Definitions;
  • Someone who speaks by divine inspiration; someone who is an interpreter of the will of God.
  • A person who speaks by divine inspiration or as the interpreter through whom the will of a god is expressed.
  • A person gifted with profound moral insight and exceptional powers of expression.
Can a man really be deemed a *Prophet* if he only conserns himself with those who follow his god?

How can a prophet be speaking Gods word if he states that its alright to commit acts of violence against people outside of his doctrine?

Surely a prophet works to convince people that he is speaking Gods word and as he is speaking Gods word he speaks to EVERYONE equally and brings people into his doctrine naturally.

Some would say that Mohammed was a great man but not a prophet and to be honest I'd have to agree, you wouldn't find Buddah decreeing that its alright to do another person harm for any reason. Jesus never said anything (at least to my knowledge) about doing harm to others who aren't christian for that matter but the same isn't so for the teachings of Mohammed it seems as though his ideal was to better the lives of the Arabs not humanity as a whole.

P.S; This isn't an attack on Muslems or an argument I respect others beliefs.

Assalaam Alaikum

You cant 'attack' something you dont understand or have knowledge of.

Now bring the evidence (not sentiment and opinion) that the 'doctrine' that Muhammed taught condones harming others.

I await your response
