How about starting in the gym, as that is where most people go to get in shape.  Or if u wanna save urself some money u can always ask Black Power.

it depends how much weight u wana lose or  how toned u wana be?? going for health  and not vanity is the best mindset  to get into shape

lots of c.v(cardio-vascular) exercise and muscle strengthening and cut every last bit of crap out of your diet.. (caffiene, wheat, saturated fat, uncomplex carbs, dairy alcohol) etc..basically you get out what u put in. the more u detox the better u will look and u get quicker results.

this is from my experience..i train bout 5 days a week.

I used to be a personal trainer.

I was never a professional trainer, I was more of a salesman but I did produce a lot of results for my clients.

If you want a flatter stomach stop eating bread and pastries because the yeast they're made with expands in your stomach and bloats it.

If you want to tone your waist just do a lot of bending and wind-mill twisting exercises and it will tone your waist up.

But whatever you do DO NOT DO SIT-UPS!
I won't make your stomach or waist smaller, only harder and maybe even bigger.

A bigger booty in ratio to your body has less to do with exercise and more to do with genetics.

Squats and kick-backs will "lift" that ass up and make it firmer but to make it bigger I suggest plenty of sweet-potatoes and have your man sex you up doggy-style from the back and your butt will be on swole in no time soon.

OOmar honey, WHAT are you telling the woman? Stick to the salesman stuff O.K and let a real fitness freak take over!

Babygirl, if you want a flat stomach DO sit-ups. The proper way to do a sit up is NOT how many reps you do but the way you do it. You need to make sure your sit-bones are always on the floor, that your stomach is pulled in and up, and that you pull your chin to your chest as you bend up, keeping your hands cradling your head and elbows out. Do these slow. Hold when you reach the top, and lower back down.

There are various variations on directions you can go, with your legs raised, feet flat on the floor, crossed. The secret is, do them slow. Dont rush.

The sideways ones will help you work your lats to give your abdominals that V shape, the forwardones will use your abs, toning them.

For a tighter butt, which willl look more raised and rounder do squats and leg raises (OK Ooamr, you were OK on that one).

I think its all very well writing it but what you need is ot go out there and buy a Pilates DVD or find a class in it. It sounds like it would be lame beut believe me you will feel it afterwards and it will do wonders. Works al the areas you want worked.

Hope I helped some.

Sit ups won't give you a flatter stomach the salesman is right diet+cardiovuscular+muscle train=results . Some people are misled thinking that exercising one part of the body will make that part trimmer NOOOO

No, sit-ups is a major "no no" when you're trying to get a flat stomach.

Sit-ups will actually make your stomach muscles BIGGER because the resistance of your upper body is enough to tone and increase the mass of your stomach muscles.

You can get a six-pack by doing sit ups by toning the muscles, but you aren't gonna lose any fat over them.  You flatten your stomach by cutting out the yeast products and losing the fat around it.

Personally, I don't like a flat or muscular stomach on women.

Too many skinny sistaz are strutting around with bricks in their stomach thinking that's sexy.  Muscularity isn't sexy on a woman.

I think a small waist with a nice round pouche is sexy.

No one wants to be flabby, but a woman should look soft and delicate.

Your skin texture and how smooth and glossy it is does more to make you attractive than your tone anyway.
What good is having a muscular arms and legs when your belly is one color, your face is another, your butt is darker than your thighs, and your have pock-marks all over your chest and arms?

Of course this woman needs to look at her diet, but after 18 years as a professional fitness teacher for teens and adults who has taught Pilates, done all the weight training in the world, yoga and extensive Martial Arts I think I know what Im talking about people.

Sit ups done a certain way will NOT give you a bulging set of 6 packs (and I am proof of the pudding sweethearts). Go run in the gym, get yourself down to a certified pilates instructor and let her/him show you how its done. End.
