Any suggestions to getting a firm and flat stomach?
Anyone here ever had a pot belly (which I currently possess but it ain't hanging over or nothing crazy like that) and managed to get it ironing board flat and maintained it ever since.
Dieting and exercise tips pleez.

Cute......nah! I'm looking to do something about it before I turn into Big Belly Man.
I had a subscription to Men's Health a long time ago but I stopped it cos I never used to read any of it.

| Perhaps you should tell your wife to stop cooking so well. Nothing a good diet of string beans and boiled cabbage won't take care of. Oh, and do sit-ups regularly.

Lay off them beers and oily food.......drink lots of water, sit-ups and minimise what you eat.

Start doing some jogging if can, it won't give u a six pack.. but it will make the belly go down.
Doing sit ups won't have that much effect.. u'll just get a tough belly, but it will still loot pot.

Jogging/Running tends to drain the fat a way around the waist area.. it's the most effective that I have found. I think skipping also works effectively, if done right.

I dont have a pot belly but I have a very big arch in my back that makes my belly stick out a lil bit, is there any way that I can bring my stomach in without holding it in?

jogging is the best thing you can do...and start with your daily abs-workout program...but you need to stay focused as it takes time. you can get a pot belly in two weeks but it takes months to get a perfectly flat belly
BT you are right...rope skipping is even better than jogging...but skipping is haaaaaaardcore...and i am not talking about lil' girls' skipping but 10 minutes power skipping will kill you....so start with jogging

Well I don't have a pot belly! Just a little bit of wobble that I'd like to flatten out.
What would be the best/quickest way to do so?

I'll have to give running the thumbs up. Started running three months ago doing 45 minutes hard running, three times a week now my belly is flat and my waist has shrunk to the almost perfect size i've always wanted.
Also found doing weights and abs exercise right after running tones your body much better and quicker. My trainer said it’s to do with running making your skin loose which makes it the best time to tighten it and shrink it . All I know is it works for me.
So big up running.

Combine running and situps, eat big breakfast, very small lunch, and decent dinner.
Only snack on fruit and snacks from a whole food store. Never keep junk food at home because it will be out there for you when you leave home. I was born with my abs, but my diet and exercise helps me keep them.

That's the thing I don't eat very much at all, only one meal a day which is dinner. I really can't eat breakfast and if I eat lunch I can't eat much for dinner.
I don't know why this is? I've recently lost quite a bit of weight, naturally-haven't even been trying and I haven't modified my diet. I just want a dead flat stomach so I can wear some short sexy tops! Thanks for the tips though, I'll try get out there and run alongside doing sit ups.

| Basically prince, you need to cut out the fatteninf foods. I've done it for about 2 weeks and have lost over 7 lbs. I hate stomach FAT. You know that roll u get just below the belly button.... no way. You can exercise and do the right things but what it comes down to is what you eat and how much. In the morning, I would just eat salads about 11 or 12 am with pasta, then after that it would be more veg in the afternoon, like corn, pasta again, and alot of lettuce. Basically I have cut out all fatty foods.... No cheese, no chocolate, no pastries, and most importantly, NO TAKEAWAYS AT ALL ! Limit you in take. Stick to one meal a day... it can still have the meats and rice, but don't have fried foods especially. When u snack, snack on bread sticks and crackers. very low in fat and still filling. avoid fruit juice, just have pure juice. Fruit juice is too high in sugar.
