ok i have never been a gym type but I do run alot..I am a long distance runner..but of recently a friend recomended a gym  because its good :) etc etc etc.... I joined a gym and out of them questions was WHATS YOUR OBJECTIVE/WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US? ...and  i told my trainer I want to be BIG simple and she didnt get it until I had to explaine to her guess what? she put me on a trade mill and frankly speaking I am bored of the damn machine while I wanna lift some weights

Bodywise I am ok though some yrs back I was as skinny as Obama but now I am medium built...except of recently I have reen a huge weight gain now I wanna lift some weights and this white chick puts me on that bloody  running machine .... ohhh there is this Asian chick  who I would say spent about  THREE ...yes three on that bloody machine  and she was on high pace..I was like WFT what is she trying to prrove...ohh and then there is another one who I think was trying to intimidate me by lifting those kilos  and frankly speaking its playing on my mind....and I have not gone back for 4 days now as I am thinking my next strategy

what about suppliments would any of you guys recomend any..jeez I wanna be BIG man as it seems that thats whats on deman now...

Your suggestions/opinions/critisms/affections/advice...all will be appreciated

I used to share your same problem of being skinny as hell.

My problem was eating too much too often.

I slowed down my metabolism by eating big meals only twice a day and doing physical work and have been maintaining a decent physique ever since.

For you....

If you want to get big really quick just eat a lot of meat and potato product, eat late at night, and lift very heavy weights.

I guarantee you'll be on swole in about a month.


If you really want to get big and strong, take some creatine monohydrate and you'll get monstrous.

When you walk down the street  they'll be trying to throw a net over your ass.

1. you dont need supplements.... i dont take any... and im not a small guy

2. dont listen to those fool fool people  u see workin... unless they have a build you aspire to.. 90% dont know ***t.

3. if ur a skinny dude.. u dont need cardio... i dont do it... and im very ripped.... cardio is good however for reasons of health...ie..helps build stamina levels... good for the heart... etc etc.. so in essence you should do some cardio...in theory... but for a body type like yours not everyday in facti reccomend once a week

4. free weights free weights free weights..these are your friends in fact when next go forget the fool foll program they have you on... if you was near me i'd gadly do a session with you to show you the ropes... anyway

freeweights your best friends...

ideally lets use chect for example...

your gonna do since you're beginning.. 5 diff excersises for chest... 3 sets each priorotising freewieghts first

ok so

after stretching thoroughly

excercise number 1

barbell bench press..

depending on your strenght levels

your gonna put weight on the bar u can manage for 10 - 12 reps

so

set 1   10-12reps

set 2 now your gonna add more weight..since ur a begginer small increments

set 2    8-10 reps

set 3 final set add more weight

set 3   6-8 reps

since ur a beginner use a spotter becase ideally on these sets u should be near failure at the end of each sets..

also rest suffieciently between sets 3- 4 mins or until breathing returns to normal..

second excercise is for upper chest incline barbell presses

this is done where the bench is set at a raised angle bout 45%  same principle applies 3 sets... pyramiding up in weight each set to near failure..

third excercise flat flyes this works the inner chest its done with dumbells lying falt on a bench dumbell in each hand.. and ur gonna mimmick hugging a barrel or a tree the motion...  aks experienced guys u see training how to do this... its hard to explain by typing.... again 3 sets... pyramiding up in weight each set.

fouth excercise.. same as third but from a incnline postion to hit the upper chest...

incline flyes..

3 sets..

final excercise...

pec dec..  im sure u know this machine.. again 3 sets moving the pin up in weight each set.

this is a good mass building workout for a beginner...

im late for work so i wont go into any other body parts...

Listen to Omaar, BLack Power and Lucas.  Luke is showing you his size and definition so you can respect what he is talking about.  Respect Omaar as well because as he said eating heavy meals and rest.  So is power.

