1991, 1993, so its interesting to look at the views of the chatters on the site with regards to Somalia. But she has a right to criticize her own people.

Well in order to try to give some good advice and be constructive on the board:
This sounds like an issue that Somalians need to site down together and work out as a community!
I believe most people who have access to media such as the internet, newspaper or television already know colorism and racism exsists in the world and different communities!
I do not think the orginal post was "shocking".

Somalia is dominated mostly by large five tribes, that count of 85% of the population, then they used to be some Arabs, some Italians, and others. Some members of these large tribes call names any body that is not of their tribe or family. Yes some people treat Somalibantus, as foriegns since they were brought to Somalia from other East and Central African Nations by the colonial powers. But to say they are treated worse than how the large tribes treat each other and those in the Bay Bakol regions is shame and not being true to yourself and those who will read what you have posted.

somali_empire2004 Unfortunately it is very difficult to have a clean discussion about this issue without people trolling here. I guess people feel very strongly about these issues. One thing i've learnt onver the years is that while blacks are always complaining about racism, black themselves are just as racist indeed. You cant even dicuss it they cut you off, get very angry etc.
Anyway you raise some good point thanks for sharing. Can you tell me more about the bantu plight have things been getting any better?

I am disguisted beyond belief!!!
I am a young somali woman. and i most certently am Not a rasisct what so ever. so i get really irritated hearin ish like this, na'mean?
what issues u have gotten with somali ppl is up to you walalo (brother) but plz stop this generelization that causes other black ppl to think that every somali they see are rasists!
if u feel that way walalo yea, its your issue, but trying to take it our on us other somalis is just Low man.
im a somali that came to Europe when i was around 2 yrs of age. that may have caused me to be open-minded about races.
the thing with somalis newly arriven to western countries being predujice towards other races might have been caused by being isolated in their own countreys ye?
anyway, to whoever reading this. Just have in mind that there are Millions of somalis that dont think that way in any way what so ever.
somali ppl have mixed with any race as far as i know. they marry other races everyday. whites, asians, n we marry our own race equally (blacks).
but our religeon keeps us aways from ppl that dont share the same religeon with is ISLAM.
i would gladly go marry anyone that treats me nice, and i know we'd have a nice future together, and i love. nomatter the race.
the issue is, they have to be muslims init?
anyway if u read this far, hope u get a bit of understanding to us other black somali that suffer from ignorant somalis that try and diss us because of boredom or whatever.
if, anyone whants to know more about my views or whatever, and want to talk to a sensible somali plz, contact me or others.
but plz dont make any judgments from reading lame az ish from ppl that just want to provocce you, n give us a bad name.

Like any other country or people on the face of this earth, Somalia has also some biased view among them. Somalia is dominated mostly by large five tribes, that count of 85% of the population, then they used to be some Arabs, some Italians, and others. Some members of these large tribes call names any body that is not of their tribe or family. Yes some people treat Somalibantus, as foriegns since they were brought to Somalia from other East and Central African Nations by the colonial powers. But to say they are treated worse than how the large tribes treat each other and those in the Bay Bakol regions is shame and not being true to yourself and those who will read what you have posted.

the thing was she was average sized up top she had but the most enormous boootttayy in the world.i mean the hip:waist raio was just riduculomousous .. LOL.
It was a beautiful thing to behold i tell ya.
