i just need to know what is best for stretch marks and scars as in reducing them. i have tried pure vitamin e oil and good ol cocoa butter. they only seem to make my skin soft. did try pure imported from africa shea butter, but did not like the smell(must find something to mix it with). suggestions please, and tell me of your own experiences
p.s.- mi na wan fe hear bout no bleach out sittin!

| I bought Bio Oil. and it worked on this bruise on my leg! I don't know how affective it is on stretch marks, but it worked on bruised skin! All you can do is try. If you need some go down to Stroud Green Road, there is a chemist up their if your heading towards Crouch Hill, on the right hand side of the road. Thats where i got mine. I hope that helps.

@ Lady Day
Have you managed to find Bio Oil I have gained a few scars over the last couple of months from the odd fall or burn with the curling iron (smile).
Would bio-oil work for me, or do you have to use it on scars very early.
Please advise!!

Hi
i did find bio oil. i found it at a local chemist though i do know superdrugs sells it too. it says on the box that it is specialist skin care for scars, stretch marks, blemishes, ageing skin and dehydrated skin. its worth a try i am using it on my stretch marks not sure if its working but my skin feels nice. i got 60ml for £7.95 though it can cost more.
all i can say is try it and see. there is a website but i cant remember the link

@ Sister Girl
Yes that's what it says on the one that I brought, comes in a white box with orange writing only thing is I paid £8.95!! The bottle has nearly finished and I haven't seen any difference as yet just the skin feels more supple.
Oh well maybe have to buy another bottle .
We'll keep each other updated. Looks like I have to travel to Stroud Green next time.

Wow this Bio Oil is really taking off it will be interesting to hear the results from using this. When I brought mine the man had just got some more in stock and said everybody is asking for it. It's burning me to pay £8.95 again but it has to be done.

sorry everyone, I posted the web ad. wrong I have now corrected it. The website is good.
It can work on scars that are up to 20 years old.
A noticeable difference after 3-4 months on strethmarks.
It's beter than vitamin E oil as it absorbs into the skin better.
Will stop the dry tight feeling of the skin.
will keep your skin balanced if you suffer from dehydrated skin.
Best applied twice a day.
So it looks like we'll be spending a lot of money on this product in order to see any major change in the skin in terms of scars and dry skin etc etc.
I actually mix my Bio oil with a little vitamin E oil as the Bio oil has an unusual fragrence.
Palmer's have a scar serum and a stretchmark cream has anyone tried or heard anything about these?

3- 4 months My gosh anyone fancy sponsering my purchases of Bio Oil. Mind you I haven't got that many strechmarks it's more for the scars I am using it. Does it take to same length of time to work on scars??
A another good tip for anyone whose expecting or planning to have a baby, rub Almond Oil on the stomach it's excellent my friend did this and she hasn't got one stretchmark on her tummy.
@ Sista Girl I have seen the Palmers stretchmark oil but I thought it was aimed at woman who are expecting so didn't buy it. Plus I don't like to smell of Palmers it's too overpowering.

Bio Oil is good, i had this scar on my leg, and it cleared it up within a few weeks (because it was a very new scar).
But i want to buy it for 6.99, so i will buy it from the internet.
8.95 is sooo damn expensive.

I've just bought Stretch-away by 'Skindoctors'. They do a range of skin products. However, it takes 8 - 12 weeks for results so still waiting for the majik to work! However, it is not to be used during pregnancy due to its high Vitamin A content. But they do one for pregnant women. Check out the range on their web site. They also do something for veins and Wonder Bust!!
HEALTH WARNING: This stuff's not cheap

I have got no idea except for the fact that if you rub it on you go a whole bust size bigger!! See extract from the website advert:
Wonder Bust is a potent massage gel that once applied swells the breasts to up to a cup size larger. This breakthrough gel causes a reaction that fills the capillary matrix of the breast with blood. As the breast swells it looks and feels larger, heavier and firmer. A great alternative to painful and expensive surgery or hormone pills, Wonder Bust offers results in minutes that last for hours!
