| Going to Meet the Man really affected me when I read it soem years ago - the other short stories in the collection were good as well.

| I love how James Baldwin brings his characters to life. I'm not sure if I really have a "favorite"; I like them all for different reasons. Some of the ones I've re-read a few times: The Amen Corner, The Fire Next Time, If Beale Street Could Talk.