Don't get wrapped up in football looks because all of the football players lift but they do not get too big because you cannot move and believe it or not they stretch their muscles so they do not tear.  If you are a tight and stiff muscular person, you can easily tear a muscles.  That is why it is important to stretch them too.  You also have to rest which a lot of people ignore because if you don't you will not give you body time to heal after you break it down.  THis is important.  Plus american football players exercise their muscles to exhaustion before the season starts meaning that you lift weights until your muscles just stop working or till you vomit and then you start back again until the muscle is completely fatigued.  So I would advise you not to follow any NFL regimens you see on the net because they are half filled with info and would not do you as much good as following the advice of people you know on here who lift or train people.

Also watch your form and like Lucas said, free weights are your friends.  Machines weights make make you feel as if you can do more, but free weights actually are more beneficial for you if you are going after what you want.

Last but not least, try to find someone to massage your muscles and joints, (preferably a woman :) )  after a work out.  For me I was never a big guy and when I put on a lot of muscle weight it just hurted sometimes as my body was not used to all the weight that I had gained.  Massaging helped a lot for both my muscle repair/growth and helping my tendons ease into the weight.

Well that is my two cents and be careful and not rush it.  ;)

thank you guys and since I have never taken any supliment in my life I dont think I will as I have been reading MENS HEALTH magazine(looks like a gay magazine to me) though I still buy it and they were giving tips on BEING BIG etc etc..I think we do these things so we can be fit and most importantly its about opposite sex

sh*t man confused3 I felt like that dude in BUDWEISER ADVERT where the girlfriend was describing how small his fingers were and so on..well I was playing along with that conversation but you know YOU HAVE TO LOOK at the bigger picture there..so I decided well let me get myself in the GYM and sort this thing  out.....

Personal trainer...a woman(Drew Barymore look alike)...alot of good looking black sisters there and good number of asian chicks as well...ohhh that chick who didnt get off that tradmill for 3 dam hrs and other were like SUPERWOMEN and DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT GYMS ARE GAY CHURCHES??

Heavy weights are what builds muscles by making them bigger.

Light weight are only good for maintaining and enduranced (lasting longer), but not necessarily for strength and size.

If you want to get bigger solidly then you have to hit heavy weights but only twice a week...no more.


But as far as juicing up, I knew/know a few cats who are on that mess and it ain't nothing nice.  It makes you crazy, violent, and your nuts stop working for a while.

One of my boys died of a heart attack at 25 from steroids.

Unless you're need a powerful body to makes some money off of it like being an athlete, body builder, or body guard....don't mess around.

 

DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT GYMS ARE GAY CHURCHES??

I do a lot of manuel labor now and don't need to go to the gymn, but when I did....hardly a day would go by without some funny looking cracka trying to start a conversation with me or scheme up on a way to work out.

It's always the white boys hitting on you.

I can't remember the last time I met a fine sista who tried to get all up on me.
Women shoot into the gymn...handle their business...and jet out like lightening before you can hardly get a good conversation in.

But every TIME I went into the locker room there was some red peckered pecker-wood standing on the bench butt-naked asking all the bruthaz what time it was.

 

Unless you're 17 or 18 and your metabolism is on fire.

Heavey meals 3 or 4 times a day (if you can afford them), eating at night,  and very heavy weights are guranteed to get you bigger.

But remember to only work out each body part twice a week and no more.

But for real...I can't gain ANY weight at all people, I'm 6"1 and weigh like 10 and a half stone. I wanna put on at least a stone and then i can hit the gym and work it inot muscle. Help ppl! What can a poor student with not very much money eat to put on weight?

It's for sick or old people in some sort of therapy.

Infact 90 % of men (including Black men) hitting the gym have GAY TENDENCIES especially my local gym is full of mofos the E LYNN HARRIS types wearing them skin tights..though they look HUGE and SCARY like sh*t man...i even noticed some bouncers are so gayish though they tend to be insecure so they tend to have those bullish tendencies

btw  whats up with sistaz and gyms man!
