I wanted to inform you all about the Bev Smith radio talk show. She talks about black issues and stuff(like the goverment)
Her show is on each night monday thru friday(monday -thruday in Kansas City on KPRT am,7.oclock to 9.clock)
Every Wednesday night she has what she calls "To Your Health Black America" in which she discuss black health issues.
She has guests who are doctors or experts on health issues. Last night she had a lady doctor who talked about some things.
One thing she talked about was post-natal depression(she mentioned actress Brooke Shields who has been taking
Antidepressants to cope with post-natal depression). This doctor said post-natal depression is due to some kind of
Hormone imbalance or something(I forget exactly what she said),and said that antidepressants should not be taken by
women who has post-natal depression. Anyway I suggest that you find out what radio station in you city that the
Bev Smith show comes on and check it out. It is very imformative. (In the Kansas City area in comes on KPRT a.m. mon-thru 7.oclock to 9.oclock.
