Child Support?!?
I'm listening to the radio...WGCI out of Chicago...and the topic is child support...and heres my question...why do men feel that when a relationship ends, that they do not have to financially take care of their child? Many men are calling in...and they are calling their ex's all kinds of names...do 'some' men think that they don't have to financially tend to their kids...its makes no sense how they attack these mothers just cause they go and file for CS payments, the mother doesnt set the amount to be paid, the judge does, so why attack the mother...cause if the man had custody he would do the same thing...enlighten me with y'alls comments...

that station still exists? jeeeez they must have a survival strategy
on the thread..men dont just complain for nothing especially when it comes to raisin up our kids but it gets worse when a woman starts gold gig you or in other words make you her little project of getting funds and all that but that doesnt mean that some brothers mess up so its a two way thing

I complain about it.
Before I got custody of my son I paid 1,157…when I finally won custody my xwifes child support is 75.00 a month and she can't pay that on time.
I think men complain because they do not want to up hold their financial responsibilities. And some women, instead of using the money for the child, the get their hair done and buy new clothes from themselves. A far better question however, is why do these women have children by men they aren't married too.

Ahh, if only men dispensed as much wisdom as they do sperm, they would be a species to be reckoned with! Its a shame some of them are so quick to dispense their little swimmers into any willing recepticle, but dispense time, effort energy and cash to deal with the consequences!?!? Never!

As you well know, all it takes to sire a child is sperm. You do not have to be hetrosexual. Plenty of gay men hiding behind the institution of marriage and/or family life. If your child is a boy god help the women he dates as you will raise him to have no respect for them. If your child is a girl, she should have been given up at birth, as opposed to have a woman hating father like you. "Wish death on whole families" Damn, that scared me . Now bruh that was harsh. Let's not start a male/female bashing contest here.
We don't need the snide remarks from both sides. We're grown folk here. Just explain your point of view.
Most men don't see the child support system as being fair when it comes to men. Parris gave a perfect example: $1grand vs. $75.00
I don't have kids but from my observation, what I see is that some of the men that do not want to pay child support are egged on by the breakdown in relationship with the mother.
To some paying child support may seem like a punishment for not seeing eye to eye with the mother. Though, there is no excuse to not contribute to your childs life. Just that some women don't make it easy and don't care what burden is being put on the man as long as that child support check is coming in.

Some men complain/dont want to pay because they're been taken for a ride by the woman & the system..The woman has so much support & gets backing from these organisations no matter what..
The whole relationship breakdown may have been her fault but she has all the cards & wants a bigger purse by going to the CSA & is willing to take the father to the cleaners..
Not all men want to have the responsibility (W*****S) generally, but if from all the mitigating circumstances (contact/visitation) etc & there is no real problem & things are amicable then pay your dues, it doesn't always have to end up as a battle & so the courts & agencies need never get involved..
But the no good fathers (as they aren't DADS) make the situation worse by badmouthing etc & or profile-ing..The same can also be said for the mothers who are quick to jump up & down & rant to anyone who will listen how crap the man is..
