This is why I know God is real. This is why I praise God and thank God. This is why I choose God as a protector!!! This is why I jump and shout!!! Watch this video and listen to the testimony of these 2 brothers out of Detroit that were under gunfire at close range.  God blocked those bullets from harming them!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

...so what about those 32 kidsin virginia , and they were practically all kids, did god want to torment their families becauase he has a plan, huh, did he let those kids bleed to death because he has a plan ?

did he let them suffer pain and sagony because he loves them so much....

or perhapes those kids deserved to die because they offended god in some way....does that make cho some kind of agent of god huh? ...

Brother Mike...I'm not a debater. I dont know why God does the things he do.  Maybe you should question Him yourself.

There are countless reasons not to be so thankful.

Where was he at the start of slaver?

Where was he when millions lost their lives when thrown overboard during 'rough seas'?

Where was he when hundreds of thousands were experimented on and 'ripped open'
'without any from of anasphetic' in the name of science?

Where was he when thousands were dragged out of their beds in the middel of the night tortured and lynched?

Where was he when his own house (churches), were burned to the ground or blown up?

Where was he when one of his servants was shot in the black of the neck killing him instantly?

Where was he when these countless innocent life was lost?

Where was he, when all this suffering was felt?

Where was he when all these injustices were committed?

If we equate the world at being a bussiness, and god as the 'manager' of this bussiness, do you think

he is performing his duties to the best of his abillities

or

do you think he is in his office with the doors closed, his feet up on the desk and a half empty bottle of Jack Daniels on the table?

It does indeed appear that he 'moves in mystirious ways'....if he can be bothered to move at all!

I personally don't think it make any sense to leave your life, nor our future, solely in his hands of 'someone' who really doesn't have a vary good track record.

Can you also enlist the good things going on around the world past and present that God has done to perfection and for the good of his people or is that too challenging a topic for a critic ?

You know what? God has always had haters. Haters brought Jesus to the cross. Haters thought that He was merely a magician.  Haters exist today. Instead of hating they should be thanking God for still giving them their life, health and strength even though He is hated and not acknowledged. They should be thanking Him for providing food and water and shelter as well as the air that they breathe and the eyes that they can see with. Amongst everything else in the universe that God has to deal with and keep in order, He even is humble enough to give breath to those that criticise  Him.  The same people that when their life ends, they will more than likely have a church funeral or will only step in a church once a relative passes.  If you agree that it is now the year 2007 you should also acknowledge that its based on 2007 years that Christ was crucified and resurrected!!! I said that I wasnt going to get into a debate because I was told that its a waste of time to talk spiritual to one that has no spirit.

That's not for me to list, your the christian, but a few meager handouts doesn't convince me.

There isn't a shread of proof for the varacity of ANY religion, if they were, they wouldn't be called 'faths' (as that is what you need to have to folllow them,) they would be called 'The Way' as it would be obvious to all that this was the true path to follow.

It does seem a little 'un-wise' to entrust everthing to a practise that doen't offer you anything more that a level of spiritual comfort.

There are more 'evil' in the world that 'good' and when I walk down the road, I'm not on the look out  for people jumping out of the bushes to give me £50 just the exact opposite. I just don't buy the excuse that these are test of fath, surely a person can be tested without need for billions to die or suffer.

I'm not really looking for a long drawn out discussion on this matter, because if a person can believe something on such flimsy 'evidence' that no amount of talk, logic or common sense is going to change their minds.

My only real concern is that a person don't get 'fat' 'lazy' or 'complacent' in their belief that the lord or whoever, will take care of earthly matter, should trouble kick off.

You know what? God has always had haters.

I'm not a hater, just a questoner. A system that has been around for 2000 years should be able to stand up to being questioned, or it hasn't a strong foundation.

But what about the blind, the starving and the homeless? What should they be thankful for?

Amongst everything else in the universe that God has to deal with and keep in order,
What else in the universe is god dealing with an is he moonlighting? The question sound sarcasict but isn't ment to be. Really, what do you think he is doing elsewhere.

Shouldn't he be paying more attention to his main job, ending world suffering and bringing people together?

He even is humble enough to give breath to those that criticise  Him.  The same people that when their life ends, they will more than likely have a church funeral

In the west, it's standard for churches to 'handle' funerals, but more and more people are being creamated, that's not the 'christian way. Most funeral cerimonies don't have the religions aspects and are centred around the persons personality and life.

Personally I'm fine with being thrown into a black bin liner and left out on tuesday morning for the binmen. But I have no control over what happens when I die, just as none of us have any idea when we go, or where we end up.

or will only step in a church once a relative passes.
When a person die, it's only right to pay your last respects, if that means entering church, so be it.

If you agree that it is now the year 2007 you should also acknowledge that its based on 2007 years that Christ was crucified and resurrected!!!
That's a strange statement, it implys that time was irrelivant BC. I can't control the how or on what the westen calander is base. Ever race and culture had a way of measuring the passage of time, western impirialism has meant the christian unit of measument is now standard.

I said that I wasnt going to get into a debate because I was told that its a waste of time to talk spiritual to one that has no spirit.
I am a vary spiritual person, that doesn't mean that I must follow any particular  religion. Experience has taught me that it is equally a waste of time talking to religious people as that never have any real answers to any question and only offer fath as a defense to explain away everything.

What spirit is that do you follow? Again I will be the first to tell you that I am not a debater and I am nowhere qualified to answer you to answer everything that God does. I do know that some of the things that God does is run a universe. Youre questions should possibly go to someone who's studied theology all of his life and yet he wouldnt know why God does His things. But I am curious to know what spirit do you follow if its not the spirit that I talk about. Maybe your spirit has the answers to the questions that you have, or does it ignore you as well?
