My stomach is flat when I stand up, but when I sit down I notice a small roll at the very bottom. I feel self conscious about it for some reason My stomach has never been completely flat, I've always had that small layer of fat that is visible only when I sit down or when I wear my bra too tight. Should I just leave it alone and confirm that it is genetics or is there something to be done about this small roll when I sit?

Don't sit down.
I dunno...I've grown quite accustomed to my small roll. It is like a security blanket. Without it I think I'd feel naked lol. When I wake up in the morning it isn't there, but after I've started my day and had a bite to eat, it reappears to comfort me once more...When I sit, it sits. When I stand, it disappears...but when I sit again, it is there for me.

As long as you're fit, your body knows best what to do.
Yeah...I guess. I don't know why I make it such a big deal. Noone else seems to notice or care but when I look down I see it and I guess I've been watching too much t.v. and seen the "perfect body" and thought: "Well, I have a roll when I sit so I need to work out harder." But actually, I don't want to over do it with the workouts for the sake of some ideal for the outer appearance of the human body when my health is fine. Also, I don't plan on starving myself.

Are you crazy woman? Look around you. EVERYONE has a roll when they sit down and lean forward a little. Your normal.

All women have a little extra fat in the area of their abdomen which covers their uterus + ovaries. It's there to protect your eggs and your incubator! That's why you notice that it's lower down on your belly and it seems more prominent when you sit down (when it's not stretched out).
If you make sure that you sit up as straight as possible, your tummy muscles should lift it slightly so it won't look as bad when you're sitting.

Wow..that sounded sexy....
A little extra fat to keep those eggs nice and warm in the belly.
