i juss started trainin i felt that i need to put on some muscle n get stronger

im 6ft tall if i start trainin will it effect my height cos i dnt wanna stay at 6ft?

nah cos this boy i train with dont wanna use free weights like usin a barbell when doing the bench press he juss uses machines he says that free weights will stunt his growth

It won't.  It can't lol... Weights do not and can not shrink you.

Free weights especially in the example you use are better because you have to balance and use more effort though as I said BP will be more specific about this with you.  I certainly prefer free weights myself.  I don't feel properly worked out with machines.

yeh man free weights are the best the machines are so crap
i used the back machine did like 4 sets of it and cudnt feel anything after going home cos afta you train with free weights you feel the pain but cudnt feel a thing with the machines

i use the machines for my legs but i cant feel anything confused3

I don't really use weights for my legs because I have big legs anyway (I'm a cyclist). 

My advice to getting bigger is to simply do heavy weights you can only do about 8-10 reps on.  You should be suffering on the last few reps and possibly need somebody to spot you.   That is how to build bulk. 

Also eat more.  Rice, potatos, fufu and things like that.
