| I think you're absolutely right, I know exactly what yu mean about the chemicalisation of so called hint of " water. Years ago I tried one and it tasted insipid and definitely "plastic".

| The only way u know ur drinking natural spring/mineral water is if u go to the mountains or get it from the well urself and watch the cleaning process from beginning to end. You can't trust anything u buy these days, even if it has organic written in bold letters all over the front. You can read all about what process foods and drinks go through but theres no actual way to prove it is there? I would save my money, boil the kettle, poor the water in a glass when it cools, then squeeze the juice from an orange in there. At the end of the day there isn't much difference is there?

@all I stopped drinking flavoured water a while back, especially when I found out the sugar content ...one of the worst one's is Volic's a touch of fruit (diabetes inducing elixir for real!!!!!)...I will normally just drink tap water...especially after the scandal of the Coca Cola bottled water that contained cancer causing chemicals...I don't get sucked in to buying 'spring' water...

@ Blackmatta
Everyone's tastebuds and senses are different, so what might seem artificial to you may not seem artificial to the next person. Or some people might know it's artificial, and buy it same way because they don't care. It's just like smoking cigarettes, people know it's bad for them but they still go and buy it anyway.
@ Free
Water straight from the tap isn't any better, I hope u at least boil it in the kettle before u drink it.

I like that one!
The whole concept of flavoured water is silly, either you want water or you want a flavoured drink. Cant have both at once LOL

@facetygal...I used to drink hot water every day, straight from the kettle...or just herbal tea...(to lazy to get a water filter been promising myself for ages). I used to by bottled water...but I am deeply cynical that it is any better than tap...

When we were kids there use to be a spring near us, (sounds like the medieval days lol!) and we use to drink it all the time. That was, until the water company discovered it, decided they were losing profit, so declared it unsafe, and it was closed!

There are so many things that are bad for us. What about ribena, oasis type drinks, fizzy drinks etc? or drinks that you buy and dilute with water? We can't trust bottled water or flavoured bottled water.
I don't drink tap water, in our house we boil our water let it cool then put it in the fridge. We've always done that. But I do buy those dilute to taste bottles of fruit juice I also stay away from fizzy drinks.
Out of all of these what would be the best to drink, especially if you are walking around and thirsty, which type of drink has the lesser level of badness?

I think sista girl, you sometimes just have to believe the claims, that some of the water are from natural springs and that they are safe.
I would go for just plain bottled water. I like Buxton, as from what I've read, they are close to their source and there is little interference to the water by humans and through the processing of the water, (because that is done naturally).
BUT whatever you eat and drink, there always seem like there is going to be potential dangers - I think simply through the processing stages alone.
The only other way out is to collect rainwater yourself! lol! But even then you could worry about acid rain, the pollution in the air and what you collect it in. lol!

@BlackMatta: I agree you can usually taste the artificial add ons straight away. I can't stand the taste it leaves and find I notice it more if I drink the stuff after I've eaten. Messes up the whole enjoyment you had from the food chaaa The worst bit is that even so called fruit juices that claim they have no bits added can still leave that taste. Me thinks the labelled lied AGAIN .
@All: I drink water more than fruit juice and can usually tell if it's good or not because I have drunk water directly from the Malvern Hills. A taste I will never forget....
I just took a bunch of grass and a pile of mud then squeezed the life out of it to create a liquid...............JOKE LMAO
Serioulsy though I found that certain brands of water tastes like the water I drank from there like Volvic. Evian now... well I don't business that's TAP WATER. Speaking of which boiling the water is a must because tap water still has a lot of rubbish in it and let's not even go into how it is recylcled to get back to the tap eeewwwww
