My right eyelid keeps tightening and contracting. It is not blinking, it's a twinge.
Now Ive always had perfect vision and good eyes so im baffled. I can still see perfectly but it shuts up my eye and goes on for long strectches at times. This only started yesterdat btw so Im waiting to see if it stops but does anyone have any ideas?

a simular thing was happening to me it was like me eye was "pulsing" at times
its due to eyestain

But I can see perfectly. 
The twinge is in the muscle of the eyelid itself, no probs with the eye underneath.
And as I say this just started from I woke up yesteday. I thought it would be gone today after a sleep but it hasnt.

| It sounds like it might be a cyst. If it continues see your GP. A similar thing happened to my sister...it might need to be surgically removed, but that depends on the severity of your case(if indeed it turns out to be a cyst).

Well mi bruddah ole time saying says eye twicth means bad news or good new ah go come depends on which eye but don't ask me which one though ....don't mean to worry you or anything but you did ask.....so if its bad news coming your way becareful how you walk on your way to the opticians/doctor. If its good news remember to share with Maffy

My eye used to twitch a lot, used to get on my damn nerves. I put it down to stress or being over tired. Check out these websites:

If u haven't had an eye test in a while u should get that done. An eye test can detect a lot of things, such as diabetes etc. It's a painless procedure and u might be lucky enough to get a pretty female opthalmologist so it won't seem so bad
