Was out and about today shopping and me and my mate went to MacDs. With the posters showing the Big Tasty off as if it was healthy I bought that.
Its about as healthy as a kick in the balls!
860 cals and 50.5 grams of fat, but it did have 48.5 grams of protein. I was so upset I had to eat my large fries, and Smartie McFlurry
Ended up about 1850 cals in total.

I think you are a cheater...
You are trying to pump yourself full of burgers and beer and crap to pile on the pounds so that you can make the best improvement and therefore win that thread with Parris. There is a danger in this however that you wont shed all these big tastys and Budweisers.

| NO..fast food for me...I RARELY eat fast food, and rarely go to Mickey D's.....I have looked at the calorie charts for most of the fast food chains that I have eaten at before.....RIDICULOUS! It makes no sense that people actually still frequent these places as much as they do. It's easy to make meals at home, and there are alternatives to these greasy fast food places....*sigh*...and they wonder why (at least the U.S.) people are getting so obese!

I agree with you every 3 months I usually see another junk food outlet opening up. Where I live each week I have to throw away about 30 leaflets on junk food posted in my letter box that you can order and they deliver but towards the end of 2004 one of these leaflets caught my eye and it was a menu for West Indian food. That is the first I have ever seen and the following month I received another announcing another new West Indian restaurant opening. It might not be much but I actually wrote to both restaurants and told them how pleased I was to see a menu for West Indian food with good hearty nutriational food that can be delivered to your door and only today I received another West Indian menu stating they do special offers for school children at reduced rates at lunchtime......makes a change to receive good mail instead of junk mail through my letterbox.

Have you noticed that McCr*p never does special offers on their Salads, Fillet O Fish and Veggie Burgers.....I wonder why this is .....could it be these three products are two of the healthiest on the menu.

WOW, we have to FIND different ethic foods in the states. I mean it's as if you have to go in search of them. OH! and to get them to deliver would be like asking someone you don't know to GIVE you $1 million dollars...LOL
I cook my meals and they are usually quick and easy for that's about all the time I have to cook. I do the same for my husband and we have nutritious meals everyday. I mean there is no denying that we ALL go out from time to time, however the more we hear about the ingredients,salt,sugars, etc. in fast food, the more we are apt to leaving it alone!

Thats why this was such an uplifting thing to see because thats the first west indian takeaway that I have come across that does delivery.....as for areas that have heavily populated caribbean you will find many west indian takeaway but sadly not as much as junk food outlets and off licenses (you would call liquour stores) not forgetting betting shops too.

Maccy d's never does offers on the healthy stuff neither do KFC for that mater ( I loke the zonger salad!!)
yea round here theres pleanty of fast food joints offereing chicken&chips or kebab for £1 ect ect and the WI takeaway is like £6 per meal
so you can imagine what most people go for round here

I mentioned this before but will say it again at one time passing through campberwell to peckham I noticed the many different ethnic food outlets/restaurants and noticed their own country people eating in them. I saw greeks eating in greek restaurant indian in their restaurant etc chinese etc and Nigerian but I saw the West Indian takeaway empty and right next door the nasty Morley fried chicken was packed with black youths ordering.....that was a sorriful sight.
