Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaam 'alaikum All, Concerning The Gospel of Barnabas; There are not virtually, any True Muslims / Believers who would deny The Prophet Muhammad [S.A.A.W.] the title "Anointed," "Messiah," of Allaah; The Most High, The Wise, - even though it is not explicitly stated in AL-Qur'aan regarding The Prophet Muhammad [S.A.A.W.: Sallallahu ’alaihi wa sallam]; May the Blessings and Peace of Allaah be upon Him. But there would be no need to mention it again, as it is in the gospel under review -- The Gospel of Barnabas.
Although a search of the six books of Ahadiith, for the words 'Messiah,' 'Christ,' did not present any new evidence to support Prophet Muhammad [S.A.A.W.] as 'Messiah' as ascribed in Chapter 97 of this gospel; Some of the statements made in The Gospel of Barnabas regarding Prophet Muhammad, [Alaihissalatu Wassalam; On Him are the Blessings and the Peace of GOD] while they are not direct quotes recorded in The Holy Qur’aan, are agreeable and are acceptable as, concerning AL-Qur'aan. There are other statements in Chapter 42 which 'seem' to be discrepant; however concerning them Prophet 'Isa [Jesus, PBUH] stated the following:
“Truly I say to you, that every prophet when he is come has borne to one nation only the mark of the mercy of God. And so their words were not extended save to that people to which they were sent. But the Messenger of God, when he shall come, God shall give to him as it were the seal of his hand, insomuch that he shall carry salvation and mercy to all the nations of the world that shall receive his doctrine. He shall come with power upon the ungodly, and shall destroy idolatry, insomuch that he shall make Satan confounded; for so promised God to Abraham, saying: "Behold, in your seed I will bless all the tribes of the earth; and as you have broken in pieces the idols, O Abraham;, even so shall your seed do." The Gospel Of Barnabas Chapter 42
“Faith is a seal whereby God seals his elect: which seal he gave to his Messenger, at whose hands every one that is elect has received the faith. For even as God is one, so is the faith one. The Gospel Of Barnabas Chapter 90
033.040 Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. Al-Qur'an, 033.040 (Al-Ahzab [The Clans, the Coalition, the Combined Forces]) A. Yusuf Ali, translation.
The Holy Qur'aan in 3:45; 9:31, & others, acknowledges that Prophet 'Isa [PBUH] is the Messiah "Anointed," of Allaah; The Strong, The Protecting Friend, The Praiseworthy.
However, some commentary / commentators state that the Jew's were expecting two or three Messiah's - an acknowledgment of another Messiah, who was to be expected, - and He, 'Isa [Jesus, PBUH] was stating that He PBUH, is not that Messiah. We may conclude that there is Qur'aanic, support for this in 61:6. Any confusion regarding this issue points to the hands of the EVIL one, the Shaytaan [the Satan].

Chapter 19 The Holy Qur'aan does not mention Judas by name while mentioning the disciples of Prophet 'Isa [PBUH] on a few occasions: [3:52; 5:111-112; 61:14]. The Six Books of Ahadiith make no mention of Judas [Iscariot]. Muslims, already know that The Prophet, Messiah, 'Isa [Jesus, PBUH] was neither killed nor crucified. That the history of the death / execution, of someone else was substituted for that of The Prophet, Messiah 'Isa, Son of Mariam [PBUH], In the New Testament Bible is sensible. See sections one to three of the following discourse: http://www.africawithin.com/massey/gml1_jesuschrist.htm ~ beyond section three is an occult reading which may prove difficult to comprehend.
Chapter 43 "James answered: "O master, tell us in whom this promise was made; for the Jews say "in Isaac," and the Ishmaelites say "in Ishmael;." Jesus answered: David, whose son was he, and of what lineage?" James answered: "Of Isaac; for Isaac was father of Jacob, and Jacob was father of Judah, of whose lineage is David." Then Jesus said: "And the Messenger of God when he shall come, of what lineage will he be?" The disciples answered: "Of David." Whereupon Jesus said: "You deceive yourselves; for David in spirit calls him lord, saying thus: God said to my lord, sit you on my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. God shall send forth your rod which shall have lordship in the midst of your enemies. If the Messenger of God whom you call Messiah were son of David, how should David call him lord? Believe me, for truly I say to you, that the promise was made in Ishmael, not in Isaac." "
15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:
16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:
17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his. Deuteronomy 21:15-17
