Guys as grown as i am i have a huge problem when it comes to swallowing pills. but these days when ever i go to the doctors they always want to give me big ass pills. years ago i managed the pill for a month but came of it as each forced swallow made me feel ill. but now i have some pills i need to take for health reasons and you cant get medicine form. gees talk about the medical profession assuming.
any tips
so far i have tried filling my mouth with water and popping pill in. but it still there
tips?

Crumble them up in your food but check your label first because some pills specifically say not to crush them but if yours doesn't then try it in your food. Good Luck.

| trust me i am trying. there are some pills you just cant but swallow casue they stink bad especially dem capsules. i di master it once but dont knwo whats going on

 my nan does that and i used to laugh at her, because of the way she used to fling her head back, all dramatically.

I used to have this problem, I used to crush the tablets between two spoons then took them with a sweet drink.
Now I put the pill in my mouth and swallow it with a few sips of drink, with my head tilted back slighty, just take a big gulp and it will go down, or just pop the tablet in your mouth and just drink with bigger gulps(pretend it's not there) don't need to throw your head back.

I have to pinch my nose to close my nostrils as I hold my head back and try to swallow the large pills. It clears your tongue from blocking the pill from going down.

@ ladyday, i have da same problem!!! it takes me about 5 attempts!!! Now da problem is dat they get stuck in my throat so i have to cough dem bac up and start again..... nasty, i know!!! i used to chew dem, NASTY, NASTY..... NASTY!!!!! I find filling my mouth with lots of water, and taking big gulps helps. Sometimes its mind ova matter, like i tell myself if i dont swallow it my da time i finish da glass of water.... I have to chew it!!!!
Soluble tablets are just as bad.... da taste is a killer!!
