I went to school in East London in the late 80's here are some of our classics:-

* Spengargon - someone really foolish (this was back in the day ragga song by Tiger)

* Speng - someone with no sense, a fool - short for Spenggargon

* Criss - Someone goodlooking

* Beef - A criss man

*Beefy - A mascular man

* Spam - Big forehead

*Pianos - Teeth

Nowaday words:-

*Speng (some things never change ) :)

* Friendanemy - So called friends who hate on you, cannot wait for you to fall

* Raggo - rough and ready (could be person or way of handling a situation)

* Hamburgers - A man raving in a jumper, smelling of B.O. and getting knock backs from every girl (offtopic.gif Fellas - ladies hate dancing with men in jumpers 1) you stink 2) you rub off our make up 3) your making us hot just looking at your jumper wearing ar*se)

So many - but I can't remember right now.  I will keeping posting.

Yes, roll ups.. sheesh thats going back in the dayz yo...

I wonder about some of these slang words on here. Are they really personal, cos nuff of dem, like grey man, butters, bluefoot, were widely used by nuff ppl (in London at least) from the longest time.

Hamburgers, hahah now thats a wicked one.

Heres a couple I use..

Puss 'n dawg - like when u wanna make an exclamation but dont wanna use any bad word. Kinda like how old time JA folk used to say 'blouse n skirt'.

Ho Ho Ho - u say it when u see an ugly gal but u say it like how Santa goes ho ho ho so that it isnt as recognisable straight away as say 'she's a ho'.

Jibstar - in my day "Arms/Armshouse" meant - out of order - as in "........you're Arms....." or "............that was arms..............."

Also - it related to a tune done was Capleton called Armshouse in the early '90's.

blktype 'Projects' = very bad area, e.g an area where a lot of drug addicts live/hostels for homeless etc.

blktype 'Boom Box' = portable stereo

blktype The 'projects' was the term used in America way back for new housing areas, they were very good places, but now quite a few turn ghetto, so that is why its used to describe a bad area now.
