I was chatting to my female friend about Championshp Manager and she was like 'Dont talk to me about that game'. When I asked why she said that alot of her male friends and her current boyfriend play it in some capacity and that she felt left out sometimes
My other female friend said her cousin installed it on her computer and when he comes round he goes straight to the game ad doesnt talk to her at ll, save for a few grunts here and there
This mad me wonder how many championship manager addicts there were on this forum but I'm particurlarly interested in the girls who have to put up with the addictions.
If theer any peeps on the site who been in the situation I would be interested to hear your story

ohh cash money stay away from those things..
not good for your social skills . not good . too addictive . had to remove them from my harddrive . unanswered phone calls , answering machine on blAST, eyes bloodshot , must eat soon must eat sooon LOL
if you really want disappear of the radar go for the SIMS ... man that sh*t is addictive.
had a thing for the war strategy games fore a while but they had to go , had to go .

| Just completed my 30th season with Dover and I've been relegated to first division, I reckon I'll lock it off now but I still got 550 million o spend on players so I dont know if I want to lock it off, anyways this game is sickenly addictive and I think I'm gonna have to send it away to my brother in leicester so I can get on with having some type of life

 Cashmoney. Listen bro. Had to give all them games to my nephews and tell them to keep them away from me. Once you start just get addicted. Sisters you have to be a baller to understand these things. But Cash the game is damn good.
Tell you another game I love militiary strategy games. Oh my god. Went to my bredrin's yard and got into Championship manager. When I checked the time. My god.

I think I'll finally stop playing champ manager
I was manager for 41 years, two different clubs and was number 1 in the world fro reputation, then the f'ing gane carshed, I had just won bak t back championships and was 2nd place with 8 games played.
PISSSSSEDDDDDD!!!!!!!!
I just need to wait for my bro to go bac to uni so he can take the games away from me

41 seasons?? You are frigging nuts!
I only play about 8- 10 before starting again cos the players get old and the game makes up new ones... Might be a better test but its no fun.
Its best to start with a dry div 2 team and try build them up but it takes WAY WAY too long cos you stadium size restricts you.
Anyway that game is EVIL EVIL EVIL
It ruined my life!! You could sing the Afroman song and substitute because I got high for because I played Champ!!
Oh yeah have you played pro evo 4 or winning eleven (the Japanese thing)

What say I??
Pro evo is the best footy game bar none. No comparisons. Its technical, realistic and addictive and you know what else?
Its the most social game since Goldeneye64 and Streetfighter2 SNES. What I mean is that EVERYONE plays it. I can go to anyones house and they think they are the best at the bloody thing... great for bets and tournys and stuff.
But seriously, dont try to get champ back. Let it go its an EVIL thing.

Wanna hear somethin' sad?.....Subbuteo was the best game ever!...Dad built me a proper Mini-Stadium...we used to have Leagues round my yard....All the teams were in their traditional colours....Wolves..Old Gold etc......AND (sadly) I've still got my commentaries from the Subbuteo matches on old Philips Tapes........30+ years later......Thats Sad....... NO & NO to your q.'s!!!......However whats even SADDER is that these weren't Commentaries of the hundreds of matches I played with my M8's these were when I was locked away on my own playing myself!(and WINNING might I add) .....fancied myself as a potential David Coleman/John Motson .......this is what happens when you're a single child!......My imagination was vivid and very fertile I can assure you!.....used to devise all kinds of Leagues and Competitions in different Sports

| I've got championship Manager 03/04 season not as good as the previous ones, these days it's Tenchu 2 thats doing it what a game. Your a Ninja walking around a AI enviroment, using staelth you take out the enemy.

Its an automatic game LOL
No matter how much you curse and swear at the PC or how hard you bang your mouse about or how intensely you stare at the screen it really wont make a difference.
I used to get pissed off and acuse my PC of cheating LOL And I was being serious How can I be 3 - 0 up with ten minutes left and lose the game?? or get two key players injured or your star player breaking his leg or other such nonsense. Let it go. I told you to give up that evil game anyway.

Oh btw
Did you know that when Pro evo 4 comes out (on the actual day) you can go to GAME and get Fifa for free!! They are so desperate to know why they arent doing as well they have resprted to this. They give you a whadyacallit thingybob to fill in and send to the makers of Fifa so you can explain why Pro evo is better.
I will take my free copy and sell it to some dummy straight after ha ha ha

For the PS2 I think the game is out on the 15th of October.
For the PC and XBOX it will be probably out early November. Surprisingly the game has already hit the net for the XBOX and PS2 so it could be out earlier.
I'm after the PC version since it's easier to update the kits, players and everything else.
Another thing Football Manager is the true sequel to Championship Manager 4, so avoid Championship manager 5 like AIDS when it comes out, it's by the same publisher, but the people who made the old versions SI interactive or something have joined SEGA for Football Manager which is closer to and better than the Championship manager 4 we're all familiar with. It shouldn't be too long before that gets released.

I heard the split is going to affect the very nature of the game, the part of them who is joining Sega or whoever is taking the database with them. All of the names and stats.
The game engine and layout will remain in one game and the database in the other. If Football manager is the proper CM5, will it have the licences for the names it uses or will it be like pro evo and have names like "Oranges 9" and "Calcio" "Robero Larcos" etc etc??
