It stated that a man was washing his fish and then ready to cook the fish and then he saw  .........>

click link > http://www.boosman.com/blog/archives/2004/03/cymothoa_exigua.html

MUCH BETTER LINK > http://animal.discovery.com/news/briefs/20050912/tongueeater.html

1) where has this come from ?
2) what can it do to you ? ,
3) is this bug a new bug ?
4)why is it effecting only a fish which mostly the black culture eats ?
NOTHING ON THE NEWS  !!!!!!!

yes I remember picking through fish in brixton market and saw a few with this in its mouth and the stall holder told me it was a small shrimp got up in the jaw of the fish I just moved on to another selection of fish because it didn't look like a small shrimp to me.

Mafdet Cymothoa Exigua is a Crustacean the same Family as shrimp, Crab and Lobster.

It was probably dead, its harmless to humans, id have eaten the damn thing and moved on.

And how do YOU know it's harmless to humans?
Can you direct me to the research which has tested the effects of this crustation on humans?

Once upone a time tobacco was supposed to be 'harmless' too!

Look just because 'someone' (i.e. some invisible voice of authority) says something is 'harmless to humans' means diddle squat to me.  If ain't supposed to be there in the 'normal' scheme of things I will hold on tightly to my healthy cynicism thank you.

Harmless to humans?
Then why aren't they selling them down the fish market same as the snapper?

Respect
